The service at this place is bad. The food is even worst. I had placed a pick up order at 8pm and they prepared the food at 10 pm. The people at front desk didn't bother to give any proper explanation. They came up with the worst excuses such as large orders are only served at last, doesn't matter when you order it. People, especially non-Indian origin people, who came after us took their food and went away. It seems the owner doesn't really care if the Indian origin people wait hours together for their food. And even after all the wait, the food I got was probably the worst I have ever eaten. I have ordered a tray of mutton biryani they just threw something last moment and gave us. Had to throw away half tray. Wouldn't suggest this restaurant to anyone as the owner seems not to care about customer experience or the quality of the food for Indian origin people. read more

Disappointing. While the fried rice with chicken was quite tasty, our butter chicken was very sweet. It almost tasted like we were drinking a mango lassi with some spice added. The chunks of chicken were very large but dry, so it was difficult to break them down without a knife. I ordered plain naan and the center of each piece was hard and chewy. Finally we tried the Paneer 65 and I was again disappointed. The paneer itself had no taste, I'd swear it was like eating plain tofu. The description says "deep fried twice for extra crunchiness" and there was NO crunch. I ordered paneer 65 biryani and chicken tandoori from this place. I wasnt expected mediocre biryani from a place that specialises in biryani. Thier 65 version looks the same as normal paneer ( or i was given wrong order even though receipt says 65). Biryani consisted of layer of paneer and oily rice and big portion of plain white rice. It lacked any of the spice that goes while making good biryani. Chicken was fine but undercooked pink from inside. read more

If you want absolutely terrible service, this is the place to come to. Pros: - Food is usually delicious and comes in generous portions - Ample seating inside and parking outside Cons: - When you fly in people from India on a tourist visa and get them to serve tables, terrible customer service is what you get. We stayed for an hour and managed to get more water to drink after only 5 attempts of trying to flag someone down. - Do you want a box to go? You get tiny ones. Why? No idea. You realize you need more of those tiny boxes? Hahaha! Good luck flagging someone down. Bring your own water or order off a food delivery service and pick your food up. The service sucks. Service: The service was nothing remarkable, I did not read the person at the front as friendly, and it was certainly not speedy either. I placed the order online and arrived only a few minutes earlier than the estimated preparation time. I ended up waiting 45 minutes over the time I was told on the website, which upset me because I only ordered from here due to the speedy prep estimate in the first place (I work multiple 12 hour shifts and was very very hungry). I also felt I was ignored in favor of customers who had arrived after me because of my gender presentation or age or both (I am a you g woman, and the others in line after me were older men). Food: the food was no better. Although I ordered mild spice, the food was too spicy for me to eat. I can handle some amounts of spicy food, but this was not as advertised. Additionally, I encountered several sharp bones and whole spices in the food that made it difficult to eat. Any one of these things on its own might have been tolerable, and it's possible maybe I am missing out on the cultural reasons the food might have been this way, but to the uninitiated, I am afraid it was inedible. Everyone in my crowed likes this place and most of the parties have this food . I am not sure why so many rave about this place because this is not Hydrabadi dum biriyani !!!! Agree this is better compared to other biriyani places but not the best. Most of the time it's so spicy and kids never get to enjoy this, what ever spice they name it. Next this biriyani is nothing but mutton/ chicken gravy at the bottom and 90% done masala flavored rice at top. Will end up visiting this place unless we get a better one in bothell. It felt like we paid 50$ for favoured and colorful rice. Biryani is horrible, its plain rice with saffron coloring. For veg biryani you will find few pieces of paneer here and there ( 4 cubes in whole biryani). For chicken biryani the chicken was grilled on pan(see my image-- see the grill) and served on some sort of flavored rice. This is a take out experience using doordash, so dine-in experience might be different. I ordered dinner, and it was not a pleasant experience - for a restaurant with the central theme as Biryani - the main dish failed. The Biryani seemed like it was plain rice mixed with chicken, which was cooked separately - as in not cooked the traditional style where both grains and proteins are cooked together. Restaurants usually do that when they try to save money by brewing small batches of chicken and then mixing later with rice - resulting in a less flavorful biryani experience. I also ordered butter chicken, which tasted okay but felt like it was cooked a few days ago. Goat curry was very spicy, also felt like it was made with no "love" - just water, bones of meat and curry powder thrown in an instant pot. They also mixed up the order - where instead of sides of one naan and one rice, they gave me both with rice. They definitely need to put in more attention to the order. Too bad, this is a new restaurant which replaces Dine India - and it was far superior. read more

We regularly order biryani and Chicken tandoori from this place and usually we liked its taste. But last time, when we order FULL Chicken tandoori. (1)We received small portion, usually FULL chicken tandoori comes with two legs but we received different pieces with one leg. (2) The chicken was rotten, foul smelly and taste VERY VERY VERY bad. we cant even make single bite, its was awe-full. Ordered through Uber Eats. Shahi Paneer in every other restaurant is cubes of paneer and in their description they specified "soft pillowy paneer" and instead sent a grated paneer slop. When I called around 8pm on 12/30, a nasty woman answered who refused to give either her name or the manager name and argued "we make it that way only". No apology, no effort to make it right. The mughlai chicken had two one inch pieces of chicken and the rest was just strings of chicken melted into the gravy. Horrible food, deceptive descriptions and awful customer service. You will need to do a chargeback if anything goes wrong because they will not help you and don't even disclose their names even though they have our names as customers. read more

Reducing two stars because last two family pack goat biryani orders had goat pieces almost same as single order of biryani. Taste is still very good. They have been very consistent in taste and quantity, not sure what happened recently. Problem is that if family pack doesn't have enough pieces then you are just left with lot of rice. When called them, the person( May be manager-shanth) answered and said oh yes we did mess up your order. When asked to send biryani he told me to place order again so that he can send me biryani. We use to enjoy this restaurant and would even bring friends to experience what was once a nice restaurant with fabulous food, great service, very clean, and always busy and bustling. Not any more!! Sadly we were served water in plastic cups on dirty tables with compostable wooden plates and utensils. However, not sure how sustainably friendly they are trying to be when we were also given plastic spoons. The food was mediocre at best, portions very small, and very spicy hot even though I asked for mild levels of spices. The wait staff was inattentive and busy chatting amongst themselves. Suggest they spend some time sweeping up the trash that is on the floor instead, and after waiting for our bill I had to find our waiter to get our bill. Not happy with this visit. I'm a regilar customer who visited regularly. But was really unhappy with todays visit. The yelp clearly says 15% off. But the guy at the counter refused to accept the offer pit up by their own owners and refused to accept it. You can see from pictures that they have the discount but they refuse to honor it.
