Avoid at all costs. My mother brought my father's and my suits to this place, only for them to lose it. When my mother informed them of this, the owners and staff became verbally aggressive towards her, accusing her of losing the items instead. They refuse to accept responsibility and provide any form of compensation or apology to my mother or our family. On top of losing our suits, the stuff we did receive back wasn't dry cleaned properly, with new stains and marks that weren't there before. In a time where people are trying to support small businesses, it is disappointing these vultures are preying on vulnerable customers trying to support them. strongly advise against bringing your dry cleaning here. I brought in my mother's Saint John dress, a special gift I gave her, to Royal Valet for a simple dry cleaning. Saint John is not a cheap brand, so I expected it to be handled with care. But when we went back two weeks later to pick it up, we were shocked to find that the dress was noticeably shorter. They had clearly cut off a significant portion from the bottom, and now my mother can't even wear the dress. What's worse is that when I brought this to their attention, both the staff and the owner, Mr. Kim, refused to admit any wrongdoing. They insisted I was mistaken, which was infuriating. My family has been going to Royal Valet for over 20 years, but this is the second major issue we've had with them. The first time, my father left some shirts to be dry cleaned, and when he went to pick them up, they gave him someone else's clothes. When he pointed out the mistake, the staff did absolutely nothing to help him, and he left without his actual clothes. It's unbelievable how a business can make such careless mistakes and then not even try to fix them. I'm deeply disappointed with how they've handled these situations. I used to drop off shirts and suits at Royal Valet every week pre-covid. Now it's not a regular thing but at least every 2 or 3 weeks. It appears I have way more suits and dress shirts than I need in a post-covid, teams, zoom, work from home some of the time, environment. But when I have stuff to get cleaned I always go to Royal Valet, even though it is not the closest dry cleaners to my house, it is the best. I don't compare prices but I am sure they are comparable with the other local places, but the service, friendliness and hours can't be beat. read more

A+. I don't have a lot of dry cleaning needs, but attended a wedding last weekend and needed two wedding guest outfits cleaned and a suit, on a tight timeline and they did a magnificent job! I brought my clothes here, because one person said "Oh they're quite good." One of my dresses had very intricate beadwork that I worried about, and they were incredibly careful with it. ALSO, I was late picking up, and the owner went well above and beyond anything I could have hoped for, and stayed open for me to retrieve my clothes on a Saturday night a few minutes after closing. STAY FAR AWAY. I was warned -- and I didn't listen. Don't make that mistake. I wanted to love this place. I saw the bad reviews, but it was convenient and the people were very pleasant. They offered to take the clothes to my car, even though I didn't need it. $1.70 per shirt seemed worth it. Now I know better. 3 weeks ago, 5 of my shirts came back with grease stains that weren't there before. All of the stains looked the same -- much too similar for it to be something I did. All of them were on the front of the shirts. I'd really like to give them the benefit of the doubt, but it's impossible. They did this. I explained this, and I let them try to fix it. Again. And again. Finally, when the stains didn't come out, I decided to complain (which I never do). The manager explained to me not only that it wasn't their fault, but that the stains WEREN'T EVEN THERE. He looked me in the eye and noted that he was wearing glasses. The stains were very much there. He barely looked. I have spent more than $2,000 at this dry-cleaner. I'm upset because no other dry-cleaner will be anywhere close to as convenient from where I live. But they earned this review. I understand why they can't give in to everyone, but this is ridiculous. I have been using Royal Valet for 20 years and it is a first rate cleaners. Clean clothes with daily service: you drop clothes by 10:00 AM the clothes will be ready by 5:00 PM, no extra charge. Weekly Royal Valet cleans my shirts, suits, slacks, my wife's dresses, suits, slacks, and blouses. The clothes are clean every time. Royal cleans my sweat soiled white shirt collars and my shirts look pristine. At drop off you point out you have stains like my shirt neck collars, stains, missing buttons, or tears you know about, tell them so the can be marked and get extra attention. Repairs are extra. They do good work putting hems in pants and altering suits. The owners Mr and Mrs Kim are friendly and attentive. I have never observed anyone complain about anything. They have never lost one item or damaged one item. I continue to use Royal Valet, I am picking up clothes today. Try it for yourself. read more

Update: The shirts came back nice and clean. My only gripe (and it's small) is that on a couple shirts the little paper tag they staple through the button hole was stapled through the shirt. Original: I've used them once so far to get some dry cleaning done for suits and sport coats. The job was done well, no missing buttons, etc. I've dropped off some shirts and will update once I see how well they do that. When I had mentioned picking up the next day, I didn't notice until later that it said after 5. I called back to see if they could have it ready sooner due to my schedule and they were more than accommodating, making sure it was ready the same day. Very courteous and nice to deal with. Can't really complain about this place. My clothes come back looking like new and nicely ironed as I would expect. They've never lost anything of mine so thats cool. I feel like it could be cheaper but maybe im not used to dry cleaning prices? Regarding your general day to day items, they are another level above the other local Dry Cleaners, especially Zips.
