I had this Indian restaurant bookmarked on Yelp and finally decided to give it a try. It's located in a business industrial area, which makes it a good spot for businesses during the weekdays. We went on a weekend, which was a plus since the area tends to be quite empty on weekends. We ordered the chicken Karahi, goat curry and a pea curry (methi malai). The chicken Karahi was not at all like the ones I've had in other Indian restaurants, which is dry-sauteed, which when ordered in other restaurants, they would specifically say that this is a "dry" dish with no gravy. However, this chicken Karahi had a lot of gravy, which was unexpected. The taste wasn't bad, but it was different from what I was used to. The goat curry was just ok, as expected. and the pea curry had more gravy than usual and the taste was not great but good for naan dipping. Overall, the restaurant didn't satisfy my craving for Indian food. I'll have to find another restaurant that will satisfy my craving. I probably won't be back, but at least I gave it a try. read more

What a gem! Loved the freshness and flavors of the dishes. Went with the reviews and glad I wasn't disappointed. 1. Garlic Naan - i love Garlic and was amazed to see the garlic hitting the right notes in every bite. 2. Chole batura - the batura was fresh and the chole were yummy! 3. Samosa Chaat - I had asked this to be hot and its how i liked it. The samosa was good 4. Aalu paratha - plain , simple paratha 5. Chicken curry dhabha style - soft, chicken pieces in a tangy, delicious tomato base curry. This was amazing! What did not work was the lassi! The salt and mango lassi had sour taste. It was more evident in the salt lassi. We had a take out order else I would have sent it back to the kitchen for them to taste it. Super friendly staff who was very kind to give us utensils for our take out order and offered to help to the car! The restaurant is within a new industrial complex and lots of parking is available. read more

This is a pretty good Indian restaurant. All the typical foods are done well, like chicken tikka masala and the naans obviously, but I liked their mango chicken and especially the chili chicken. I thought the pricing was a little bad though, I mean it's pretty good food but it's in the realm of $20 per meal when the quality is just on par with the above-average Seattle restaurant. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is semi-modern, kind of like a stone slab sort of vibe, it's pretty clean though. Overall a good restaurant and I would say it would be more of a staple for the workweek if it was cheaper. read more

First time here, and the food was solid. I ordered the Biryani, Chicken Tikka Masala, and garlic naan. The spices were definitely present in the Biryani and Masala, but for me, they lacked some depth of flavor. The garlic naan was a bit dry and bland. On the plus side, the portions were generous, which is great if you want leftovers. Just a heads-up, they don't hold back on spice, so be careful if you can't handle heat. The restaurant itself is pretty open, but it was a bit cold when I dined in. Overall, it was an okay experience, but feel free to give it a try! read more

Ordered chilli paneer and gobi Manchurian for appetizers. Main course - garlic naan, Malia kofta, dal makhni. Vegetarian biriyani and mango lassi. Appetizers are more like gravy and too saucy. I did not like the flavor. Malia kofta and garlic naan was delicious. Biriyani had a great flavor. read more

Grabbing a week night dinner at this cozy establishment turned out to be a treat. The service was somewhat slow. We had to call multiple times for someone to take our order. We ordered the mango lassi, dahi papdi chat, paneer makhni and garlic nan. Dahi papdi chat was delightfully refreshing. The Paneer Makhni(spice level 3) had a good spice to it and was quite tasty. Would visit again. read more

Let's get this out of the way first: the food here is great. I love a spicy vindaloo and this restaurant is willing to make it for me. I've had several of their other curries and they are tasty. The location is strange, but there's lots of parking. Service is nothing to write home about but the lady who runs it is always friendly. So if you're looking for a decent curry in the area it's worth trying here. read more

Janoon is an absolutely lovely newer business located in a business park. It'd been on my bookmarks for awhile, but between Indian food traveling well and the fact that it was closer than I thought lead me to a semi-impulse lunch. The gentleman isn't too sure on Indian so I decided to get him a Daal makhani as an intro (which I could eat if it wasn't a hit), paneer makhani for myself, garlic naan, paneer pakora, and ajeera rice - all "medium" spice. With ethic restaurants I'm always careful with the spice level the first time since I don't know how Americanized they are. I was quite surprised how spicy Janoon makes a medium. To the point I could handle "hot," but I really don't think I want to. Medium had a great kick to it while not burning my face off so I could still get the flavours. The Daal makhani was a big hit and I really enjoyed my paneer dish as well. Janoon was definitely a great lunch with plenty of leftovers so I feel like I got my bang for me buck and will definitely be back! read more

The food was fantastic, service was excellent, and I would definitely be a regular if I lived in Washington. I had the Chicken Curry and ordered it extra spicy and it was so flavorful. Baljeet was very friendly and an excellent waitress who recommended some delicious food such as the Samosa Chaal with Chana. Well worth a try! read more

The food taste good. Taste like what the real spice levels should taste like. Didn't eat inside. We ordered takeout. I think I want to try the place again. Called in the ordered but it was difficult for both sides to hear each other so that was kind of annoying. Sort of wish they had an order online option. If they do then I must have missed it. The service was confusing. The food was handed to us but before we got the chance to pay but when we grabbed the food we were told we had to pay first so I was just thinking why would you bring us the food first before we got to pay if we had to pay before getting the food and with what hands were I suppose to use if I had food in my hands? Ask for name, make a match, let us pay our bill, then hand us the food? Lots of parking. Location is away from everything. Kind of strange to find, but parking definitely wasn't an issue. Will try again and update this if it's better next time. read more

I was in the mood for butter chicken and saw this new place on Yelp and it was down the street from my job so I figured why not. Turns out it's in the suite where EJ's used to be. I walked in and there was ample seating but nobody to greet me. A few minutes later someone came out and quickly apologized and told me I could sit anywhere and gave me a menu. There were plenty of choices and as another review mentioned the prices for the main courses were on the higher side. My butter chicken was almost $18 and I was pretty shocked at how small the container was when they served it. However it does come with rice and so therefor the value of the meal is pretty decent! The server did ask me the spice level I wanted the butter chicken and I chose hot but it definitely lacked on the "hot". The butter chicken was very flavorful and filled with lots of chicken. The chicken itself was a little dry. The rice was fluffy and filled with spices. One so big, it got lodged in my throat and i almost choked. But the rice is A very nice accompaniment to the butter chicken. The garlic naan was a side order but a must. It was super fresh and so nice to dip into the butter chicken. Not pictured but I also ordered a mango lassi and it was thick and not too sweet but I was too stuffed by the time I finished to really enjoy it. It's a definitely a plus to have an Indian restaurant in the area. I wish they lunch specials. With the industrial area that they are in that would be the way to go. I spent about $36 on my lunch after a $6 tip and that's just a little expensive to do all the time. They are super friendly here. I asked them how long they had been open and they said about 4 months. Wish them much success! read more

Great service in a nondescript business building. The spinach stuffed Naan was great! Had a nice char on it. The heat was perfect in the dishes and I really liked the mango chicken. Butter chicken was nice and tender too. I did not like the aloo Gobi. The cauliflower was overcooked and too many potatoes in it read more

I would have given them more stars but the service was lacking when we came in for lunch. It was after the "normal" lunch hours so we thought it might be a little quieter. They had a few tables but not too busy. The only server was clearly uninterested in doing her job. The table next to us had water spilled all over their table and we just watched it drip off the corner of the table while she ignored it! Now, the food is excellent! It deserves five stars! Great flavor, great presentation. A little pricey for lunch but oh so good! It's tucked into an office park of W. Valley so if you didn't know it was there you would drive right past it as I have since they opened! It is truly a hidden gem! read more

First time here , odd location but easy parking ! First Impressions were not bad at all given we were the only people there at the time . Service was quick and friendly and a pretty simple menu Ambiance- Good Mid sized dining area with simple and clean designs Food- Came out under 15 min for 5 dishes . Samosas 3/5 - Filling is pretty good , but the outside could've been better (Personal Preference) Lamb Curry 4/5 - Definitely hits the spot lamb could be more tender but overall really good ! Butter Chicken -3/5 - Had better but it is great for what butter chicken is! Chicken is not dry and tough like other spots and will for sure get your craving out ! Chicken Biryani 4/5 - Really Tender chicken, Great Flavors , a really solid pick . Garlic Naan - 2/5 Didn't hit the same as other spots as it did not taste as fresh , but it can totally be just me Overall - Decent Price range $20-30 , If you are craving Indian Food then this place will for sure satisfy it ! It was before dinner time so we were the only ones there. We ordered vegetable curry with potato's and beans, lamb korma, shrimp curry, garlic naan, mango rassi, and chai tea. All curry were very fresh and tasty. Lamb was a little too stiff though. I do not like chai tea at all. Tasted very thick and old. We thought rice was a little too old because it was more soggy side. Overall food was great and price is better than other Indian restaurants I think. read more

Though it's tucked away in an industrial complex and a bit hard to find, it's well worth driving around for, especially if you're on you way to/from the airport. The Dahi Papdi Chaat was flavorful with the chutneys, the Gobi Manchurian had excellent texture, and the Methi Malai Matar was cooked perfectly (although I would recommend getting it mild, since the spice masks some of the complex flavors). Service was quick and friendly as well. read more

Took takeaway at 915pm on a Tuesday. Ordered paneer tiki masala and chicken curry (2 star) with garlic naan and white rice. I am currently writing this between bites, and I have not felt the need to make a food review in a series of hot minutes. This food is DELICIOUSNESS! The paneer is perfectly firm, and the tiki is wonderfully creamy. I could and did drink the last of this from the bowl. The chicken curry is immaculately spiced for 2 star, all the flavor and the heat just pops out to say hello. Toss that in the fragrant rice (I don't know what they added but it had little seed pods that tasted like a spring meadow) and scoop it with the naan for absolutely perfect bites. Did I mention that this was eating a full hour later? I got busy and couldn't get to the table and this is STILL amazing food. Not enough people at this restaurant, more people need to eat here!! read more

Came here with hungry tummies. The restaurant is in an office area. At nigh it was difficult to find the place. Weird location. Ample of parking space available. The lady serving, damn her attitude. Their was only one table occupied and she asked us to sit right behind them. So are the other sitting space just for show? We ordered their:- Paneer Tikka:- Liked the way paneer was nicely charred to give that smoky flavor. Chole Bhatura:- It was a tasty dish. Oily Chole. Dal tadke:- Asked to make it spicy. And rather spicing it up with fresh green chillies the dal tasted of spicy red chili. Comes with a side of rice. Garlic Naan:- This was the star dish for us. Nice thin and buttery. When, the customer is paying for a pricey meal, while the time of checking out you come and stand over the customers head with card reader. Just saying the total amount, how am I to verify it?, and after paying asking if we want a receipt. And you are asking me to leave a good comment. read more

Decent spot for indian food in the Kent -auburn area .Worth a try but not something I would return for.. the service was friendly, ambience is not something that's memorable or would matter as it's too casual read more

Location is rather strange. The restaurant is surrounded by office buildings and it was the only restaurant around that area. Initially, we thought we were lost, but as we turned the corner, we found the restaurant. We ordered briyani (with goat) if I remembered correctly. Also we ordered a side of regular rice, garlic naan and a medium spicy tikka masala. This place is excellent if you want spicy indian food. The briyani was too spicy for my significant other, but I really liked it. I also liked the tikka masala, flavorful, creamy and spicy. The chicken in the tikka masala was also tender. This was still borderline too spicy for my significant other, but tasty for me. Overall, if you are sick of not getting spicy indian food, go to this place. This place actually makes their indian food spicy if you want it that way. read more

I can't give a review based on the food. This restaurant is in a very weird office space / storage space / office rental / warehouse idk WTF spot. It's hard to find. When we walked in we were not greeted. We sat ourselves. There was only one table that didn't have dirty plates on it but was still very dirty. Someone came to talk to us when we sat, not sure what she said. We were never offered menus or anything. Sat there at a dirty table for way to long. People working there didn't come up. So we just walked out. Was a very weird uncomfortable experience. read more

We ordered Uber eats . Packaging was poor . Palak paneer very watery and lacked flavored . Methi mutter was over loaded with methi . Naans and kulcha was too chewy . Lamb saag was ok and CTM was the best dish yet I would rank it 2.5/5. The Jeera rice was tasty read more

We ordered food from Janoon for my brother's wedding ceremony (veg and non vegetarian). The food was absolutely delicious and enjoyed by all (kids and adults, indian, american and folks of other heritage). The appetizers were on point with all the additional chutney's they had provided. It was not too spicy and not too bland either, just PERFECT !!! It was very easy to work with the restaurant team and explain our choices and kind of food we wanted. They went above and beyond by providing a hot case for the food so it is warm until ready to be served. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Janoon for any party events you might have. We got the Lamb Chops, and Samosa Chaat, which were pretty decent, but what I really liked was the butter chicken. It was amazing.
