Their food quality is one of the worst if not the worst specially their rice (Qabulli)! Don't waste your money and time by going to this place.

This Afghani restaurant was quite decent and is located near Des Moines not too far from Highline College. We decided to experiment for "date night" and this was a pleasant surprise, the food was very tasty. There is a prayer pad at the front of the store. It was about 77F degrees in there at 9pm at night in March, so it was a bit warm that I had to take off my jacket. This might be from the kitchen equipment though. We had as follows: "Chicken Kabab, Chicken Karahi, Samosa and a Sprite." Total was $54.27 for the entire meal. It came with a generous portion of a Naan type bread which tasted great. The chef was nice to us and answered all of our questions. He gave us some hot Ceylon tea before the meal was served, he also mentioned all the food was Halal. Side note: There was a homeless man that was in just before we got there (when the place was empty) and was begging for food. The chef gave him a portion of rice and something else. I thought that was very upstanding of him to do that for him. If you ever wanted to experiment with Afghani food it has some similarities to Indian and Mediterranean, yet has it's own unique flair. 5 stars.

I really wanted this to be good, but unfortunately it disappointed me. The bread was not warm, room temperature so basically cold. The samosa were still literally frozen on the inside. Lamb Kebab was cooked ok but a bit salty. At least the server tried to be nice.

Very sweet people and delicious food! Seems like it's family run and they were very attentive to us. I loved the lamb rice and the potato puffs. Those aren't the names but lol the menu is simple so you'll know what I mean. So yummy. A little pricey, but really not bad!

no meat in this gyro, the picture speaks for itself

No taste, very expensive and very small portion size vs the the price they are charging. Service is also bad.

We stopped by and when you enter, the smell inside is absolutely heavenly. I don't think I have ever entered such a wonderful smelling bakery. We were greeted by the sweetest female employee who was patient with us while we were trying to decide what to get. It was still really early so we weren't super hungry for sweets so we got a cream puff each. I got the pandan one while my boyfriend got the regular one. They were absolutely perfection, the filling was super yummy! I want to come back to try their other flavors. The macarons looked amazing and they have quite the selection as well as their cupcakes too. I will have to stop by more to get some more sweet treats. They have cakes too or you can order them as long as you give a few days heads up. They have a counter top to enjoy your sweets right away. They also have napkins just in case as well. They don't offer crafted drinks but had a few drinks in their fridge.

Only reason why I lowered my rating is because of what I get when I order DoorDash delivery…read more I only live down the street but sometimes when I'm in my pjs and it's late I just want my dessert to be delivered. So I always order the Dubai chocolate strawberry cup that comes with bananas. If you noticed the ones I've ordered in the past it came with banana. But when I order DoorDash delivery, not only is it not a full cup, but it's missing bananas. Happened three times now. If they stopped adding bananas then that's a different story, but I pay extra when I order delivery, including tip. So I'm expecting to have the same service as when I'm in person. When I'm in person they all have great service, kind people. So I know they work hard, but I'm wondering why it's different for delivery when we pay more. ?

I'm a huge sucker for themes especially ones that revolve around planets and all the pictures and videos I've seen on their social media and on Yelp always looked so pretty. When we arrived, we loved the aesthetics of the place. They had plenty of seating and tables and it is much more spacious than other cafes where it feels like it's too cramped to do anything. They did have Indian music playing which I felt was an odd choice for the atmosphere. The menu here isn't too big either as they do offer menu pancakes, crepes, coffee drinks, milkshakes, smoothies, and energy fizzes. My boyfriend loves biscoff so he got the biscoff milkshake while I got the tropical energy fizz, although I was asked if I wanted Sprite or Red Bull because I assumed it was one of those drinks that had energy in it so felt that was a bit of a mistake on the business for not mentioning that. Additionally, I assume if you get the Red Bull version then it would be an upcharge too, which was also not mentioned to me. The drinks were delicious though! My boyfriend's biscoff shake was definitely the star of the show as it was creamy, smooth, and the consistency was perfect! The syrup of the tropical flavor was nice too, not too sweet and you can taste a bit of all the fruits. Speaking of which, the service here was not inviting nor positive. The lady was the cashier and barista and she had the most monotone attitude with us with no intention to truly welcome or offer good service. It did take some time to get drinks despite us being the only ones there and it didn't seem likely they had any orders that they were making prior to our order. Despite that, this is a neat cafe that I do want to return to try out their crepes, mini pancakes, other drinks and the Turkish coffee!

Let me say I went through my emo phase years back and I liked certain songs but even back then I would think this was weird: I dont think Hollywood Undead singing about unaliving themselves and the different ways they'd do it is an appropriate song to play in an icecream shop... It felt so weird. All the songs were the grunge emo type, which I get is someone's personal taste, but you'd think the owners would monitor what is being played. The atmosphere is so different. The price is insane for what the product is. I got the mango sticky rice and before they would put a cute thai tea bear or something on top, with a lot of rice. Now its this tiny little sample size cup of rice, nothing cute about the food, so overpriced. I get why they almost never have people there anymore. I don't know what happened but the brand took a major hit.
