This restaurant is so beautiful. I love the atmosphere, the Nepali music, the feeling of being transported somewhere far away. I have always wanted to go to Everest, and that is honestly how I feel when I sit in this restaurant. Chef Kamal is so kind. He treats you like family, and you can feel the care in everything he does. I don't say this lightly. His food is exceptional. The lamb biryani is deeply aromatic, the Tibetan momos are tender and melt in your mouth with mango and coconut chutney. My favorite is the Kashmiri naan baked in a 600 degree tandoor, and from that same oven comes the sizzling tandoori chicken, juicy, soft, and beautifully marinated with garam masala and cardamom. And the rasmalai, gently soaked in rose scented milk, is just exquisite. If you are ever in Kent, you have to come here. Please support this restaurant and experience it for yourself. I am sorry we didn't snap photos. The food was amazing! We had a table of 5 and enjoyed garlic nan, seafood curry ( which was wonderful! Halibut and shrimp and scallops, chicken tikka Marsala, butter lamb, Baingan Barta ( eggplant), chicken vindaloo. We also enjoyed mango lassi. The atmosphere is wonderful and comfortable. One of the best places to have Indian Curry in Kent! I'm not exactly sure how many times I've been here, but I know quite a few times! My go to curry dish is the brown curry with chicken and super spicy. 5 stars for me! My husband likes to coconut curry, which is good too. Everyone that I have encountered so far: walking in, over the phone and dining in. Are all so very kind and they provide good service! Curry & Kabab is a great addition to Kent! They've been on my radar for awhile and I recently made it in here for dinner. I went with veggie pakora, matar paneer (3 star), and garlic naan. Overall, the food was very good and the spice level was on the American side. The pakora was a little inconsistent and some pieces were salt bombs. Matar paneer was lovely and provided plenty for 2 meals. The naan was also quite good. They don't have a full liquor license but have a small beer selection. Service was friendly and mostly quick. It was a touch on the cold side, but they had a large space heater to help with that. read more

First time trying it and I couldn't stop eating the butter chicken! So rich and delicious. It comes with a lot of sauce which is perfect to dip the garlic naan in. There was a lot of extra sauce after I finished the meat and I still ate every last drop of it. I also got chicken biryani which as others said does not look like other biryanis (the chicken looks like it's coated in crumbled paneer - I think that's what it was). I stopped for lunch at 2:00 PM. It was not buzy. I noticed the huge open space and seating for groups. The aroma in the restaurant gave me hunger pangs. This is a nice quiet atmosphere. I ordered Chicken Masala and a dinner salad, that's all. I was amazed, the salad is huge, fresh and crunchy! It could be a lunch all by itself. For those who don't know, a crunchy table salad is the perfect pairing with Masala and rice. This is Heaven! The chicken Masala was creamy and rich, with chucks of chicken breast just slightly over-cooked, which you should expect an hour after lunch time, still fabulous! I have tried a LOT of Indian food. In the Bay Area there's a plethora of great Indian food available, but none can match Curry and Kebab. Believe me, I've tried to find their equal and still haven't found it. I'm not sure whether it's a blessing or a curse that I don't live in Seattle. I'm sure I would be a very regular customer ay C & K. My hands down favorite is their Butter Chicken. I don't have the words to describe how magnificent this dish is. It is the perfect marriage of all the ingredients to produce this culinary work of art. I also love their Veggie Coconut Curry and their Chicken Tikka Masala. Each one was cooked just as well as the Butter Chicken. Two things I got to try which I've never had before is their saag naan (spinach naan) and pooree, which is deep fried puffy wheat bread. Where have these breads been all my life?! I first visited C & K back in 2017. I thought then that their Butter Chicken was the best I've ever had. I was not disappointed when I came back four years later. It was just as good, if not better, than how I remembered it. Service at each visit, both lunch and dinner, were excellent. We had a large party of 10 for dinner and they were able to easily take care of our group. C & K is located in the corner of a strip mall with adequate parking. read more

You cant say its halal and serve haraam. Halal and haraam dont mix. In addition, the butter chicken is so bad. The rice is so bad. The quality and taste needs major improvements. If you really want good food, nan n curry is authentic with the best chefs. Try to hire experienced chefs who know how to cook and make improvements in the quality of food. I can't express enough on how much I love this place, I've been a regular for the last 12 years, in both the old location and this one. The food is absolutely great with lots of flavor, lots of choices, I recommend a chicken soup and a garlic nan to it, or a Lamb Bryany a beautiful rise dish, pakora or samosa for appetizers. Lots of choices. The service has always been great no question about it, helpful, professional and good at their job. I hovered on 4 stars and settled on 3.5, but Yelp don't do Half stars, so here is the skinny on why the 4 star rating for a 3.5 spot. The food is good, right temp, and service is always excellent. The coconut curry, tandoori chicken, and tika masala - the staples of non-Indian/non-British dinners are good, though they very in taste a little depending who made the base. Meat and meatless choices are broad: chicken, beef, lamb, goat, beef, paneer cheese are all available for most options. The star rating is the only iffy part of the menu. If you get one star spicy and other people get 3 stars, you are not getting a 1 star meal. God forbid someone orders the 5 star version of the same meal. I am a two to 3 star guy and there have been a couple of times that I was surprised by the Their regular, Kashmiri naan, and garlic naan are good, though the Kashmiri is a little too fluffy and falls apart. We had vegetable samosas, saag paneer, chicken tikka masala, Bombay Seafood Curry, a lamb dish, Tandoori chicken, basmati rice, a cauliflower dish, naan and mango ice cream. I don't eat lamb and I can't eat cauliflower. My favorite dishes from our order was the vegetable samosas, tikka masala and the naan. The tandoori chicken I had was a little burnt and I didn't want to try another piece. Everything else I ate was delicious. My husband had the mango lassi and thought it was one of the best he's had. This is our current go-to indian food in Kent/Covington. Good flavor and texture. They don't have what I would call a saag, but what they sell as saag is tasty. Biryani is good, as is the butter chicken. Naan is fairly good. As others have mentioned, not the best indian food around, but we enjoy it and it's close enough to home, we'll continue going here until a new spot catches our business. read more

I tried Curry & Kabab after so many years! And they changed their location across the street. I like this new location because of parking and driving accessibility. I had ordered for pick up and they were quick, courteous and very pleasant. When I went inside, the restaurant was clean and some people were enjoying their dining experience. The food quality is plenty! I think it will last a couple meals and then some more. The food is actually quite tasty too. Everything is fresh and flavorful. Two things to keep in mind, the paneer tikka masala was on the sweeter side and the chili chicken was a little hard. The stars of the meal were Karahi chicken which tasted so home cooked and the malai kofta which was so delicious and perfectly creamy. I might try their other menu items soon! read more

Got delivery- paneer tikka masala, extra spicy with garlic naan. It was quite good; the spice level was appropriate although I could have used one more notch up. The paneer texture was not chewy or rubbery so it was just how I like it. Their white rice comes with shaved carrot and peas which I appreciated. The naan was just m ok.
