We went here for a casual lunch with my in laws. We had a lovely lunch. We ordered mango lassi, chai, chickpea salad, Tikka chicken, bengan bhurta, yellow daal tadka, roiti and naan. All of our food was delicious! The waitress was a bit overly attentive, but that's better than ignoring us. I did order a dessert to go - milk cake. It wasn't that good and was too expensive for what it was. I would definitely come back.

Tried the chicken korma, butter chicken, and goat curry - all flavorful and well-balanced, served with fragrant basmati rice. The bullet naan had a nice kick, and the sweet peshwari naan was a great contrast. The mango lassi was honestly the prettiest I've seen. Tasted homemade too. Inside, the bistro is cozy and charming. Slightly amusing moment: Baby Shark was playing over the speakers... then I noticed the DJ was about 5 years old. Fair enough. Parking is plentiful, but getting into the lot is awkward and the nearby drivers are weirdly aggressive given how close it is to the highway. Still, the food and atmosphere make it worth the trip. Would return for that goat curry!

The restaurant is not clean at all sadly. They had tables that had half eaten plates kept for the entire time we were eating. There were kids that were playing music on full volume on their ipad so much so that we could barely hear us talk. The door at the back was open which made the restaurant very cold. We got chicken 65, paneer kulcha and karhahi chicken which all tasted great but left us extremely bloated. The aaloo tikki chaat was not good at all. Not a good experience at all.

This was the TooGoodToGo they gave, not sure what it is. They provided Naan as well.

Overall 3 stars and I would recommend this place. I first came across this place by trying the Too Good To Go app. And then I ordered there couple of time there after. Their dishes have good flavor, I enjoyed it. However, their portion is small for how much they charge for entree. With that in consideration, I would not call this place affordable for regular dinining. If they either lower their price or give a bigger portion, I would easily give them 4 stars. However, I'd still recommend them if you don't care about affordability. Oh, I don't recommend getting the Lamb Seehk Kabab. They charge $20+ for a really small portion and they're dried, lack flavor.

ToGoodtoGo Lunch Chicken tiki masala? Rice & Naan
    Nancy C.

Did a ToGoodToGo lunch online. Made me a surprise lunch & it was very hot, medium spicy and large portion. It was tiki masala, chicken with an incredible sauce, basmati, rice, and two pieces of Naan. I love Indian food, I've never been to this place, but I'm definitely coming back even if I do have to pay full price

Fish Marsala- sorry I ate some before snapping a pic I was hungry and it was SO hot and delicious.

I can't say enough about this restaurant. The first thing you'll notice when walking in is how clean and neat it is. I've only ever gotten take away but it's always very clean inside. Their food is SOOOOO delicious. I have had a few dishes from here but todays fish Marsala was out of this world. I love this place so much, they are never bothered by my vegetarian / pescatarian requests and questions. The customer service is always very friendly and service in general is always prompt. This is a place I go about 3-5 times a month and will happily support them. Give them a try!

This place is a hidden gem in Kent. One of the best Indian restaurants I have visited. Food is good ambience is good and service is good (not very fast but their food tastes fresh so I am okay with a little wait). Every time I am travelling through Kent I make it a point to stop here and relish a good meal. The other thing I like about this restaurant is that every time I have visited them with a big group or smaller one they always have tables available. We ordered their kebabs, parathas, lamb dishes, butter chicken, mushroom masala, etc and everything tasted great. Flavors were on point. They have a few beer and wine options as well. They also sell a few indian desserts if anyone wants to buy ( i have not tried that yet). Ample parking available outside the restaurant. Overall I like this place and wish they had one closer in Seattle.

Garlic Naan Butter Chicken Tikka Masala Mango Lassi

Back in 2022 this place used the most goated indian places around. top 5 in all of washington by far for sure. but now in 2025 the deep flavorous and rich aroma is gone. now its just filled with garlic. I am generally confuse and absolutely baffle by what had happened. Garlic naan is suppose to be brush with finely mince garlic but you can visible see them. They are no longer brushed but now heavily season. Service is still cool and the place overall nicer tho

Food was delicious. The star was the Garlic Naan which had a nice chew to it. The Aloo Gobi really rocked the flavor. Excellent dish. The mango chicken and Chicken Tikki Masala were good. Prices for these dishes appear standard except for Aloo Gobi which was about 10 dollars more than anywhere else, however it was an outstanding dish! Naan was about a couple dollars higher than norm but it was super delicious!! Service was prompt and friendly

Dish ordered through too good to go. what looks like Bhindi Masala.

Food was excellent. The service was top notch. The owner even came by to see if we needed anything. Ambiance was cozy yet modern and elegant. Didn't need to get dressed up so casual works.

Garlic Naan...a must for Butter Chicken

We wanted to try a new Indian spot and venture out from our usual spots so we found Indian Bistro online. It's a really cute interior, kind of tropical decor with plants, that always wins me over! It was very authentic, our server had a thick Indian accent...I just knew it was going to be good. My husband & kids are big fans of Butter Chicken, that is there go to dish almost every time we eat Indian food, they really enjoyed this dish here. Rich, full of spices & flavorful with tender chunks of Tandoori chicken in a velvety sauce that begs for their crisp yet fluffy naan to be dipped into or ladled over rice. I ordered something very different from my usual order of Tandoori chicken or a lamb curry dish, but it was tasty & I got it with 2 stars so little on the spicy side. Tender chunks of Tandoori chicken stir fried into an Indian fried rice. So good with a squeeze of fresh lime and I took the chicken and wrapped it in the Naan than dipped into the yogurt sauce...so tasty. I can't wait to go back and try one of my usual Indian dishes.

i am very particular about indian food and very rarely try new places because they simply don't live up to my expectations, having lived in india. i just cannot stomach (pun intended) indian food that is not done well but that unknowing innocent people rave about. so there's a lot of trepidation when i hear people i know insisting we have to try someplace. usually i say no politely and pine away for the flavors of the subcontinent that seem rare in this area despite how many east asians live and work here and would obviously want places they could find the flavors of home. i've tried places on the east side, and some have been great, but i've found nothing super close to where i live that i'd return to....until now! last night my friends ordered take out from here and prefaced it by saying they were very curious whether they were right on the mark when they thought this place was good. they showed me the menu and told me items they've typically ordered in the past. i made suggestions for things i like that they'd never tried. i had high hopes because they don't mess around when it comes to food: they can detect good food and disregard the rest. we ordered take out so i can't speak to the service in the restaurant but my first handful of food, once i had a full plate, proved them correct: this place is EK DAM SAWAAD HAI! my first thought with the first bite in my mouth: this tastes like india! and i hadn't tasted anything this good in years! i stuffed myself. i inhaled everything we ordered and told them we need to make this a regular occurrence because there's plenty on the menu that they haven't explored and i'm excited for more! portions were great and flavors were spot on. next time we're adding rasmalai to our order because it's one of my favorite desserts although truth be told, i've never met an indian sweet i wouldn't wolf down. this was a five star experience for a person who misses dhabas as much as street food, home cooked indian meals as much as restaurants. if you're wondering what authentic indian food tastes like, this is what north indian food is all about!

The spread was ridiculous (in the best way): close to 50 dishes. Lamb, mutton, chicken, paneer, falafel, hummus, nihari, kababs... basically a United Nations of deliciousness. They had mutton haleem, which is basically a unicorn at buffets. Most places go the chicken route which is not the same. Haleem made with chicken is like the lead singer lip-syncing at a live concert -- sure, it looks right from a distance, but deep down everyone knows something sacred has been compromised. Not only was it mutton, it might be the best haleem I've had in the Greater Seattle area. I considered asking for a to-go bucket (for research purposes). Plenty of vegetarian options too, including hara-bhara kebab, so nobody at the table feels left out (or tempted to switch teams mid-meal). Dessert was some ground-breaking stuff. Ras malai, gulab jamun, sheer khorma, and Umm Ali (if you haven't had it, imagine bread pudding that went to finishing school and came back rich, elegant and sophisticated). And these weren't "buffet versions". Most buffet GJs taste like fried dough and the rare Ras Malai tastes like boiled paneer. The sweets at Aadar tasted like the real stuff -- rare! Service was on point. Seated immediately, water glasses magically refilled, plates cleared like a Formula 1 pit stop. One of the best server-to-customer ratios I've seen at a Desi buffet. The ambience is classy. Spacious, tablecloths, good cutlery. Felt like those 5-star hotel buffets back in India. Definitely triggered some nostalgia. At $40 per person, it might feel a bit premium for a buffet, but this was a special Eid spread, and between the quality, variety, service, and overall experience, it absolutely earned it. I'm genuinely now curious (and excited) to try their regular buffet next. Kudos, Aadat team for nailing this!

Decent option if you're nearby, but there's room for improvement in balancing the flavors.

Which is probably why everything looks curry like but nothing tastes like authentic Indian food. It's a no for me. If you want traditional Indian food, this will disappoint you. The staff here is non Indian , is almost mechanical, and regurgitate learned information about the menu, they don't ask you what you want to drink , they are just marching around cleaning but no effort of being personable. Our server was attentive, present, and genuinely eager to learn and provide a good experience. There was a level of effort there that you don't always see, and I can confidently say there was nothing negative about the service. Now, the food. We started with the Cauliflower Manchurian appetizer, which was the standout of the night, beautifully spiced, well-balanced heat, and exactly what you expect when you go out for Indian cuisine. It delivered flavor and depth. We also enjoyed our Garlic Naan. For our entrees we ordered Prawn Malai Curry and Chicken Saag. The prawns were clean and cooked properly, but the dish overall felt under-seasoned and lacked the heat and boldness typically associated with Indian food. The chicken itself was moist and cooked well, but presentation was noticeably different from the menu photos. The saag, in particular, was more of a purée rather than the textured spinach shown, which was a bit disappointing from a visual and expectation standpoint, And again, it lacked the bold, heat generally associated with Indian Cuisine. Where the experience struggled most, however, was the ambiance. The restaurant felt unusually quiet. ((It was a Thursday Evening around 6pm)) We were one of only two tables dining, and the overall atmosphere came across as somewhat uncomfortable and, at times, a bit eerie. The exterior signage also doesn't align with the cuisine; it gives off more of a fast-food or taco truck impression rather than an inviting Indian dining experience. Additionally, the gold-toned plating and utensils felt more distracting than elevated. The finish appeared worn and tarnished, which unfortunately had the opposite effect of what was likely intended, as it felt more gaudy than refined. Overall, we did have a good experience, largely due to the service and a few highlights in the food. However, the restaurant is still finding its footing. From what I understand, they've only been open about six months, and it shows. With some strategic adjustments, especially in ambiance, branding, and consistency between menu presentation and actual dishes, this place has real potential. I hope the owner takes the opportunity to refine these areas, because there is something here worth building on.

I decided to try the two-piece fish and chips and was pretty well blown away. The fish filets, as you can see in the picture, were generous (MUCH bigger than those at Ivar's in Burien) and came out piping hot. Served with ketchup and tartar sauce but, disappointingly, no malt vinegar. Also, they could have drained the fish a bit longer after pulling the filets from the (canola) oil, as the second filet was still dripping a bit of oil. My server was very attentive. Once she seated me, she immediately brought a glass of water and a sample of the Mango Lasi, a blend of mango and yoghurt. Just the thing to cut the heat if your palate gets a little overwhelmed by some of the spicier dishes. The owners did a GREAT job with the physical plant. The room is bright and clean and bears ZERO resemblance to the old Jack's Country Restaurant. This room is warm and inviting. Bollywood programs play on the TV, adding to the atmosphere. There are a lot of dishes on the menu beyond my basic fish and chips, but if my lunch was any indication, it will all be good. I'm eager to make a return visit!
