UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP This has been my go-to for fantastic fish and chips for years now. Ramiro, who has been serving up crunchy, perfectly battered fish & chips for decades retired when the restaurant was sold. In August new owners took over. I spoke to them in their first week when I was there with my mom- we are regulars. They were very nice. We begged them to not change the fish and chips. They assured us they weren't going to change anything. Mid September, my mom and I went again. The menu had been updated with price increases of around $2.00 across the board. Fine- I get it. New owners, lots of expenses. But when we got our food- the fish was thinner and smaller, and the portions were much less generous. They didn't change the recipe- just everything else. . . We gave it another chance last week. Same small, thin pieces of fish in smaller portions, at a higher price. We were so disappointed. I had hoped the new owners would be there so we could give them some feedback, but they were not. So I'll leave my suggestion here in case they see it. Smaller fish and stingy portions won't keep your regulars coming back. Time to find a new fish and chips shop. So sad. read more

I've eaten here a few times. It's an average sized restaurant on the inside. Nothing to write home about. There are a usually a few people working so service here is usually quick, even when they deliver. The portion sizes are large, you can have definitely have food for 2 days. (Pro tip: if you have an air fryer you can reheat and it will taste fine) Prices are reasonable here for the amount of food you get. I ordered chicken and chips, tenders and fries and 2 orders of fish and chips for a small family birthday party. The fish I was told was fine, but everyone said the fries were old and over cooked on all meals. I had the chicken and it was dry, oily and overly breaded, which unfortunately happens too often here. I was told the chicken tenders tasted old and dry as well. I'm not sure I will continue to order food here for myself, since for me I don't eat a lot of fish and the kitchen hasn't really been good for me. read more

This has got to be the WORST Fish & Chips place I've ever eaten at. I ordered Fried Clams only to get clam strips that were so well done it was like fried rubber bands. First time coming here and as soon as you walk into this establishment, you can smell the crispiness in the air. They have a lot of options to choose from, but i stuck with their authentic fish and chips, and i also ordered their soft shell crab. Very disappointing. While the portion sizes were good, the batter was undercooked inside though crispy on the outside. Chips were "french fries" - skinny like McDonalds - not right. While i can't blame them for failed air-conditioning so it was unbearably hot, the place was quite frankly disgustingly dirty. A request to have the one outside table cleared and cleaned - it was filthy - was ignored. We also had a clam chowder and calamari for less than $25 total. I wouldn't re-order the calamari but my fiancé was happy with the flavor of the clam chowder. The two piece haddock meal was more than enough for two even before our sides. Very generous pieces and perfectly flakey on the inside. The coleslaw looks like it going to be mayo-y when you look at it but it actually light, crunchy, and had a good acidity level. Really balanced out the fish. Ordered two haddock + chips, 21 shrimp basket and onion rings for takeout. Even after a 20 minute drive home, AMAZING. Everything was crispy and cooked perfectly. Haddock was especially meaty, and it's two full fish filets, so actually more than 2 pieces per order. We shared this between 2 adults and a tween and ended up making 2 meals out of all the food - and for less than $35. If our seafood hating tween actually enjoyed it, you know it's good. If you leave them all sealed, you will have a soggy but hot meal when you finally get home. I'd rather eat a crispy room temperature meal rather than a soggy, piping hot one. If you are curious about the empanadas (a bargain at $2 -- just double the South America price!), they are Colombian style, with deep fried cornmeal crust).
