My go to spot for Indian food. I really enjoy the chicken tikka masala, paneer anything, water. We also tried these nepalian dumplings and I loved them. I just have a good time here. The service is good as they bring you food simple as that. No need for some fake laughs, just put the food down! Ambiance is what it is but overall I have been like 8 times at this point?

Friendly staff, excellent tasting food, quick service, and very relaxing environment with good Indian music. The space was simple and laid back. Wish the naan bread was larger in size but they made up for it with good rice portions. Chicken tandoori was good and the servicer was very kind and patience with us.

Great food here! Service was spot on. Restaurant could be a bit cleaner but it is what it is. Food is worth it!

We've been a few times to Royal Everest and are glad to have a good Indian spot locally. The appetizers are good and we love the different varieties of Naan. Our go to are the chicken curry masala and butter chicken. Delicious!

Absolutely lovely addition to Burien! I arrived shortly after opening on a Saturday and was promptly greeted. Our server spoke very, very softly, but thankfully we were the only ones in the restaurant. On a busy evening I'd really struggle to hear him. I like that they took the guess work out of the spice level and explicitly state that it's Americanized. I opted for some veggie kofta, 4 stars. I wish I went with a 5, when they say Americanized they're not kidding! Garlic naan, of course, which was overall quite good. My dining partner is new to Indian cuisine and went with the chicken tikka masala, which was well received. They brought out a single plate of rice and let us know they'd be happy to bring more when needed. I washed it all down with a mango lemonade, which was delightful! While I was here 5 or 6 other people came in for pick up, all Caucasian, though they already straight up tell you it's Americanized and not authentic, so I suppose I'm not surprised. Overall I enjoyed my lunch, plenty of leftovers and I got my money worth, and I'd happily eat here again.

Wow. I was new to Indian food, and while visiting my daughter and her BF, I, my BFF and "the kids" went to this amazing place. Delicious food. Tandoori Chicken, Coconut Curry Chicken (my fave), and other things I cannot remember the names of. I have had store-bought Naan many times, but their homemade Garlic Naan is heavenly. Fluffy with a little bit of crunch. SO delicious! For dessert, I got some gorgeous Chai Milk Tea and Rice Pudding, which is not like any I've had before. Their Rice Pudding is a but thinner, with pistachios and raisins. I absolutely went nuts over it. We all did! The wait staff was very friendly. I can see why my daughter and her boyfriend are in love with the place!

    49. Tikka Masala (chicken) - 2/5 stars [unappealing pinkish color (likely from dye), tad too sweet, not creamy enough]

Service is very attentive. Food was just okay in my opinion but the people beside me kept raving about how this place is the best in Burien. If you have an itch for nepalese/indian food this place will certainly scratch that itch; but better can be found if you're willing to drive to the Eastside. (My current preference is Turmeric Kitchen).

Really pleased with our (party of two) first experience at this restaurant! We happened to be in the area, and in the mood for this type of cuisine, and Yelp led us here. The Tikka Masala (chicken) and Jalfrezi (fish) were both tasty, and the Garlic Naan was very good accompaniment. Our friendly and attentive server, Mohammad, brought us some more White Basmati Rice, just when we needed ( the original serving size was on the small side for two). We might try the Non-Vegetarian Dinner for Two next time. There will definitely be a next time. It was not hard to find nearby parking, despite the bustling dinner scene on this Burien street. We will be back to Burien too. Lots of interesting-looking eateries there.

The BEST Indian food in Burien and Normandy park and Des Moines! Not just Indian food, also Himalayan They don't deliver but Uber eats will get you the food. The restaurant is very basic and no thrills but nice service. I wish they would up their game there but it's fine. I'll add some photos next time I eat there or order.

We ordered 3 curries (Nepalis goat curry, butter chicken, and paneer), tandori chicken and 1 garlic naan, which was over $90 after tax and tips. We went for dinner on a weekend. The inside is dimly lit and felt a bit dirty. It wasn't busy, and there seems to only be one waiter working. She was friendly, and came to check on us a couple times.

The interior of the restaurant was very unique and different than any other restaurant we've been to. The server gave us a few minutes to look over the menu and came back and recommended many different dishes to us. He also asked us what our spice tolerance was and used that to give more specialized recommendations. We ordered a chicken curry dish that he said was the chef's specialty, a chicken dish that came on a hot plate, and garlic naan. The flavors were very great and we were happy with the portion size. We thought they could have given a bit more sauce with the curry since the dish they used to serve it seemed a little small but the amount of chicken in there was great. The dishes also came with rice which was nice. We'll definitely be back in the future to try out more of their menu. At the end of our meal, the chef even came out and asked us if we liked the food. The garlic naan was also very yummy. We enjoyed our time there!

We tried their chicken momocha, steamed dumplings, 6 pieces for $13. Unfortunately, they were only lukewarm. They had a long line; I suspect the dumplings are not getting reheated for long enough. I know they are all fully-cooked/steamed and brought here to be warmed and served, so I wasn't concerned about food poisoning. Each momo is well stuffed, densely packed and meaty (much better than the momo food truck in Tulalip) with a pleasantly thin skin. Overall quality of the momo is in fact very good. We are only disappointed that they are lukewarm. The medium sauce is excellent. The pop-up menu has less options compared to the physical restaurant and cost more. The same chicken momocha, steamed dumplings cost $14.95 for 10 pieces if the online menu is accurate. That is a much better price. I still want to try their pan-fried version. Those look good.

But Indian-Nepali Kitchen is one of Seattle's most sought-after spots for affordable eats. But don't sleep on the rest of INK's broad menu of South Asian fare -- The Infatuation magazine even considers it to be one of the best restaurants in the city, full stop. INK shares a strip mall with a bodega and nail salon. Black cushioned chairs are pressed up to lacquered wood tables, and the tan walls are decorated with an assortment of cultural tchotchkes. Bollywood music videos play on the main dining room's single flatscreen, while images of Nepali mountain ranges flash on the screen in the accessory dining room. My partner and I dined at INK for weekday dinner on our drive up to the North Cascades, and we had the dining room to ourselves. Only a handful of takeout patrons rolled through during our visit. We kicked off our meal with the Mixed Appetizer. The Vegetable Pakora component was a consensus hit. The rich, crispy bites functioned well on their own and were fun conduits for the fragrant mint sauce and the tart tamarind sauce. In comparison, the samosas were forgettable, sporting overwhelmingly thick shells and hit-or-miss fillings. Of the three varieties, only the earthy ground lamb was worth finishing. Next, we tried the Combo Momo platter. Admittedly, the signature momos were surprisingly mediocre. Across the varieties, the wonton-like Fried Momo was the clear winner with its exciting texture without overpowering the delicate filling flavor. Meanwhile, the standard steamed momos tasted like something out of the frozen section, the Chili Momos were dominated by fast-food-quality sweet-and-sour sauce, and the Sandheko Momos had an unassuming, generally savory curry flavor (which was far outdone by the tangy side of house chutney). For our entree, we were very impressed by the Butter Curry Lamb. The thick curry broth was vibrant and dynamic; we sipped it by the spoonful. The tough lamb felt like an afterthought. The Garlic Basil Bread wasn't particularly basil-y, but the naan slices were pillowy, flaky, and addictively buttery. To drink, we shared an Iced Chai. The tea was more spiced than sweet; the average Starbucks patron might turn their nose up to it, but the light drink was a welcome contrast to the dense entrees. For dessert, we opted for the Gulab Jamun: the ping pong-sized cheese balls were deceptively dense, each packing a rich, syrupy punch. The service was quick and efficient, and our bill worked out to about $75 (after tax and tip). The flavors topped out at very good, but never quite achieved greatness. The portions were generous -- we probably could have done without the momos and still had a satisfyingly hearty meal. For a no-frills meal that will, at a minimum, be tasty, INK is a safe bet.
