The second job was more extensive as there were several "needs" in one day. They replaced overhead light fixtures (3 of them), replaced an old and VERY outdated (probably from when our house was built over 35 years ago!) smoke/fire alarm, and installed bedside wall mounted lights. They are GORGEOUS!! On their third visit soon, we will have heated flooring in our master bedroom installed. B. Henry's Quality Electric is the place to go for your electrical needs. To the inexperienced or with out knowledge of what it takes to run a service company like this, it's understandable that the fee seems adsorbent. Yet if you stop and think who else you might call, the fee would be no less, I guarantee it. Furthermore, this is all this company does, clean out sewers pipes, they do not replace faucets, run new copper to a new location or change out washers. They clear sewer lines and nothing else, they are the best, bar none. Most all their employees have been with the company for years. They are as fair with their rates as any other contractor. As for the cleanliness on the interior of a home, well, there is always room for improvement, I'll give you that.. Generally though they don't come in side the house if they can help it. On several occasions I've seen them clear a drains from the vent on the roofs. Two guys or one guy the insurance is the same, the taxes are the same, the overhead is the same. I had one guy come today and cleared the line within an hour. He even offered to clean up the debris (PC for Shit) off the ground from around the clean out. If you don't have a clean out, get one. And have your sewer pipes periodically cleaned out (say the week before Thanks Giving every year and you will save yourself a lot of grief. If you see what these guys have to deal with day in and day out, you would not do it for four times the fee they charge. Be smart, call them today and have them look at your situation. Have them video tape your sewer pipes so you can see what the problem is and perhaps begin to repair it permanently. Say thank you as they leave because you never know whey you'll need them back. I needed service (for clogged main) at my home in Novato yesterday and went with Roy's because they were local. I called at 8:00a, the lady that aswered the phone was pleasant and informative and said they could have someone out between 12:00 and 2:00 that day. At 11:30a I recieved a call and was told the guys would be there within the hour. The guys showed up at 12:20 and were personable and professional. They planned for a 2 man, 1 hour job (1 hour min). The job ended up being completed easier and faster than they anticipated and I was charged only half of the amount estimated. I have been in the construction industry for 20+ years and can tell you from personal experience, contractors and employees of this calliber are hard to come by these days. Honest, fair, knowegeble, personable and professional is not a common combination (unfortunately) of qualities in most industries these days. I feel fortunate to have found a Sewer/Plumbing service that displayed all of these qualities, and I will not hesitate to use them agian and/or refer to others. Thank you! read more

Had a terrific experience. I unclogged an upstairs shower drain on my own and some of the contents went down the pipes. That debris ultimately ended up farther down the lines and created a new clog deeper in the house. This caused a flood downstairs as water backed up from kitchen. Time for the Pros. I called Roy's first thing in the morning and their front office answered the phone and had a two man team on site within a few hours. They identified where the clog occurred and cleared the lines with their equipment. Heavy grease and debris buildup. The price was fair and they fixed my problem within an hour - and provided me some easy preventative maintenance tips. This is the second time Roy's team has been out to my place and both experiences were professional and positive. read more

The kitchen sink backed up. Another plumber spent two hours fixing the pipes. When he left, the sink was still blocked and the trap leaked. Curtis from Roy's came the next day, analysed the problem, spent about ten minutes on the roof and fixed the plugged sewer line. In about fifteen minutes he replaced the work from the previous plumber and all is well. The serious estimate from the first guy to fix those things involved replacing all interior drains for $14000. I called RSS and was offered a same day appointment as all 3 toilets were draining very very slowly . Ian ran some diagnostics and immediately identified the issue as originating from the outside the house. He was able to navigate the external drain system with ease using the mechanical "snake"and in about 15 minutes removed a piece of detritus the size of Montana!! Success!! very similar experience to others noted here. had them come out for a slow draining toilet and the…read moreguy looked at it and said "it's draining slow". he had zero idea why and made no effort to figure it out. then his manager came and they looked under the house and gave me the whole "this is a dire situation and it will cost over $20k" story. same line about recalled pipes... etc. Hopefully people get a second opinion from a trustworthy source. I ended up hiring another plumber who figured out my issue in under a minute, gave the estimate, answered my questions and job was done a week later.
