Out of all…read morethe nearby laundromats, I chose to go to this one based on the reviews, and I was not disappointed. It's cleaner than the other one I inspected. Here, they always have someone ready to clean up any mess. I mean, sometimes, there may be some lint or drops of water on the ground, but they'll clean it up within 30 min. or so that I've noticed. The inside of the washers and dryers are close to always clean and almost always smell freshly cleaned. They had people cleaning the insides of the machines every day that I went. The washers cost $3.50ish to $8.50ish depending on the size you use. The medium and large dryers are each $1 to use, but last for only about 20 min. so you may have to dry your clothes again, depending on how much you're drying. It's not bad. You'll need a Stars Laundromat card to pay to use the machines. You can reload your card with cash or Debit/Credit Card. This place is across Planet Fitness and to the left of the corner mart.

My experience today was bad and I don't think I wanna come back here. I put my clothes in the washer, sat in my car, then put it in the dryer. I left out again, came back to check the dryer but I reeeaaally had to use the restroom. I asked the attendant if there was a restroom and she straight up said no. I asked again because i thing it was weird to not have one in an establishments like this. She Said No again. I went to check on my clothes again and I could tell that I Was a customer there. I set back Down and then she said there Was a restroom. Saying no vs for customers are TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. One can comenof préjudice while the other is simply the policy of the establishments . I used a 40lb washer and dryer, for clothes that would be 2 loads in at-home washer dryer. The washer was 5 dollars for 30min, and I used the dryer for 28min which costed a dollar. They both worked really good. The dryer could have used another quarter for certain items like a small blanket but I was too lazy to wait any longer. Overall, good working machines at a reasonable price, spacious and clean laundromat....nothing to complain!

During my visit today, I loaded two large-capacity washers, added the appropriate amount of detergent according to the detergent instructions, selected the warm water setting, and started the machines as usual. When the cycles were complete, I immediately noticed that many of the clothes still smelled unwashed and felt as though detergent and soil had not been fully rinsed away. Some items were only damp, some were extremely wet, and others felt almost dry, as though they had not been washed properly. The clothing also retained the same odor it had before being washed. I brought my concerns to the attendant. She checked the washer briefly and stated that because the clothes were wet, the machine had washed them. However, my concern was not whether water had touched the clothing, but that the wash cycle did not appear to clean the clothes properly. I was left with no option but to move everything into another washer and pay to wash all of my laundry a second time. As a result, I spent approximately double what I normally spend on laundry. I was disappointed that there was no attempt to investigate whether the machine malfunctioned or to offer any assistance, reimbursement, or courtesy rewash despite my being a long-time customer. I understand that equipment issues can happen. My frustration comes from having to pay twice to wash the same load and feeling that my concerns were dismissed rather than addressed. I hope management will review the condition and performance of the machines so that other customers do not experience the same problem.

There are three women and one man who work there, and they are always respectful, kind, and willing to help customers whenever needed. They create a welcoming and comfortable environment for everyone. Another thing I truly appreciate is how clean the laundromat is. Every time I visit, I see the staff paying attention to the space and cleaning whenever they notice trash or dirt on the floor. It's clear they really care about keeping the place clean and pleasant for customers. They also have plenty of washing machines and dryers with different load sizes and price options, which makes it very convenient no matter how much laundry you have. The seating area is great too -- there are comfortable chairs and tables where you can sit, relax, and fold your clothes while waiting. He continued that in this class we would learn about supply/demand curves, calculating present value analysis, and Game Theory. But before all that, he said, if there was nothing else that we left his class with it was this basic truism: "The majority of financial decisions you make in life, can be simplified into trading your time for money." Sounds simple enough, and as a somewhat know-it-all 18 yr old, I thought my prof was full of crap, but now I see how accurate that statement was. Should I take a few extra minutes the night before to prep my food to brown bag lunch or spend $10-$15 eating out? Spend 1-2 hours mowing my lawn, bagging my yard clippings, and collecting leaves - or - spend $100-$200/month on a lawn service. Use my 10 yr old Mr. Coffee machine and a bag of Kirkland brand coffee or make a Starbucks run in the morning? Or as referenced in this review, spend 1-2 hours during the weekend to wash and iron my "work clothes," or use a dry cleaner? Pre-Pandemic, I would schlep into my office 4 days a week in downtown DC and 10 months out of the year, I had to either wear a shirt/tie or a suit. Not that I minded that, but I HATED having to wash and press my own shirts. Dress slacks are easy...men's shirts are a pain. You gotta remember to pre-treat the the collar, and no matter how much starch I sprayed or times I went over a section of the sleeve, the garment would still be a bit "wrinkly." I started using Sandy's Cleaners around 2017 and have a loyal customer ever since. Small local family owned business, and believe it or not, all of the garments are actually cleaned there ON-SITE!!! Most dry cleaners actually send their clothes out to an off-site facility where they are bulk cleaned. Not at Sandy's. There is a plant on the premises, and the friendly folks have always done a great job with my professional wardrobe. What I especially like, is if there is a particularly challenging stain, they will examine said stain and let you know if it can be removed or not. 9 times of out 10, they've been able to get out that errant coffee drip or ketchup splatter on my shirt...but if they can't, they let me know ahead of time. Now that I'm back in my office 2-3 days a week, I find myself dropping stuff off here again on a weekly basis; which is not a big deal since this is just a short detour from my weekly COSTCO run which is 5 min away. Could I go back to laundering and pressing my own shirts at home...sure, but why would I want to "waste" a perfectly good Sunday evening doing this chore when I can outsource it for a reasonable fee? Admittedly, my professor's "advice" was his take on the old "time is money" adage, but his words have held much value as I've progressed through life. Note: Sandy's only accepts cash and personal check. As of this review, men's shirts are $1.85 which is also cheaper than most other places.

I paid $27 for about 18lbs and an extra $3 to have them wash my whites, reds, and colors separately. Dropped off at 4pm yesterday and picked up around 1pm the next day. I will be using this service at least once a month (:
