Went here for the first time this past week for a manicure with regular polish. She took off the polish, finally came back n out my hands in cold water bowl ( not warm) , then started on manicure. Did not have a clean tool. Did not push back cuticle first . Just picked up the clippers that were sitting there n barely trimmed cuticles. Probably good since it was used clippers!! Put lotion on my arms and then told me to go wash. No massage!! Painted nails n charged $25!! Place is not clean .. tools not sanitized Will Never go back. DO NOT GO HERE! I have NEVER written a review for a business EVER but this was the worst service. I have been getting my nails done for 20 years. I was in town visiting and went here to get dip on my hands after giving my nails a break for several months. I asked for my cuticles to be cut since they had not been in quite some time. She told me she does not cut cuticles (nor did she soak or shape the nails) until after dip. I should have listened to my gut and asked for them to be cut first, but gave her the benefit of the doubt because she said she's been doing nails for 25 years. As a result, my nail shape is uneven and some of the nails have space in between the dip and cuticle from the cuticle being cut afterwards; some of the nails have dip all the way up on the cuticle, and some of the nails the dip is already catching on things after only 3 days. I told her I was frustrated with how they looked and it was excuses and "this is how I've always done it." Such a waste of money and time. read more

First time trying this place yesterday and I will definitely be back!! The business was very clean and the staff there were super friendly! I asked for Halloween themed acrylics and they got super excited and said they loved doing spooky nail art. Tammy was the one who worked on my nails and she did a great job and was super time efficient. Visiting from out of town, my sister recommended this place. I was lucky enough to grab a last minute walk in spot with Rose. She rescued me from my half chipped gel manicure, with speedy and efficient and even helped me with a rogue thumbnail that was jagged and broken by using a little acrylic nail powder. Pedicure was the worst I have gotten. Filed my nails with electric file, to the point they hurt. Gel paint was put on sloppy. Pedicure chair was not clean. Floors was filthy. Went there to get my nails done right before Christmas last year. I called in to get an appointment. When I got here still had to wait 30 minutes. He lady got my nails done too quick and did a bad job. She did a bad job getting the cuticles from my fingers and toes. And in less than a week my finger nail GEL polish started to peel. I got there with 4 nails peeling, they just fixed one and it wasn't even the right color. I was very disappointed at that point I just wanted to get out of there. Never coming back there. read more

Not a huge fan. I have no idea who did my nails because he did not offer his name. I will say that this particular tech handled my toes as if they aren't attached to my body. To add to it, he sloshed water all over the place. Each time I raised my pant legs to avoid the water the more it encouraged him to continue. Further more my pedicure chair did not function fully, so the pedicure was quite uncomfortable as I was too tall for the chair. Overall I wouldn't recommend anyone to come here to relax. Not the most organized with appointments, BUT great with nails. I read some of the bad reviews and was hesitant to try Royal Nails. I've now gone there since Oct 2019 and have always had a very good gel manicure. I've had issues at other places with peeling and chipping 1-3 days post manicure and this doesn't happen at all here. Horrible place!! My advice would be go somewhere else. I went for a gel fill. I was the only customer so got immediately. It was 11am on a Friday. But the woman who did my nails was extremely rude and abrasive. She also filed both thumb nails until they bled. Said oops sorry and then pulled out some neosporin to dab on. I haven't had a pedi in a LONG TIME because my foot has been in a boot forever from an injury last winter. I actually felt guilty going in because while I keep my nails nice and trimmed, I know they are a train wreck! I decided to give Royal Nails a shot because I needed to do some shopping at Target across the street and there was a Starbucks a few doors down (judge me if you want, but sipping an iced tea while getting my pedi was pretty delightful). I was a little nervous based on the mixed reviews on Yelp but honestly, I am pretty happy with my pedicure. I got seated right away and the lady doing my toes was very friendly but didn't talk too much, which I appreciated. I chose the middle pedicure package which including a really nice foot/leg scrub and a clay treatment with hot towels. It was pretty fabulous and it was nice to feel pampered especially while relaxing in their new massage chairs. The price was fair at $35 and they accept credit cards which is an added bonus. I like the color because it's perfect for summer and I was in and out within 40 minutes. I can't speak to what their manicures are like but I will definitely come back for a pedicure! read more

They do a good job on pedicures but terrible for dip manicures. First, they don't have tester colors done, so picking a color from the powder is difficult to tell what the final result will look like. My first manicure I chose what looked like a nice medium pink, but turned out hot pink and glittery. The manicure was also uneven, but I lived with it for two weeks before going back for a new manicure. The second time I chose a pink and white French manicure. The manicurist started by soaking my glitter dip off, but resorted to prying it off (something I later learned is a no-no) to speed up the process to get to walk-ins even though I'd made an appointment. I was pleased with how the final French manicure looked. But after 3 days two of them had cracked. I went back and they fixed them free of charge. During my fix, some of the powder spilled on the table and the manicurist scooped the powder back into the pot which seemed unsanitary, but also likely contaminated the whole pot with the dust from my filed nails and whatever other debris was on the table. Days later one that had fixed cracked and a chunk fell off, followed by 3 others within days and others are lifting at the edges. A manicure that should have lasted me more than two weeks is now complete junk just a little over a week later. If you decide to go here avoid the dip manicure, they don't seem to know what they're doing. read more

She gave me a French tip gel manicure that looked very nice! I was pleased with the service and treatment I received. Prices were in line with what I've paid for this elsewhere. Don't bother making an appointment here. Not necessarily saying to not go here, they do a fine job, but making an appointment is useless. Every time you call they will always tell you they have availability at the time you ask for and then make you sit for sometimes up to 30 minutes past your apt time before they see you. I walked in this place first time. I got a pedicure. The people who worked hear were very nice. The only thing was the guy who did my pedicure, he cut my toes. When the guy cut my toes he did not cut my nails but ripped off a some of of my big toe nail. It hurt even after. I said it hurts," he said," I cut in grown toe nail". Ask before you do that next time. My toe hurt day after. I am never going back. He cause me to bleed alittle not even caring. The woman doing my nails was on her phone the entire time. She got lots of nail Polish random places on my fingers nowhere near the nail and clipped it off. She frequently cut too deep and did not listen when I asked her to stop (likely because she was on the phone) the "massage" at the end was extremely painful, she used her nails to dig into my skin and left red marks which are still present now (about 10 minutes later) as well as had many rings on. She used one hand only for everything, or had the phone held to her ear and only could use one hand effectively. It was an awful experience and I will never go back here. read more
