Refreshing beverage in Kent, Washington... I had some time before my flight home, so I checked my Yelp app for the nearest Starbucks. This was a great one! The free parking lot was a joy to see! Inside, the store is very spacious and bright! The workers greeted each customer as they entered! I looked at the merchandise and was tempted... but my luggage is full. Maybe I should get another tote bag? Hmmm... I have enough Stars for $20 worth of merchandise! How about the clearance bin... ooh... cute cups, but no space in the suitcase... LOL! Such a struggle! Anyway, I'm here to start another challenge. I brought my Personal Cup and got my discount and Bonus Stars! Yay! My cup was filled to the top even though I just asked for the "Tall" size! Thank you!!! Thanks also for the efficient service and calm environment where I wrote this review! I appreciate the clean, convenient restroom! I'll be back! read more

I was the only customer when I came up to the window to pay and collect my drink/muffin. I paid, got my drink, and was told that they were just waiting for the muffin to finish heating. 5-6 employees just chitchatting. I wait, wait, and wait some more. Will it be scorched by the time I get it? No because she finally came to the window and notified me they don't even have those muffins and "can I give you a different type of muffin" was the only solution offered. It took awhile but I finally got a refund. EVERY time we go to this Starbucks there's a problem. My absolute least favorite Starbucks. read more

Caramel Brûlée Latte was too sweet, but very nice and hot. Asked for a cup of warm water and was advised to go back and wait in line, such poor customer service. Very disappointed with the ambiance here, worst Starbucks vibe here ever. read more

This is now the third time that this location has made my latte's without the flavoring. Do your baristas pay attention to details. A regular latte is just nasty. When you spend $6.00+ for a cup of coffee you expect it to be correct. I understand that mistakes happen, but three times is a bit excessive. Maybe the store needs to hold a kaizen for process improvements. read more

Thia, the manager is a complete asshole. The service was great but, thanks to the baristas, but Thia was being an ass to every one of the employees the whole time. From what I saw, one ran off crying. Coffee was great but I will not support poor management. Do better Starbucks. read more

I went in, ordered an iced americano from a very polite barista, and the manager Thia, was judging her every move the entire time. I mean this girl couldn't do anything right in his eyes. The coffee was amazing, but I was very displeased with how he treats his employees. read more

Not in my town, and I stopped for breakfast at the closest Starbucks I could find. The girl at the register was so upbeat and exceedingly helpful and friendly - I really wish I caught her name. She was tall, probably in her twenties, tight curls piled sooo her head with a pink head wrap, and smiley. Coffee and sandwich came out quickly and nice and hot. Store was spotless. Bathrooms were very clean. All staff working hard. 10/10. read more

I needed to find a place to park myself and wait around a bit for a lunchtime date. What better place than one with coffee, coffee, and more coffee plus some great lil snackas. While all Starbucks have similar choices of caffeine fix and food options, not all offer equivalent customer service and super comfy lounge areas like this location. The barista taking my order was talkative and friendly and chatting with her was a great way to start my day. My day continued to get better as my toasty warm sugar infused beverage with a touch of coffee materialized on the counter in almost no time. And well, if one has nothing to do but sit around and wait to eat lunch, one might as well get warmed up on their cheese and fruit packs. These packs are gf for those of you in the glutenisgross club like me. I just left the little packet of crackers that came in it on the table as a surprise treat for the next customer, who doesn't like free surprise snacks? My drink was well prepared and gave me the appropriate sugar rush I've come to depend on. The cheese and fruit was a great tide me over snack and the comfortable seating, clean establishment, and cheerful service made this a top notch Starbucks in my book. Now, if they could just sell mini wine bottles with the cheese plates... read more

L O C A T I O N On the intersection of S 180th street and 88th ave south. They have their own parking lot and drive-thru. BEWARE of the intersection because it's photo-enforced! D R I N K I usually get a chai tea latte because it tasted the same as any other SB branch. S E R V I C E Pretty easy and quick. The staff here are friendly and easy-going. O V E R A L L This SB has plenty of tables and chairs. They have some against the wall and some for casual lounging. I like this SB because of the variety of seats and wall chargers. This is a good place to study and chill since it's a bigger location. A barista offered a free grilled cheese sandwhich because of a miss order in the drive-thru, so THANK YOU JESSICA for the wonderful sandwich. Overall this is a solid SB and I would come back! read more

All starbucks are not created equal, at least not when it comes to staff and management, this one has great staff, one of the few starbucks I can get my drinks exactly as I ordered. The added convenience of drive-thru and fast free wifi makes this sbux an excellent choice. And Now use your IPhone or android Sbux app to order and pay for your drinks, they will be waiting for you by the time you arrive. (aprox. time shown at time of order) On business days traffic backs up at peak hours on 180th going eastbound, might be hard to get out of parking lot, same if you try to turn into if you are going west bound, there are only couple of dozen parking spaces, though there are more spaces in the back near Staples. read more

This Starbucks is one of our favorites the barista at the window is always friendly and really nice.

From reading the other reviews this Starbucks seems like it is either hit or mess so I had to add my two cents. My experience here was excellent. It has to be one of the larger Starbucks I've ever been in so there's plenty of room for everybody with no crowding. It is a great place to work study and catch up on email. The place is very clean very orderly. The employees worked as a team and the service was excellent and so was the attitude. I certainly will book mark it to come back here. read more

The best Starbucks in the area. Fast service and the baristas are always friendly. Wish their open hours were longer

I just tried going through this Starbucks drive thru at 6:50 pm, which is an hour and half before they close, and no one was there! I bypassed the drive their window since no one took my order and saw the inside looked completely empty. The cars I saw enter before I did left immediately because of the lack of service. I don't write negative reviews but I intentionally seemed out this location because it is usually less busy than other locations and was completely disappointed. read more

I can't figure out how someone can mess up a mobile order. Please explain to me how this is light ice. You pretty much charged me $5 for a cup of Ice. This is my favorite Starbucks location in the area. The staff is always courteous; the atmosphere is great for studying, talking, or just relaxing; and the store seems to be run very smoothly. This is the biggest Starbucks I have ever seen and I visit at least 3-5 different ones a week. Go here. If you have work to do and are within 15 miles, go out of your way and go here. This Starbucks is awesome! Came here two times and both times using the drive-thru. The service is always superb and friendly. They really know how to take care of their customers. We came by trying to get the BOGO free deal for the holiday season drinks. We were not sure which drinks were on the holiday list so we asked the barista. She listed a bunch, including Pumpkin Spice latte, which is one of my favorite during the fall season. However, after punching in the order, the barista noticed that the Pumpkin Spice was actually not on the BOGO list, but she said she would take care of us anyway because she already told us the information. So we got 1 venti Chestnut Praline and 1 venti Pumpkin spice for the price of one! Totally a steal. read more

Probably one of my favorite Starbucks' just because it's spacious and it has different seating options. There's plenty of space for studying (in a group or alone) or of you want to just sit and read. The baristas are always so friendly! Downside, sometimes when I place an order for an iced green tea they'll forget to sweeten it but they're always nice to accommodate. Sometimes the music is a bit loud so it's hard to have conversations with people or to concentrate on studying/reading read more

It's very true that one review for a Starbucks is pretty much a review for them all... But, this being my first time at this new store, I thought a review was in order. I frequented the one that used to be down in the business complex, as my boyfriend works in this area and I usually stop by to visit him. Seeing that this one was open, I decided that it would have to work! I'll start with the positives: the decor and the first barista that I came into interaction with. Mike, who was ringing, was incredibly nice. So personable and so fun and just so adorable. I only talked to him for like 2 minutes and he made the beginning of my first time here so great! The decor is really modern and updated (as to be expected, seeing how it's new) and I loved all the wooden panels throughout the store. There's one wall that's covered in the "full roasting spectrum" of coffee beans which I thought was a really cool, rustic touch. On top of all of that, this location has LOTS of seating which is awesome because it's usually such a hassle to find a nice spot when going to a Starbucks to do homework or catch up with somebody. Now..... The negatives. Let me start off by saying that I'm a Starbucks barista so I'm pretty observant when I go to other stores. The barista that was on bar, making everybody's drinks, was burnt out. Extremely. Because of this, he was snappy with customers. A girl misheard him call out a drink and she goes, "Was that the caramel macchiato?" His reply was, "Uhh no. I'm working on it," super short like. The only customer that he was KIND of nice to was a guy that he already knew. Thennn, I noticed that there was a guy there that was interviewing for a job with Starbucks - instead of putting his drink in line as it was received, as it's supposed to happen, the barista dropped what he was doing to make that guy's drink first, ahead of other customers. I got my iced coffee and was still waiting like five minutes for my berry hibiscus. That specific drink is supposed to be shaken in a tea shaker. I watched it being made - the barista didn't shake it at all. Just poured it into the shaker, but then poured it right into the cup. What? I probably waited 10 minutes altogether... And there was no long line or anything. If you go to this Starbucks, do yourself a favor and go through the drive-thru and pray that you get Mike, because he's the only good part about this store! read more

I really love Starbucks, but the other day I placed an order then went to pay and got turned away because they didn't have change for 100 dollar bill. It's not just this particular Starbucks, it's quite a few that have done this to me. For such a big company with lots of customers through the day, you would think that they would be prepared for this. It's not really a big deal but it's just an inconvenience to drive around from Starbucks to Starbucks hoping that they I don't get turned away again read more
