We decided on that car and I must say we received a 5 star experience We had visited many other local used car dealerships and most were text book shady experiences We purchased the car and things were great until approximately 16 days later we experienced a transmission failure. The AZ Used can lemon law is 15 days or 500 miles. We were out on both as we had 1000 miles and 2 days past the warranty from purchase I have seen this a million times in my career now knowing this repair is costly assuming $2800 repair bill min The transmission failed on I10 in Tempe. I called Moe and not only did he offer to help he literally drove immediately to the location of the break down. This man shows up with computer equipment and diagnosed the break down and arranged for the vehicle to be taken to his dealership. I knew legally there wasn't a thing we could do and there was no way that there was an issue when we purchased it. Moe told us the law and then estimated the repair costs $ 2800 retail. Knowing vehicles all my life Moe is as honest as they come. My step son no way could come up the $2800 cash needed after just using 2k cash down payment Moe arranged for us to only pay half the cost at a "wholesale dealer cost " not retail and let us make payments to him for the repair. So this man ate the cost up front at his facility refusing to use a " rebuilt " transmission and only insisting on an original transmission Knowing the auto industry Moe legally and morally didn't have to do a single thing for us. His obligation was fulfilled legally Royal Auto Group has to be the ONLY stand up used car dealer in the Greater Phoenix area rest assured He is truly a "CLASS ACT" and isn't like any other used car dealer. The place is immaculate and so down to earth and is as Professional as they come I highly recommend this place. You can't lose as Moe is there "After the sale". I Was also impressed with the selection of cars. All front line vehicles

Every mechanic was welcoming; the shop manager, Moe, introduced himself. Never felt more valuable at a service center. And they treated me like I had a brain (not like a silly woman who doesn't know anything about cars) and explained/showed what was wrong and why I needed other repairs. Did the basics today, oil and tires. Got incredibly reasonable quotes from Brian (owns space at Royal Auto) for struts (leaking. Badly.) and shocks; motor mount; and tyranny mount. He also ranked the quotes on what needs to be done first, second, etc. Will also be doing tire sensor and a couple other things. I found my forever car doctor. Thanks, Brian.

I didn't have a huge budget, but needed to have something reliable. As it turned out, I didn't fall in love with the car I went to see. There was no pressure applied to move forward. Jeff however, had a line on another vehicle that would be coming in with low miles. I was very interested and asked that he contact me with the details when available. As promised, this car was in fantastic shape, had all the car fax information and was at a very fair price. I do not personally care for negotiating over a price so this was important to me. I have purchased my fair share of cars in my day. This was a top notch transaction. They are very professional and perform with integrity. The battery warranty was a life saver. While the car has low miles, it's 12 years old. I suppose it is fair to expect those old batteries to wear down. After about 6000 miles, they fixed/replaced the battery with no hassles! I've been driving my sons future car to save on gas. When I turn it over to him, I see another Prius from All Price Auto in my future.

I've purchased many vehicles over the years and normally don't leave reviews, but this experience…read moredeserves to be shared. I've been trying to purchase a Tacoma from Camelback Toyota because I've had good experiences with the dealership in the past, including buying my Tundra there. My family has also purchased several other vehicles over the years, including Lexus models from other dealerships, so I'm very familiar with the car-buying process. Unfortunately, this experience has been extremely disappointing due to the way Mike, one of the managers, handled the situation. Initially, Ryan had quoted me $4,500 for a lift and tire package. Later, when I spoke with Mike, he changed the price to $4,875. When I asked why the price was different, he said it was because this was a different truck. I explained that the truck shouldn't matter because I was simply purchasing the same lift and tire package. I also asked whether I could keep my original tires if I purchased the package. Mike told me no and said the original tires had to stay unless I paid an additional $600. This confused me because when I purchased a lift and tires through the same dealership in the past, I was allowed to keep my original tires at no extra charge. I mentioned that I had already called other shops and found the same setup for about $1,000 less, but we were still considering doing the work at the dealership to help protect the truck's warranty. When I bought my Tundra, I was told that installing a lift outside the dealership could potentially affect warranty coverage, so we were trying to stay loyal to Camelback Toyota despite the higher price. Things became worse after I told the salesperson that I wanted to speak directly with Ryan again to better understand why the pricing and terms had suddenly changed. Shortly after that, Mike sent me what I felt was a very rude and unprofessional text message. In the text, he accused me of not taking "small steps" while claiming he was "going miles" for me. He repeatedly brought up the MSRP price of the truck and implied that I couldn't afford it. To be clear, I understood we were negotiating. The truck was listed around $55,000, and I was trying to get closer to $49,000. Ryan had previously mentioned he could potentially do around $52,200, so we were still working through numbers. Negotiation is normal in car buying, but the way Mike handled it was disrespectful and unnecessary. My wife had already left a review a few weeks ago because she also felt Mike was rude during an earlier interaction. We were actually ready to walk away at that point, but we decided to give the dealership another chance because of our previous positive experiences there and because we wanted to continue doing business with them. Unfortunately, this second experience only made things worse. What's most frustrating is the inconsistency between managers. One manager tells us one thing, while another changes the pricing and conditions completely. On top of that, I've tried asking to speak with the general manager so I can show the text messages, discuss the pricing discrepancies, and explain our concerns directly, but no one has provided me with contact information or helped escalate the issue. At the end of the day, buying a truck is a major purchase for our family. We simply wanted transparency, professionalism, and fair treatment. Instead, we were met with aggressive behavior, conflicting information, and disrespectful comments. Camelback Toyota has a large inventory and plenty of opportunities to earn loyal customers, which is why it's disappointing to see behavior like this from management. I truly hope the general manager sees this review, addresses the situation, and takes steps to improve how customers are treated moving forward.

Dishonest and Unprofessional from Start to Finish!…read more My experience with Auto House Tempe was extremely disappointing and frustrating from beginning to end. I encountered misleading advertising, pressure tactics, and a complete lack of professionalism from the salesman (Grant), the manager, and the finance department manager. The vehicle was advertised on Cars.com at a low price, but once I arrived, I was told that price only applied if you had a trade-in and financed through them. They claimed Cars.com is a third-party provider and that they "couldn't include the fine print." That alone felt deceptive. On top of that, they added $1,700 in mandatory upgrades that were not disclosed in the advertised price. These upgrades were not optional--you had to pay them, which significantly changed the real cost of the car. During my first visit, they pressured me to sign a deal based solely on a monthly payment. I was very clear that I wanted to negotiate based on the advertised price, not a payment. After a lot of back-and-forth, we finally reached numbers I was comfortable with. When I returned for the second visit, they demanded a deposit before providing full, detailed paperwork. I have never purchased a car where I was asked for a deposit before reviewing the complete deal--this was a huge red flag. They also required signing an "as-is" agreement. I asked reasonable questions: * What happens if I drive off the lot and the car turns out to be a lemon? * Is there an inspection report? * Is there any base warranty? The manager assured me yes and promised to email the inspection report and warranty details the next day. It has now been five days, and I've received nothing. I also texted the salesperson and got no response. I recently moved here from California, and I can confidently say this type of business practice would never fly there. I'm shocked this dealership is still operating the way it does. Buyers should be extremely cautious. Do yourself a favor and do not go to Auto House Tempe.
