Food was overall very flavorful. The Nan was thin, garlicky and it went well with picking up the curry. My favorite would be the lamb. It was cooked well as it had a soft chew. There were kids that were playing music on full volume on their ipad so much so that we could barely hear us talk. The door at the back was open which made the restaurant very cold. First time trying this restaurant after relying on Yelp reviews, and unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. I'm giving 2 stars only because the server provided good service -- otherwise this would've been a 1-star review. I was really looking forward to treating myself, but the food fell far below expectations. I ordered the Tandoori Roti, which should've been soft and fluffy, but instead it was tough, bland, and honestly felt like chewing on greasy cardboard. The Lamb Korma (medium spice) had zero spice at all, and the lamb left a strange aftertaste. The Chicken Biryani was just mediocre. I also ordered a side of Raita in case the food was too spicy, but it turned out to be extremely watery -- and cost $7. I asked for green chilies and was given jalapeños instead. By that point, I had already lost my appetite from the overall disappointment and asked for a to-go box... only to find out they charge for the box too. ‍ A few minutes later, I believe the woman in charge came over and asked if I needed anything else. I said no, and she immediately handed me the bill, mentioning she had something else to do. It honestly felt rushed, like they just wanted me to pay and leave. This place is a hidden gem in Kent. One of the best Indian restaurants I have visited. Food is good ambience is good and service is good (not very fast but their food tastes fresh so I am okay with a little wait). Every time I am travelling through Kent I make it a point to stop here and relish a good meal. The other thing I like about this restaurant is that every time I have visited them with a big group or smaller one they always have tables available. We ordered their kebabs, parathas, lamb dishes, butter chicken, mushroom masala, etc and everything tasted great. Flavors were on point. They have a few beer and wine options as well. Back in 2022 this place used the most goated indian places around. top 5 in all of washington by far for sure. but now in 2025 the deep flavorous and rich aroma is gone. now its just filled with garlic.
