Excellent service and friendly owner. They're quick to communicate and super helpful. I found my new gun shop!

Special thanks to RTBA LA for making my online transfer smooth and professional. Stayed in communication throughout the process and will definitely use them again! read more

I've used other FFLs in the past and no one beats their customer service, communication, pricing, and professionalism. As of Covid times, they are appointment only, and masks are required. They take it seriously and ensure that everyone is safe. They are the only FFL I trust!! read more

RTBA LA walked me through this very new process (to me) with total patience and understanding. They served as an FFL for a firearm I bought online. It was a completely professional yet caring experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to purchase a firearm. read more

Love this store!!! If you want honesty, great customer service with being able to ask questions, this is the place!! Ask for Vatche.

Recently purchased a used firearm and had it transfered to RTBA LA. Small shop but clean and in a quiet area. A hidden gem to say the least. Vache the owner/operator was very helpful in making the paperwork process quick and thorough despite the new laws that just became effective July 1. He is very professional and customer service is outstanding. I will definitely come back to RTBA LA. read more

I highly recommend this business. My wife and I were in search of a gun for home protection and we found RTBA LA on Yelp. Vache was very professional and took the time to answer all of our questions through several conversations. He is extremely knowledgable, has great inventory, and most importantly he is patient and very customer friendly, especially to us since we knew nothing about guns. Even after we made our purchase, I had some follow up questions and Vache took the time to answer them, even though he was extremely busy and was under no obligation to do so. read more

I highly recommend this place! Owner and operator Vache was very helpful, prices are competitive and Vache took care of my order and always kept me posted. I know where I'm buying my next firearm and ammo this place is awesome. read more

Vache's customer service, demeanor, speed, efficiency and friendliness are second to none. I've purchased firearms from almost every major FFL in Los Angeles/San Fernando Valley and there is no comparison. Quick on replying to emails (even with needy customers) and even better when it comes to delivery I would think of shopping no where else. read more

What a wonderful store. I drove from West LA and it was totally worth it. It's so rare that you deal with anyone who is a 100% standup person but Vache is just that. I won't be looking for any other FFL's any time soon! Keep up the good work :) read more

Great place to buy guns and ammo. Owner does his best to make things as easy as possible for clients and keeps things running smooth. So much better than the other big name corporations where you have to pick a number and wait for your turn for hours and hours ! Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to buy guns and ammo. read more

RTBA LA - Guns & Ammo Near Me - Burbank, California

See all

For some reason I thought I left a review already (sorry) I bought a bolt action around June of last year(way before this pandemic ), customer service was superb. We starting talking about the AR platform and Vache introduced me to a featureless grip alternative, he let me take it home to try it out for free. I loved it so much I returned the next day to purchase it along with extra accessories for the bolt action. I never felt rushed like I do in most other shops and it felt like I was talking to a friend instead of a business owner. If I could give this shop extra stars I would. Thanks for everything Vache read more

Vache is extremely courteous and professional. He helped with the transfer of a Winchester 1873 from out of state, and made the process quick and painless during this COVID craziness. Social distancing is taken seriously, his fees are fair compared to other gun shops in the area, and the atmosphere he creates is friendly (without being exclusive like more hardcore gun shops). Don't expect to find what you're looking for in terms of firearms in stock as most places are cleared out, but they will facilitate transfers without overcharging. Thank you for all your help! read more

RTBA LA helped me get my 1st firearm from a friend out of state during the pandemic. He was very helpful and answered all my questions via email. read more

A really good owner and extremely knowledgeable when dealing with firearms in CA. Had a firearm brought in and he kept me up-to-date with phone calls during the process. Really happy with how everything went and we'll certainly be back again soon for my next firearm purchase read more

Great service from a new gun seller in Burbank. Everything first class and the owner congenial. My new preferred dealer. Give him a try. He may have a small shop but he can order what you need. A new entrepreneur building his business the right way, with great service and no "Gun shop" attitude. read more

Great selection. Great prices. Owner is honest and reliable. Probably the best gun store in town, quite honestly.

Excellent customer service! Awesome shop in a nice location. Happy to have in our community. I was looking for a hard-to-find firearm (other competitor shops could not get it for me) and the shop was able to source it and at a great price. The owner also informed me of the status along the way. More importantly, with all the restrictive laws in CA, the owner made sure that we were good to go on the legality of the transaction. That's excellent service! The firearms community is fortunate to have RTBA-LA. Ammo prices are very competitive, as well. Together with my firearm purchase, I got a case of ammo (1,000 rounds) at a great price from the shop. Really my go-to shop now with future purchases, including accessories. I highly recommend this shop! read more

Bought My S&W 357 there and it was a very pleasant experience. I Highly recommend RTBA. Don't get any attitude like other places in LA County read more

RTBA LA is a hidden gem. I came here for a standard private party transfer from cal-guns and was surprised at how nice this FFL is. Vache(the owner of the shop) runs a very tight ship. His prices are better than most competitors in California and his customer service is unrivaled. I highly recommend RTBA LA. At the very least stop by. They won't waste your time with BS and will send you in the right direction if you can't find what it is your looking for. read more

Great customer service, very good communication, and very good prices. I will go back and recommend everyone I know to this place. Fast and easy transaction A+++. read more

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place. Vache is absolutely amazing, extremely patient, and a wonderful help for those looking to purchase or transfer fire arms. I used RTBALA as a FFL-Vache not only made the process very smooth, but also made sure I was comfortable and ready to use my firearm allowing me ample opportunities to ask questions and even provided demonstrations. I can't thank Vache and his staff enough for all of the help. Looking forward to purchasing from him in the future! read more

I found RTBA LA in a link from an arms manufacturer. I called first and found that the store could order in almost anything I wanted in hunting rifles. When I finally visited, the owner was very helpful and friendly. The store doesn't have a large inventory, so it's best to do research online, all and ask if what's wanted is available. Pricing from RTBA LA was very competitive and I was pleased to find the lowest price of out-of-state sites could be matched, no shipping charges or FFL transfer fees, either. Pricing on ammo purchased for the new rifle was very, very competitive. No line, no number, I walked in and put down a deposit, filled out the background check paperwork and waited for 10 days. No line at pickup, either. I will bring them all my firearm business. read more

Great FFL, friendly service and very accommodating. It's rare nowadays to find an FFL with friendly services. They are very organized and specific about the whole process in order to provide you a smooth transaction. read more

Met someone here for a PPT that was lightning fast (I believe they are by appointment only). The staff couldn't have been more welcoming or friendly. I don't live in the area, but I can assure you that if I have an opportunity to visit RTBA LA again, I'll definitely stop in. read more

WOW I cannot say enough good things about Vache or RTBA LA! Vache's service is unbeatable! He took the time to explain everything to me and was a great help in answering all my questions. I was looking to purchase my first hand gun and after reading the other yelp reviews I visited RTBA to take my Fire Arm Safety certificate test and purchase my handgun. I was looking for a specific make and model (which he didn't have in stock) however he took his time and found the exact gun I was looking for and ordered it. After the gun arrived I went in and purchased it, waited the typical 10 days for the dros (background check) to process and picked it up. Because of the incredible service I've received we are going to go back and purchase a hand gun for my wife. I will be going back to him for all my firearm needs. Want a gun? No need to look anywhere else Vache and RTBA LA is the go to place!! read more

I purchased a firearm online and used RTBA LA for the FFL transfer. It was my first time and RTBA LA answered all the questions I had. Even during these tough times, they took the time to assist me efficiently and without hesitation. For a transaction that most shops would push off, RTBA LA went above and beyond. Upon arrival, I was greeted by everyone in the shop. Everyone was wearing masks and practicing social distancing. Vache helped me with the DROS process and taught me things new gun owners aren't aware of. Vache takes the time to personalize every interaction he has with his clients. Vache was super friendly and helpful. Words can't describe how valued I felt as a client. I will be going to RTBA LA for all my firearms needs in the future. Thank you Vache and RTBA LA! read more

Had an incredible experience from the moment I walked in the door. The owner could not have been more helpful and took special care to make sure my experience was great from start to finish. I recommend this shop to anyone looking for a new firearm, accessories or any other needs. Will be back for all my future needs! read more

Wow was I pleasantly surprised to see this new gun shop open! I have bought guns from many others but this gun shop is excellent. Customer service is an A+++++. The gun I wanted, they had in stock. I also order another one through this store and it was so easy! The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful in answering all my questions. Thank you RTBA LA! I recommend anyone who is looking for a gun shop to visit this one even if there may be one closer to you! Prices and services is worth it!!! read more

If you're looking for a friendly, knowledgeable FFL then RTBA LA is the place to go. The owner is smart, patient and very easy to work with. I've been to several gun shops across the valley the past 5 years and Vache at RTBA LA is hands down the easiest to work with when it comes to direct purchases, PPTs and ammo orders. Highly recommend you check them out. read more

Vatche and his staff are very professional and easy to work with. They really take the hassle out of the whole firearm purchasing process. I did an ffl transfer here and I'd happily work with them in the future. read more

OK, first I want to say I had nothing but a great experience at this place and what I'm about to say may sound negative but it's not a reflection on this business in anyway. It's a shame I have to give five stars for what should be the standard and what every business should be doing... this place is friendly, helpful and efficient. They kept my appointment, answered my questions, their prices are reasonable and I was in and out in 15 minutes. Did they go above and beyond, no(though there wasn't really a need to) and is that worth five stars, I guess in today's world it is... or maybe it should start out at five stars and for every hiccup and headache a star should be taken off, I don't know. I went to another firearms dealer in Los Angeles recently and had an appointment and once I was done with the safety certificate test they left me standing there at the counter for an hour then told me they were short staffed and I would have to wait outside for an indeterminate amount of time... I got angry and left and went to another fire arms business which I had to wait in line for two hours and then when I picked up what I purchased I had to wait in line again for 3.5 hours.... People tend to only review businesses that make them angry and wholeheartedly I have been guilty of that. So going forward if I go to a business and have a good experience I will make a point and an effort to let others know not just by word-of-mouth. read more

Vache is a super cool dude and easy to work with. I highly recommend utilizing his expertise and services.

Nothing but professional service. Vache will never make you feel like you are inconveniencing him. As busy as he is during this pandemic, he will take the time to explain things to you, especially gun safety and ownership. If you need anything please check in with Vache first because we all should support small businesses. This is a man who is passionate about what he does and makes sure his customers are taken care of. read more

Friendly, fast, reasonable price. Used them 3 times. Easy. In the future I will be happy to visit them again.

Outstanding staff, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this store for your firearm needs.

Small & cozy gun shop with very pleasant & knowledgeable owner Vache! I have bought 4 pieces from there already even though it's an extra 40 min drive for me from where i live. What attracts me is Vache's professionalism paired with positive attitude & of course always reasonable prices! read more

I can't say enough good things about Vache and RTBA LA. RTBA LA is a fantastic gun shop. Professional, efficient, helpful and ready to welcome people into gun ownership as a hobby and self defense. Vache is friendly and knowledgeable and even during Covid has taken proactive steps to make a smooth and safe buying experience. I've recommended him to multiple friends and urge you to check out this shop for your needs including FSC, DROS and online orders. Also he receives online ammo orders! Great shop, fair prices, you won't be disappointed. read more

It start out as a phone call to see if they had a stripped lower and the price. They had the best price in the area. Went in to buy the lower and the process was great. Love small stores. The customer service is so much better and the time spent was great. I walked in, look at the lower and started the paper work. 30 mins later I was done and that included taking a look at a few different hand guns. This is a great place and it closer to me than the other gun stores in Burbank. I will ne back for all my fire arm needs. read more
