The nail is crooked , she was rushing, she filed them too much now it's slanted, they didn't have the correct colors, and is a 20$ up charge from frenchies, the nail isn't fully cured below, and is clearly rushed I do not suggest going how unless you want a not so good outcome. read more

I'm from out of town and wanted a nice place to get my toes done, I read some of the reviews and decided to give this place a chance. I walked in and was greeted right away and seated in a chair and offered a drink. I thought the gentleman did a fantastic job, with my toes he wasn't to aggressive and shaped them up nicely. Immediately you're soothed with this calming beautiful music playing in the background & they soak your nails in heated bowls which was new for me! If I could give 0 stars I would. The older lady can not paint your nails evenly. I asked for my favorite color in gel for my nails and the regular polish for my toes. she tried to paint my toes with another color. I told her that the color was not the same and she lied and said it was. I asked to see the bottle and it was Not the color I requested. I had to get up and get the correct color off the wall. My nails looked like a 1st grader painted them. Majority of my nails chipped or broke within a few days. I went back to them to correct them and they were rude and said I broke my nails. I am so disappointed in my service at this shop. The buff guy originally started on my nails. I told him several times that I wanted my nails to be narrow and he never said anything. I had to ask him "Did you hear what I said". Yet he still applied my acrylic on very wide. I also told him I wanted the same shape that I came in with and he assured me that he could do the shape but that was a lie. He had to call another lady over to do my nails. Although she was really sweet, she did a terrible job with shaping and painting my nails. She knew it was completely not what I wanted or asked for but she thought it was soo funny for some weird reason. I had been there for 2 1/2 hours and she decided she wanted to redo my nails. This place is the BEST!!! Seriously, I don't know why there are so many negative reviews on here?! Which is why I'm giving Happy Nails Bar 5 STARS! I only have positive things to say about this place! It took me a looong time to find a nail salon I liked in Millington because I only ever get gel or "shellac" manicures or pedicures and honestly the other places I visited, the gel was never done correctly, and began to peel off fairly quickly. Now, I can't review on their acrylic nails because I honestly haven't had acrylic nails since like prom, but for gel, this place is the BEST!!! Like seriously my manicures look good after several weeks and I constantly wash my hands and don't use a dishwasher, yes, I hand wash dishes. Previously my go to nail salon was Envy Nail Bar off Poplar and if you've ever been there, you know they are awesome. This was my first visit. When I arrived I was greeted immediately. The music was relaxing and the chair was comfortable. I enjoyed my pedicure. It was the most relaxing pedicure that I have had in a very long time. I don't go often because so many nail salons make you feel like cattle being rushed through. This place cant polish nails at all... my nail polish had holes in the polish and streaks.. polishing technique was sooooooo bad i did not want them to fix it a rather pay and get another shop to fix it. The first time I came here was this past June I got a simple gel nail paint color using my real nails instead of fake and got my toes painted. No massages or anything and I paid for $35.00 keep that in mind. Today I came in and asked if anyone knew how to do an ombré gradient effect on my nails and the host said yes and brought out a nail tech. I showed her the picture of how I wanted my nails which was a gel nude color gradient fading into white using my real nails instead of fake. She said she knows how to do this. WRONG!! Most nail techs I've been to use a sponge to get a smooth gradient effect. This woman used an old brush and dabbed and smudged the colors to make a tacky effect. You can even see brush marks throughout all nails. Before she proceeded to my next hand, I told her I don't like it and she cut me off by saying she's not done and that there's more to the process. WRONG!! That's all she did to the nails and on top of that charged me $67.00!!!!! Using my real nails for an awful ombré effect gel coating, and got my toes painted white with NO massage and charged me $67.00!! If you don't know how to do a certain style, don't tell me you know how!!!! I will not be coming back nor recommending this place to anyone! read more

I have been here twice. The first time was great even though they charge $50 for a dip manicure and most places charge $35 for the same thing. The dip lasted almost four weeks so I thought I would go back even though it was pricey. Obviously the girl I got this time was not schooled on dip manicures. She only dipped my nails twice instead of three times and skipped another step or two. Well, after paying $50 they started chipping in 5 days!! What a waste of money!! read more
