Vietnamese iced coffee
Miranda G.

I've seen this place a million times but never stopped in. Decided to try it on this quiet, foggy Sunday morning. Clean and well stocked. Loved the coffee roaster in the center of the space and the wall of roasted coffee beans. The menu was pretty extensive and everything smelled and looked delicious. The staff was prompt and friendly. Walked out with a giant iced coffee and a few pastries for the fam. Everything was delicious. Adding this to my list of weekend go-to/treat stops.

4++ Small cafe located in Benicia in an area where there are a few strip malls and eateries. This café does mostly breakfast and lunch. I think actually that's all they do. The folks here are very friendly and helpful. Came here for lunch and got a sandwich and a coffee. It was my first time in the person behind the camera was pretty helpful. The menu is more of a build your own sandwich type thing for lunch so I just picked a turkey on marble rye with a bunch of veggies. The space itself has a good amount of seating. There's also plenty of parking outside. It could get busy though.

Very friendly local coffee shop that roasts their own beans! They had a remodel a couple months ago and the place looks fantastic. The vibe is super chill, with locals stashed at their corner, but there's plenty more room for sitting. They get Noah's bagels for their bagels, and have some burritos made by a local vendor. The owner Sam is super chill, ask him about why it's called Rrags! OH and the reason why I come here so often other than because it's a local coffee shop and everyone should be supporting local businesses is that they are the ONLY spot in Benicia that makes a Vietnamese coffee fantastically. You won't regret it!

I'm a stickler for excellent customer service and the cashiers at Rrags get an A+! They offer a large variety of coffee, baked goods, and food items that can be enjoyed from breakfast to dinner. I tried the morning glory loaf and the caramel macchiato - both were delish. My daughter enjoyed the Lavendar Oatmilk Latte. I'm excited for the many other items we'll enjoy on our many other visits. The interior is aesthetically pleasing. I love the mailboxes that hold the coffee beans - very original. I like what Rrags has brewing!

Rrags Caffe is such a hidden gem! The coffee is rich and smooth, the food is fresh and flavorful, and the vibe is super cozy; which is perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. You can really taste the care they put into every dish and drink. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. The breakfast egg sandwich hit the spot, the lox bagel was chef's kiss, and don't even get me started on those apple & blueberry fritters!!! But I highly suggest coming as early as possible because they run out of pastries quick! I came back the next day for another blueberry fritters and it was all sold out! For drinks, I ordered their Royal Special Mocha and it was, like I said, rich and smooth! Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to again and again.

Cane after work and got an iced mango matcha and a raspberry tart. I liked the dessert, it was sweet and tart, which I loved. The mango matcha was something that the staff hasn't done before and I wish it had a little more mango syrup. The place was so cute and I loved the coffee wall.

Every now and then I get a craving for a bagel breakfast sandwich and that's when Rrags comes to mind! Service is always quick and the food is always so good. The breakfast sandwich is somewhat customizable so you can add toppings to your liking (based on what they have). FYI - the parking lot is small and usually fills up. However, street parking is always an option!

Breakfast sandwich- thin but my Grandmother liked it.

This was a pleasant experience! I stopped by to get coffee and food after seeing this place pop up as a suggestion. I ordered a Lox bagel and iced black and white latte for myself, a breakfast sandwich for my Grandmother and an iced honey lavender oat latte for my sister. We loved our drinks; my latte "tasted like coffee" (and not sugar) and that was perfect. The Lox bagel was fresh and a bit burnt on the edges but nothing too bad or spectacular. I loved the various meat, bread and cheese options for the breakfast sandwich and got a bacon and pepper jack on wheat. My Grandmother liked it. The place was chill but definitely busy. The staff were patient and helpful as I looked the menu. The place was busy but clean and I was able to find a unoccupied table inside while I waited for my order.

Iced Honey Oat Latte, Iced Black and White Mocha

I came here to study a little with my boyfriend! It was a little rainy so I thought a hot honey and oat latte and toasted bagel with cream cheese was going to perfect for the cold weather. My boyfriend ordered a toasted Asiago bagel with jam and butter and an iced black and white mocha. I sadly received an iced honey oat latte but it's okay, I didn't mind too much so I just kept my drink. I tried the black and white mocha which was extremely sweet, opposite from the honey oat latte which just tasted like milk with espresso. On the other hand, the toasted bagels were delicious!! Perfectly toasted and was ready a couple minutes after I ordered. We sat in a corner of the cafe which was nice with having both the window and cozy interior of the cafe to look at when doing my assignment. All in all, not the best coffee but great bagels!

The young guy that worked there was very helpful. Explain things and did a great job. This is a nice sandwich. Place good and fresh food. Absolutely worth coming to. I attempted to make a revision in the notes and it didn't get sent through. Admittedly it could be user error but both my husband and I watched me submit it. We then waiting for about 25 minutes for the sandwiches. About 15 minutes in I went to inquire about it and they sorted through a stack of a few receipts before telling me they were going to start them now. When I got my sandwich, it was missing the revision I had made so I went to ask if they could correct. They then argued it wasn't in the notes and got irritated when I asked if they could still fix it. I said I would pay the difference if that was the challenge. They ended up making the change but by then it had been about 35-40 minutes after I ordered the sandwich. Overall, I feel like the experience could have had a lot of improvement. Happy to see a small business in this cute downtown but hoping they improve their processes a bit.

They give you a little extra baguette on soups and sandwiches, being a bread lover, that's a plus (though I shouldn't be eating all the bread). Service is okay. Expectations are between a fast food place and a sandwich shop. They are nice, but nothing over the top or exceptional about it. The prices are a little high, but what isn't in the Bag Area. Sandwiches (6 inch) are in the mid teens, so were the salads.
