Great food and finally I can get my Dosa fix in Bothell. Ordered Benne Dosa that I didn't find on their menu but it was delicious. Sriram was our server and he was very helpful.

Ever since I realized Chennai-famous Junior Kuppanna, I wanted to try. The place did not disappoint - they maintained the taste. The place did not have much wait but soon got to waiting during peak times. Liked that the place is well-lit and pretty big. We tried kothu paratha, chicken biriyani and soup - loved all of them, felt authentic unlike usual Indian restaurants. Hope they keep up the food quality and service. They also serve South Indian breakfast on weekends, yet to try next time.

Visited the restaurant for lunch during their first week of opening. The place was busy but we were seated immediately. We ordered the Non-Veg meals, Pichipota Naatu Kozhi, Chicken Korma, Madurai Bun Parotta, Filter Coffee and Rose Milk. Everything was good but were on the Spicy side. The meals came in a dish that was tricky to eat with (plate not deep enough). All the items in the meals were very good. The Bun Parotta was soft and fresh, very close to the ones you get in Madurai. Filter Coffee and rose milk were good too. Service was done by bots but since it was the first week of opening, they had someone to ensure the bots were accurate. Overall had a good experience and will definitely visit again.

Finally a nice South Indian restaurant in Bothell! We tried the Salt & Pepper Baby Corn as an appetizer -- really tasty and well-seasoned (slightly on the dry side, but still good). The Podi Masala Dosa was absolutely on point -- crispy, flavorful, and perfectly made. Gulab jamun were decent too. Overall a great experience and I'm happy to have a solid South Indian spot nearby with decent service. Will definitely be back!

    Non-Veg Special Thali

Tried their non-veg thali. The flavors were on point: authentic, well-seasoned, and clearly made by someone who actually knows what they're doing in the kitchen. But... my dude... the meat portions? The chicken katori had what I can only describe as two emotional support strands of chicken, and the mutton portion was basically one lonely meat fiber floating in a sea of gravy -- a picture of poignant loneliness. I've seen more meat stuck to plates after a dishwasher cycle. I totally get it that the whole idea of a thali is variety -- a fair bunch of fillers to keep costs in check, and not a full-blown meat feast. But when the non-veg serving is so small that it feels like it's more of a garnish than the prime ingredient, it starts making people sad. That said, service was excellent, the robot concept was genuinely cool, and the atmosphere was clean, spacious, and nicely nostalgic. Keep that up! But I implore you once again: meat in a meat curry is supposed to be the main character. For the love of all things delicious, don't make it a cameo appearance.

We were directed to Christina based upon the…read moresize and location of our event - due to her minimum pricing Blue Box is not an option for small weddings but was perfect for our medium size guest count (just over 100). When meeting for our tasting, we went with the more extravagant 8 flavor option as my husband is a chocolate fan but I am not...this was well worth the price as we got 8 mini cakes to try which meant plenty to take home and enjoy over the weekend! Christina won us over with her flavors and enthusiasm, she provided some off the menu suggestions for mixing and matching sponge and fillings which was awesome. Ultimately, we settled on a mix of a traditional wedding cake (we were so pleased to get more than one flavor choice), along with a smaller gluten free cake and a number of sweet treats to appeal to a wide range of dietary restrictions and palates. When it came to design, Christina was very attentive to our inspiration photos/vision but also mindful of our budget as sugar past dahlias are not easy or inexpensive! When we discussed incorporating our dogs, she had a vendor lined up to make figurines and took care of the ordering process once we provided her some photos. Ultimately, she knocked it out of the park both with appearance and taste! I am hopeful that she waives her fee minimum in the event we want a one tier anniversary cake (-:

My only gripe is that I would LOVE to order that cake again to surprise my SIL with, but alas due to the order minimum I probably won't be able to make it happen. Totally understandable as Christina is rightfully thoroughly booked with bigger orders.

The cafe is in a small outdoor shopping area with many other shops and restaurants sharing one big parking lot. It was not crowded when we arrived so we parked right in front of the cafe. The inside is big enough with a good amount of tables to sit down and enjoy the food and drink. Their menu has a variety of options with the croffles displayed right in front of you so you know what they look like. Their drink is decent but didn't impress us as much as the croffles. This was our first time trying croffles so it may not apply to everyone. They have both the sweet (with fruits) and salty (with meats) options and that fits us perfectly because we have different tastes. The croffles were crispy, not too sweet, and I think they would pair really well with a cup of tea or coffee for breakfast. In overall, I think it was a great experience. The fact that it is not crowded already makes it a good place for chilling during weekend morning where you can enjoy delicious food and drink.

The strawberry croffle looks nothing like it used to. I loved the strawberry creme they piped on but what I received is just whipped cream... On top of that, the croffles have shrunk. Look at my OG review photos and you'll see it too. They were 1/3 larger before imo. They're pricey so I now don't know how I feel paying that for a single croffle of that size with plain whipped cream. I'm sad.

Before the closed down, I paid for two Korean dogs and after paying, their machine broke, so the employees then wrote me a "gift card" for me to bring back and get my two Korean dogs at a later day when they fixed it - all of us thinking it would be just a few days. They ended up closing for "maintenance" and then stayed closed for a couple of months - when I suppose this is the time it changed hands. I went in today with my "gift card" and ordered the two Korean dogs (which I had already paid for with the old owners) and ordered some other items as well. The employee took it to her manager. The manager then took it to the new owner, who was literally sitting 5 feet away from me. She said NO! Then after I explained the situation again, she said that she give me one. Not the two on the card. I totally get it. I could have been absolutely a liar and taking advantage. BUT I am not and was not. So, yes, it would have been nice for her to honor the words and obligations of the previous owners (she didn't keep any of the old staff either which made me sad because they were incredible staff and known for their great customer service), but she chose not to. Then the electronic menus were not working so the staff member had to read to me about a few things. Then I paid cash and they didn't even have coins to give me correct change. Looks like it's a rough start to what used to be a great mochinut store to go to. And she would have had made a long time customer had she trusted me, the card I brought in, and honored it. Today, I'm leaving with kind of a bad taste in my mouth and I haven't even taken a bite of anything yet. Hopefully the food tastes better than the service.
