After spotting Mayuri Foods and Video (Mayuri International Foods) in Thrasher's Corner in Bothell a few times, I finally came by today (Wednesday 27 August 2025) to see if I could find a snack item or two I might enjoy. Parking was shared and busy. The inside of the store was well laid out and the floors were marked to indicate which direction to travel in the aisles (it took me a number of minutes to notice they were one way aisles). Offerings included prepared, ready to be consumed, items as well as products that could be used as base ingredients in cooking and/or baking. I found a Star mango drink and Bikaji manbhavan soanpapdi (sweet treat) that I decided to purchase and try out. Checking out was straightforward and the cashier quick and professional. Both items were tasty and I was happy with my experience. read more

This location has a better grocery selection than the Seattle one, and overall I felt the food tasted better here. I tried the Mysore bonda and chicken pakora - both were made fresh and were great tasting. However, I got chicken 65 to-go, and that was disappointing. It was pretty much bland with no real flavor, which was surprising given how good the other items were. Still a good spot overall, especially for Indian groceries and fresh snacks, but consistency could be better in my opinion. read more

I've been eating here since their old location. Heaven! SO delicious. Not wildly expensive for a change either. Generous portions. Better than ever. Thanks Mayuri! read more

Two days ago I ordered from Mayuri and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The paranthas I received were *stale* and unappetizing, which is unacceptable for any restaurant, especially one that prides itself on Indian cuisine. To make matters worse, I reached out to the store manager, Ganesh, to express my concerns and seek a resolution. I was told he'll get back to me but he never did. My follow up calls & VMs have gone unanswered. This lack of communication only adds to my frustration. It's bad enough that stale food was served, it's terrible that they couldn't care any less. We're regular customers for grocery and takeout but this experience has left us infuriated. Never again. read more

This place does have both groceries and a bakery. The fresh produce isn't really that fresh and quality is poor. But rest of the other groceries are decent. Not a whole lot of variety like at other stores but still good enough options. I do like the bakery items like samosas, puffs, sweets, pastries, etc. I did love their freshly made pickles but they aren't available all the time. The staff are nice and helpful. There is plenty of parking available in the shopping complex. read more

Usually LOVE the food here. Delivery is absolutely horrible. VERY small portions compared to take out and $20 delivery fee for a $18 entree. I will never eat here again. read more

Mayuri is always a great fallback option for getting an Indian fix when you are not in mood for cooking or eating out fancy. Their snacks are good and have a very sizable menu to choose from. The sitting tables are back so you can even sit down there although we always end up taking out. The food for the price is a great option. read more

Not sure what they consider to be a special lunch chicken curry combination. I was expecting rice and dahl like they said on their menu. This was what I got for $15. Small chicken curry (not sure the type) which was pretty spicy and had chunks of weird dried spices which gave this massive flavor but not in a good way. It's feels like you're eating a bone and have to spit your food out because of the hard texture. Didn't look at my food until I was already home, however I thought it was pretty lightweight for a lunch combo. They missed on the value. I would rather go to a restaurant where I can get a better value for a couple more bucks. read more

I really don't do shopping on Indian grocery here as their are better places . I really like them for the cakes , pastry and sweets they make. Giving them 3 star as I think staff their doest know the work they do. We got some 4 pastry ( they are not cheap 4$ each ) and when girl was packing stuff she packed where everything is crumpled and mixed with each other . All 4 different pastry now were overlapped with others . Didn't she applied her brain to pack it in a deeper box ? Really ? Finally we said that we want a deeper box then she gave same crumpled pastry in that deeper bag :( read more

This must be one of the most popular Indian grocery/food place in Bothell area. Right from the day I have moved to this area, been hearing a lot about this place. To be honest, this is the first one I tried too. I want to review the grocery section and food section separately. Starting with grocery section. It's a big store with a lot of inventories. You may find almost all the Indian groceries and veggies here. Veggies are fresh and limited fruits option too. Price is reasonable, but on a higher side comparing to the other places. You get a discount if you are member. But the biggest problem here is long long lines. Initially i thought it's a weekend problem, but doesn't matter which day you are shopping here. You have to spend a lot of time in those lines, At times they just open 1 or 2 counters which makes it very difficult. Coming to the hot food section, I am totally happy about this place. Long line is a problem here too. I have made the mistake of ordering from the store. But there's an online ordering option and you can almost skip the lines. Starters, Entrees, breads.. their menu is very good and reasonably priced too. Hardly wait for couple of mins to pick up too. Will recommend their fresh rotis and chicken starters. Staffs are friendly and very helpful. But they should definitely improve their service. Long lines are not good at all. read more

No need to travel far for Indian sweets. Mayuri is in Thrasher's Corner right on Bothell Everett Highway. The store shares the same parking lot with the Dollar Store and Safeway. The space is bright, clean, and organized. Aisles are clearly marked, faced, and well-stocked. The center space had displays of large sacks of rice. There's also a freezer and produce section located in the rear and the side of the store. There is a large cold case display full of Indian sweets. There were pedas, jalebis, burfis, ladoos, and other varieties. I ended up purchasing some pedas and gulab jamuns. Pricing was reasonable and the desserts were absolutely decadent. I'm looking forward to returning and diving into each aisle and peruse through their spice selections. Service was friendly and efficient. read more

Mayuri is still absolutely wonderful, but I wanted to add that we finally tried their cooked food and wow. Really awesome. Great variety, freshly prepared, amazing flavors, and extremely reasonable prices. I also have to say that the food we ordered was really well-packed for takeout with each of the sauce containers also wrapped in cling-film to help prevent any leaks--a nice bit of extra care. Pro-tip: Order ahead so you can zip in and pick up your food order without waiting. The hot food section can get quite busy at dinner time so if you wait for your order it might take 10-minutes (still worth the wait). read more

Found this gem of a place while waiting for my car to get serviced at Bothell Toyota Specialists. Covid Protocols - mask required for entrance - signs asking you to stay 6 ft apart - aisles are listed with one way direction I was a bit nervous with the amount of people in the store not staying 6 ft apart from each other. Kind of difficult when you have a rush coming in for Diwali celebration and picking up food. Just be cautious of coming in during big holidays/busy weekends if you're wary of COVID. Discovered a plethora of Indian snacks, foods, etc while shopping here. I opted for banana chips, masala chips and atakula mixture (salty snack). There's also a food court within the grocery store. You can order sweets and hot foods as well. Other hot foods included samosas, dosa, indo Chinese noodles, biryani, etc. I tried the onion masala dosa and it was $6.99 before tax. Pretty fair price given the big portion. The dosa had potatoes, onion and a curry mixture in the center of the dosa. It was served with 3 sides/sauces which consisted of a tomato sauce, coconut chutney and sambar. Can't wait to come back and try the other hot foods on their menu! read more

They have very poor and slow service. They gave food to the people who ordered after me my two simple dishes took 35 minutes to make. I had to remind them Twice. Employees were not paying attention I was waiting for several minutes to make the order. Their employees were too busy on their phones and gossiping. On a previous visit two employees were arguing with one another in front of several customers. Unfortunately one star is the lowest rating I can give them. read more

Insect in food. Don't eat from here. Ordered Onion Masala Dosa from the food court attached to the grocery store. It came with an insect in masala of the Dosa. If we weren't vigilant we won't have even noticed it. Super angry. They apologized and gave a refund but that doesn't solve the issue since I ate quite a bit before this find. I won't be eating here anymore. Due to health concerns I would recommend you stay away from this place and only do groceries. read more

My experience sucked here .. I ordered tandoori chicken at 6:30 pm and they gave me tandoori chicken from the microwave.. when I question this .. the genius men there said that tandoor does not cook chicken completely and therefore they microwave the chicken always for a min of 5 minutes ... when I question the logic of this stupidity .. they suggested that this is how chicken in US is cooked .. my last visit to this god forsaken place filled with idiots The bloody fork does not pierce the chicken .. Update : I called the meat shop to raise a complaint and the person said they Would not take complains and asked me to call grocery division ... I hate their attitude .. these sort of businesses don't last Bad quality Low / No hygiene read more

OK I am going to keep it REAL for this terrible place. First of all I do not get how the Elite yelpers are giving this place a 4-5 star for their food. Some of them even say the food is okay and yet give 4+ star?? This place is hands down terrible and the worst Indian snack food I have ever eaten! They have recently opened the food chat counter and offer a variety of items and I thought of giving it a try. I wanted to order samosa as a basic item to try but was told it would take 10 min since they have to start a new batch. So I ended up ordering aloo parantha and mix veg pakoras... thinking that should be simple and quick right? Hell no! I waited for 30 MIN! Yes 30 min to get my order and they even had a fresh batch of samosa prior to my order made. I was told they did not have any Gobi parantha and they should have just lied and told me they also don't have aloo coz what I got after 30 min was junk! Check my pictures there is NO aloo in it and just a paste of something weird on a "roti" that is NOT made of whole wheat. A parantha should be whole wheat and what I got was a white flour "something". You are better off buying a frozen parantha from the frozen section and that would taste somewhat edible. The mix veg I got came with no sauce and you would have a better lucky playing lottery than finding "mix veggies" in it. This place is a disgrace to Indian food and snacks STAY AWAY from the food/restaurant section and just go to this place for groceries. I am never coming back to this place, the prices are cheap because you are not getting fresh food. It boggles my mind reading the elite yelpers review. Not sure which part of India they are from but this food is not tasty Indian food. I am never this aggressive for review but this place was ridiculous. I can't believe I wasted 30 min and received such bad food. The service is super slow and they did not even apologize for making me wait forever for 2 items. I would give this place a 0 star if I could, please don't waste your money on this place and try other Indian restaurants in the area and don't be fooled by cheap prices for Fake Indian food. read more

Great mishti and cha! Achari chicken is good too. Glad to have an Indian grocery in the neighborhood

The food in this restaurant is not consistent. We really liked the food we ordered the first time but the second time was a bad experience.

Ordered a Chicken 65 over phone. They said 25 minutes was there inside in 10 minutes and order was ready. So far so good. Got the dish home and shared with wife and she immediately started throwing chicen 65 at me one by one. I wondered why it is hurting me since it is supposed to be soft. Looks like Mayuri has this menu items when your wifey eat or buys husband is bound to get really hurt. Nice feature exclusively from Mayuri foods ....hurt your husband with food we make and sell. Thank You Mayuri Food Bothell Owner & Chef. I am sure they had experienced the same at home and wanted to offer the similar facility to other desi husbands read more

Their veggie biryani is hella yummy & spicy. It's so good & enough for 2 meals. I tried their chicken samosas tonight as well which were piping hot & tasty. They must be something new on the menu & a great deal at 3 for $1.99. #cheapeatsinseattle read more

they do honor the sticker price. Always double check your invoice as they will add extra items or charge you extra dollar or two from the marked price. Also their prices are almost double than other competitors read more

The cost used to be decent when they launched. Sweets at $7.99/Lb, Samosa at 99 Cents etc. But lately they have increased their prices like a fine dining restaurant while the food quality has gone down the drain. For eg please try their white rasagullas (if you keep it for 2-3 days in fridge and eat , it doesnt seem like made up of khoa at all), order some chicken malai or chicken tikka kabab and they will overcook it so hard. Chicken chowmein Even after requesting to make it mild they will always make it spicy. Sweets are usually stale, not worth $15.99/Lb price tag. Perhaps they feel like they have forgotten the old set up they had, time and tide can turn anytime. I'd recommend to try Chicken kabab from Fusion india for that price as the price is cheaper and quality is much better. read more

Mayuri main branch has very good reputation, so I had the very high expectation. They didn't make me disappointed. They have very good collections of Indian grocery items. Price is also competitive. Within the 1 mile radius, there are 2 other Indian groceries and to me Mayuri is far ahead of the others. Recently they have started the restaurant. I have tried their dosa, dahi vada, dahi puri, samosa, chai, filter coffee so far. Food is OK. Nit that great. You get what you pay for. They also sell sweets. I don't like their sweets. Also find a bit expensive. They also bring sweets from Pravu sweets, Surrey, BC, Canada and keep it in the freeze. Sweets from pravu is amazing and very cheap. But the price tag Mayuri puts I find is really high. Also doesn't taste fresh. Tried the laddu couple of times and didn't find that freshness. Overall this is a good place to buy Indian groceries. I hope they keep more Bangladeshi and Pakistani products. read more

Its been many years we are regular customer to this place, today we went for lunch and ordered few dishes. Vada pav bread had fungus on the bottom, don't know how old the bread was and how they are storing the bread etc. By the time I saw fungus bottom of the bread we already eat more than half of the dish, hope we don't get sick, finger crossed. :-( We complaint about this, but they said sorry and offer us to reimburse bill. However it's not a solution of the problem. So we rejected their reimbursement offer. Not sure if they have trashed rest of the breads stock they have, and don't know if they ever fix cleaning and fresh food problems. Seems this is not right place to eat. read more

Sweet quality and price is bad. We got Rasogulla thinking they were fresh and good taste. But with utter dissatisfaction we found out that they'd are similar to the canned one as we used to get. Now out of curiosity we looked for any canned ones but found out that none is available in store, so are they putting the canned ones in the trays and selling them at higher price. The cost is too high at 15.99$ a pound. I will suggest please taste before you buy so that you know what are you getting and not get cheated. Thanks and hope you get benefited by my feedback and the store can improve on the food quality. read more

They take the crown for making the worst Chicken Biryani in all of the west coast. I recently ordered their Chicken Biryani and Chicken Manchurian. Both of them were bland, salt less, and were over cooked. The chicken in the biryani was as chewy as rubber. The rice they use in making biryani is the cheapest and flavorless basmati rice that looks nice but tastes like garbage. There was absolutely zero flavor in biryani. It tasted as if they boiled rice in colored water and dropped in overcooked meat. Within 5 min of radius there are two fantastic restaurants (Paradise and Namaste) that make good biryanis. The manchurian was horrible and had to trash it the moment I took a bite. It tasted like it was a week old food that was reheated in the oven. read more

Rude, poor customer service. We walked in to pick up our phone order. Two men behind the counter wearing masks with only their mouths covered not their noses, preparing bread. They both see us, just looked right thru us, not greeting, no "someone will be helping you in a moment",. Another man comes thru from the back and like the other two, ignores us. After about 2 minutes I spotted a bell at the counter and was ready to ring it, then a woman's comes from the back and asked if we were picking up. Again no greeting. It seems like these workers were not raised well. Just plain rude and inconsiderate. Would not go back. read more
