Overall, we enjoyed a positive interaction, felt no pressure to buy and thought the price was fair. However, we were disappointed with what happened after we took the car home and noticed on Day 1 that the entire vehicle often shook violently while idling at stop lights. When we bought the car, the sales person told us that the owner herself used the car as her personal vehicle for a week. Surely she must have experienced the same violent shaking. In addition to the shaking, we also noticed a few other minor issues and reported them to our sales person via phone: -slider on air vent fell off the first time we touched it -DVD player was not flush with roof -tire pressure warning message on car display -brake lamp was out We were pleased when the sales person suggested we bring the car back in so they could have their in-house mechanic look at it. When I returned with the car, I took a ride with the mechanic, a BMW specialist, and the sales person. The mechanic mentioned several times that he was on his lunch break--with the implication being that he didn't want to spend too much time driving around with me (VERY FRUSTRATING to hear as a customer who just spent $15K w/ a business). Unable to get the shaking to replicate during our brief ride, both men insisted that there was nothing wrong with the car bc the diagnostic system would report any major issues. To their credit, Four Seasons did replace the burned out brake lamp and reset the tire pressure warning. The DVD player was aftermarket, so they said there was nothing they could do about that, and I accepted that answer. However, I was not satisfied with their explanation about the car shaking. So I took the car to Mark Salem's. $250 later, we learned that the EGR valve was dirty and sticking. It needed to be cleaned. This is apparently a known issue with our make and model Mercedes. Clearly, there was a problem---and there's no way the business owner drove the car for a full week without experiencing it for herself. I'm lucky it was only a $250 fix. Despite having a positive experience during point-of-sale, I'd hesitate to recommend this business to anyone else because I believe they were dishonest about disclosing the dirty EGR valve. My husband's had a pneumonia since mid-February, so today we finally got around to calling up Four Seasons and telling them what happened. Their response: "that was months ago." Way to nail that customer service, guys.

I met with one of the salesmen named Scott who I immediately connected with. He wasn't pushy at all and wanted to know my needs and wants more than talking me into a car. I test drove a Mercedes ML 350 which was super clean and had low miles. I was nervous about what a small dealership could do for financing but they actually had better rates than Scottsdale Porsche. They wanted 400 dollars in the estimated repair cost JUST to use the diagnostic tool to figure out what's wrong DURING a full and complete 200 dollar inspection that's supposed to tell me what's wrong with my car. I will never ever go to a dealership again for as long as I live. when I went to pick up my car they just gave me a few pieces of paper stapled together with generic vague short details about what could be fixed on the car with a 7,000 dollar estimate. The vehicle looked exactly how it was posted online. On top of that they sent me a video of the vehicle right there at the dealership for me, just to let me know that it's actually there. I was able to discuss prices over the phone get the entire layout before even entering the doors. We were happy and satisfied by the time that we walked out the doors with keys in hand. They told me my engine was seized due to rod bearing failure-- at 88k miles, which, as many of you know, is exactly the issue that's been recalled or covered under Hyundai's extended warranty for this model/year. Same exact engine that's been having issues (2.0 NU MPI) The dealership said they were missing maintenance records and asked me to provide them. Luckily, I've always taken care of my car and changed the oil and did filters/rotations and the works. I was able to provide dates of ALL oil changes I completed that the car was being properly maintained during those times. Despite all that, Hyundai still denied the claim, saying it was due to "excessive neglect"--which is just ridiculous. I met every requirement and provided clear documentation. When I called Hyundai Corporate to understand what they meant by "excessive neglect," they refused to elaborate and told me the case is closed with no option to appeal. Here's what I've done so far: Filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Filed with the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) - someone has already been assigned to my case and will be visiting the dealership soon. Hyundai pretty much told us it's not their issue and we are screwed. Even though they have KNOWN issues with the same year/model/engine. I would never recommend getting a Hyundai, the engine in my car seized at 88k miles with identical issues that recalls are known for but they wouldn't even admit to it and kept saying "it's out of warranty". Please be aware and avoid buying a Hyundai at all costs. Horrible experience but it shed light to how crappy of a company they are and how much they don't care about their long time customers.

Loved the car, but, of course, they were asking WAY above Kelly Blue Book. Now, I don't begrudge a company wanting to make a profit, but I didn't want to waste my (or their) time, so I walked away. They texted 2 days later wanting to make a more reasonable deal. Which we ended up taking. Quote from the salesman upon our return: "Glad to see you've come to your senses!" Me: As have you YOURS! Salesman: Touche! Long story short. The process was painless and quick. Took the car to my mechanic (Slaughter and Associates...LOVE them there!) and had them go over everything. I was told by them that it was in great shape! Nice to know they don't sell crud over at Red Mountain Motors. All in all. I would highly recommend Red Mountain Motors to anyone looking for a good deal on a great car. Just be patient, informed and willing to walk away...they'll come around!
