    Gel nails

I have been going here for 6 years. I recently spent $125 total, 35 on pedicure and the rest on nails, no idea why it was so high, and most of the nails came off after two weeks. They started popping off early in the first week but I couldn't get back by until now and they refused to do anything because of their policy. I get that it has been more than 24 hours but that many nails coming off in that time period at that price is unacceptable. I will never spend my money or refer another customer there again.

    Look at this mess!

Please African American women don't waste your time and money. The reason why I said AA just sit and watch the difference between you and the rest. The nail services they give are horrible!!! No customer service Very rude If you don't look or smell like money you will get the bullshit ass services. I went in with nice shape square nails but came out with overly file nails. The gel polish was all on my cuticles. After Chico finish buffing my nail he just polish them,... not letting me go to wash my hands. I didn't know he was finished because he just walked away and push the chair to the table which hit my toes.......smh When I realize he was finish, I went to wash my hands and feet. That when I saw him in the back doing nothing then he tell me to have a nice day...... smh You suppose to do that right after you finish your client services. My 3rd time going to this shop and all have been a very bad experience.......that in me Never going back and I know someone else feel the same. Thus review might or might not make it to you all eyes. DO NIT WASTE YOUR TIME & MONDAY AA WOMEN WATCH!! Update look at my thumb nail chip after one day......smh

I recently moved to the Bartlett area and decided to try Kenny's. BIG Mistake, The spa was very unprofessional. They rushed me to a chair after asking me what services I wanted. Never offered me a beverage as advertised. The tech that did my polish change was very short and unfriendly and definitely not experienced. I could have done a much better job. The tech that did my manicure and dip was not very engaging as well. She put the wrong color on my nails. I paid $50 and was not satisfied with her work and definitely not the color. I pointed it out to her. She said sometimes color gets old and polish doesn't match sample. Now I have a warm red on my toes and a hot fuchsia on my hands. I'm thinking about asking them to soak the dip off and replace with shellac. Her nail job was horrible

I've been very loyal to Kenny's for over a year now. I experienced the worst service yesterday. A $65 pedicure that took her all of 15 minutes (Its a 55 minute pedi) and a manicure that left dirt under my nails. When I mentioned how she didn't file my nails she LAUGHED at me, and kept talking about how busy they were. After speaking to the manager, and asking her to wax my eyebrows, the OG pedicure/manicure girl came INTO the room and they were talking about me. While I was sitting right there. When I was finally leaving, they STILL CHARGED ME. Needless to say I will NOT be going back.

    Thumb nail looks terrible

Literally the worst nail experience in the 20 years I've been getting my nails done. First there was a 45 min wait, super understaffed. The lady doing my nails (judy) cut my finger 4 times!!! Never apologized when I would say please be careful. She kept getting up and going around the whole salon and just stopping in the middle of doing my nails. I was suppose to have a polish change on my toes which they forgot and I had to continue to remind theM when they were trying to collect payment. My nails are just plain white, they look like a 5 year old painted them, I was so over it I just wanted to get out of there. They are also quite rude.

This was the worst nail experience that my two daughters and I have ever experienced. Our nails are all unsatisfactory, however the real issue we had was that two of the nail techs hurt us. My 14-year-old daughter had her finger filed to the point where she had blood dripping down her hand, where her fingerprint is!! Accidents happen around the cuticle but this was unacceptable! I made the mistake of paying before the services were completed, after receiving such terrible treatment and my daughter literally sobbing in her chair and in the car after leaving they still would not issue a refund. Even though my own nails and my other daughter's nails don't look great, I would have accepted a partial refund for my oldest's nails, not only do they look like eggs, she was literally traumatized by this tech. Never ever go here!! We are filing complaints with the state board as well!!

I'm so disappointed. I want to take off my acrylic nails right now. And I just left... I have been going to this place for a long time. I had never been charged so much money for this... I asked for acrylic nails, in matt black (which is why they charged me much more) and look what they did to me... Highlighting the part where I have bumps on all my nails and she was hurting my hands all the entire time

So. i was excited for this place actually. Went with one of my best friends and i had never treated myself to an actual manicure. And boy am i upset with my first time. I wanted a simple french tip design with some abstract lines on two of the fingers. Instead of telling me she couldn't do that, she did it and it looked awful. I told her i didn't like it and i didn't say this part but in my head i felt like i shouldn't have to pay for the crap work she put on my nails. So she drilled it off and i got what is pictured and it still looked bad. She rushed it and kept looking around to see what else was going on instead of focusing on my nails. I paid way too much money for this crap job. She didn't even take time to push my cuticles back so now i look like i've had the nails for over a week. Do not waste your money here. The lady's name was Judy who did them and i will never be back.

I understand that everything has different work ethics. I understand that some people can multitask and others can not. I slap understand that some people can't work in silence, they need to talk, listen to music, etc. But if you are interfering with the quality of the work you are completing then stop or find a new line of work where you can "focus less" Today I got a dip powder on my real nails, something I've been doing for years, and this was on of the worst experiences I've ever dealt with. If I could give less than one star I would. My mother, sister and I used to love to go to Kenny's. The quality, environment, and employees USED to be great. Today I came in and the greater sat me down, I picked out my color and waited for my nail tech to sit down and start. His name was Tony or Toni. Not once did he great me or try to engage in conversation with me. He say down, started on my nails, and asked the technician beside him what she was doing later on that night and another employee if he could do his nails after closing. Then he started talking to other employees asking them seemingly random questions, almost if he was just getting satisfaction from hearing himself talk. He then got a phone call, stopped doing my nails, and started taking on the phone. When he continued to do my nails he was doing them distracted. He eventually put his ear-pod in to talk hands free, but still distracted. When he started to sloppily apply the first layer of adhesive, me and the client sitting beside me also getting dip powder exchanged looks of concern. It would be one thing if you were on the phone and still doing your job and being professional, but this man was cursing, talking reckless to his friends, and using inappropriate language about how they were going to put their "coochies" together. It made me uncomfortable. Soon after that conversation he used "Hey Siri" to call someone else and continued to do his job "halfway". Once he started actually applying my color he noticed my concern. He said "I know it's ugly right now, but we gone make it look cute later" -spoiler alert it's still not cute. Once he seemed to be done with the shaping I had to ask him to go back and make my nails smoother. He still did not do that well. He then started to apply the polish to solidify the powder and then touch my nails before it was dry and messed them up. Knowing what he had done he still did not want to fully commit to correcting his error. He filed of the mistake on 2 of the 4 nails he messed up, and then applied a gel top coat. When I still had a problem with it and voiced my concerns he said "you don't like it "after" we put the top coat on" and walked away. I always give a little too much trust to technicians because everyone is different and I don't know their specific processes. So throughout the entire session I had concerns that I thought he saw and I just assumed he was not done fixing everything. He gave me attitude about not liking the work he had done and when I began to compare my nails to his manicure he got upset. I know good and well he would not be happy if the roles were reversed. I asked the greater if she honesty like my nails and she said no. I look at my hands all day and have to be conservative about how I spend my money, so my not leaving feeling cute or even that I got my $40 dollars worth is unacceptable and irritating. I eventually had to get another employee to fix some of his mistakes after Tony through a hissy fit. I can't wait for these nails to be redone by a better salon. Please Do better

Great service and everyone is so nice! It usually takes hour and half for pedi & dip but totally worth it!

With that said, she finished with cuticle oil and made sure that my nails were neat despite not getting the manicure. Those are the two positives. I see others have given them 5 stars and hate to be the one to give lower. But I'd have to lie about our one time experience. I will never return because of these reasons: 1. Whatever kind of normal nail polish they use, it is either a poor quality brand that does not last 3 days on your nails....or they dilute the brand they use and it is very thin with no protective coat applied on top. 2. I left the salon not realizing that one of my legs was not rinsed off from the pedicure. The salt scrub had dried and I didn't feel it until I got in my car and sticky granules went everywhere. 3. My friend got a special "cat eye" metallic manicure with tips and told the technician not to cut her cuticles. I echoed to not cut them to him because he didn't seem to listen. He hurried through the manicure so fast and began to cut the cuticles regardless and made my friends finger bleed immediately and she stopped him. 4. The cost was outrageous for the poor quality of polish, lack of protective coating on the polish, a very low quality pedicure/massage, the drive-through service and ignoring instructions for my friend. Outrageously expensive as they nickel and dime you for every little detail.
