Please be mindful of reviews from over a year ago. Same name but different ownership and very different experiences!! I only gave it another chance because a friend suggested they were better now. I had a classic pedicure and dip manicure. The pedicure was gentle enough I was comfortable enough but she put the effort into the trouble areas. Provided a drink and comfy, operating massage chair. The leg massage was just what I needed! The dip manicure was very well done. Someone complimented my nails yesterday and it's been 2 weeks since I had them done! I wish I could give this place zero stars! I went for a polish change and thank goodness I brought my own sandals because this place RECYCLES the flip flops that people leave behind. That's disgusting, unsanitary, and CHEAP! Speaking of cheap.. the owners actually put rubber bands under the sanitizer nozzle to keep people from getting a full pump of hand sanitizer. PETTY! The nail polishes are watered down and leaves streaks on your nails and feet because they keep adding thinner to the polish to stretch it out. Not worth it. I've been going here for several years and the entire staff is like family. I'm always happy with my nails.

I was pleased at first.. but after really looking at my nail they did not push my cuticle back and give a decent manicure. Because if that I have a lot of growth look in a week due to not get a decent manicure.. not a complete two weeks one pops off.. I didn't spend $97 dollar for them to fall off in two weeks. So I'm very disappointed. Maybe I'm being petty but I have had my nail done before with gel and they last a lot longer. These were dip powder.. so not sure if I should judge the powder dip by this experience.. I return to the shop for the man at the front door tell me that's normal. Would love others opinion of how long their nails last. Gel and powder. They are very nice and I agree with the owner that I should of called the next day but I have a very busy life. I'm not mad and will try them again but will look at them closer before I pay. read more

Anyway little to no care is given in the short pedicure time and they are rough and made a few cuticles bleed. I've been going to Royal Nails since 2008 and I've never ever had bad service not one single time. I read one review where they said that they were "too fast". Well I like the fact I can go get my nails done whether it's just a fill in or a full set I'm gonna be out of there with nails completely dry within 30 to 35 minutes. This is the worst nail shop I've ever been to. The inside is nice and the nail technician are friendly. Which almost make you overlook the inexperience nail technicians. Only two people women in the shop are knowledgeable on the services they provide. That's the manager and one nail tech. I went in for a simple gel removal and a overlay on my original nail. Only to leave with three of my nails badly broken and the manager tell me she can fix it by adding fake nails. That's was so unacceptable if I wanted fake nail I would came in a told them to cut all my nails and fake one. I've been twice and BOTH times my nails were atrocious. The second and most recent time, i went for my birthday. They weren't correctly drilled around my cuticles, the polish wasn't even covering my full nails, they are PAPER thin and they nail tips weren't correctly glued down leaving a gap between my actual nail and the fake nail. The day after one nail chipped cause there wasn't enough acrylic where the nail tip was applied. Then the next day half of the acrylic chipped off another one. Because I work 9-6 in West Memphis I wasn't able to go back immediately. Well apparently you have two days to go back to have something fixed. And if you try and call and talk to them about it, they'll just cuss at you and get mad that 'people want us to fix their fuck ups for free.' Oh, I'm so sorry I didn't apply enough acrylic or make sure the nail was buffed enough for the acrylic to stick to my nail, I'll do a better job next time.. WAIT. THIS WASN'T MY MISTAKE. I AM NOT THE NAIL TECH. I'm beyond disappointed and will NOT return to such a rude and ugly shop. I can not believe the manager actually thinks it's okay to speak to people like that.. I wouldn't recommend this nail shop to ANYBODY. Buyers beware and don't waste your time or money!! 2.5 stars just isn't acceptable. I should have checked reviews first. read more

The nail shop is beautiful here and very classy. They are very polite when you walk in. The place has a strong nail polish odor. You have to ask for the prices when you come. No one from Yelp has really seen the place before. The have 5 nail stations and 5 pedi stations to. There is a separate nail drying station area where you walk in. I have been to this nail shop close to 100 times I'm sure and I've always asked for Lisa.. these past few times I've had her have been awful. My pedicure took 10 mins and dip powder 10... (pedicure and dip usually takes an hour and a half or close to it) every single one of my toenail shapes are botched and she didn't paint the whole nail on any of them... and i didn't even end up really getting a pedicure- she put my feet in the water, took them out, and put a hot towel on them. AND with my dip nails, she "sealed" with gel- which is NOT the correct way to do it (there is a step four sealant) even though she insisted it was. My nails were gooey for days and they changed colors and after 4 days they started peeling/rolling off like gel does after a few weeks. $68 for a rushed half done job and i will not be going back. read more

Lisa is usually the person to ask for when getting acrylics. I had been coming here for at least 6 years. Over the last year my visits slowed until they have now become non-existent. Lisa is now sloppy. She no longer takes her time. She's not thoroughly polishing nails. And the pedicures are too quick to be relaxing. It could be due to high demand of her but in that case she should work by appointment only so she can take her time with her clients. I also started to notice that my price was never consistent. I always got the same thing. A full set. And my daughter would always get a full set coffin shaped. One week her charges would be $28 and the next visit they'd be $32. Then when asked why the price change they would always say because of length. Well hell they the same length as they were the last time. And then on my last time visiting, I asked for an overlay and they didn't even know what it was. Being a cosmetologist, I had to explain that it's getting acrylic nails without getting nail tips glued on. She was like oh we don't do those. Why not? Oh well. We stopped going. read more
