First, the staff are wonderful! So nice and helpful! Second, the food wasn't good at all. I chose the buffet for $37.96 plus 20% tip, to try a little of everything. The lettuce was brown, pork schnitzel hard and cold, the sausage just yucky. The green beans were had a freezing taste. Then I tried desserts for extra $5. This had been sitting out all day and tasted bad. The restaurant definitely feels like an authentic German pub and the uniforms the ladies wear is so cute! I need to go again and order off the menu and not buffet. I just think this could be so much better. But, the parking lot and restaurant were packed. The sweet tea was really good!

What a great little out-of-the-way place. Absolutely worth the drive. Their Jagerschnitzel is really good, their spaetzle is buttery and yummy, and the red cabbage kraut I could eat by the bucket Our White staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

Wife and I ate here again last night for our anniversary dinner. Great as always. Andy runs a terrific restaurant. She had her favorite (can't spell the German name but it's known as the beef roll) and was excellent as always. For the first time I tried the veal and it was delicious. I loved the pretzel dumplings. They were also a first time for me to try. Substituted the red cabbage for the asparagus as I can't get enough of their red cabbage.

Having lived in Germany for 4 years in the Air Force, this place does NOT disappoint. Recommend: Absolutely Remarkably very well outfitted (inside and outside), decorated authentically and delivers rather astonishingly accurate Germanic meals. Delicious brews, common meals and beautifully sculptured decor makes for a very unique, fun experience located in middle America... Spoke to the Manager who clearly outlined how difficult it is to prepare all the meal ingredients expertly, each day to be able to open up timely beyond lunch time. It shows... Staff are expertly trained, detailed and incredibly hard working running back and forth without delay. Truly a hard working team to say the least. Certainly give this place a try, you won't be, or at least you SHOULDN'T be, disappointed! Having seen the authentic German formula restaurant through my travels, they meticulously recreate the atmosphere, fun and food!

The only good thing besides the one Artisan European style dinner roll was the authentic Dosseldorf mustard. Entree I ordered was 1 Beef sausage and a Pork sausage. Both called a different name in German. I ordered Germain potatoes and Red Cabbage. My beef sausage was way over cooked my pork sausage was fine and I guess they were of average flavor. The German potatoes were flavorless and no where close to German. My redcabbage was good. I ordered Mushroom gravy on my sausages. If done right that gravy is very good. However, they made this gravy with canned mushrooms and instant brown gravy mix and was pretty much flavorless. My dinner came with a dinner roll. They placed it on my dinner plate in the gravy. Couldn't pick it up without getting gravy on my hand. My date ordered a Weinerschnizel. It was good but very over cooked they gave my red Cabbage to her. She didn't order it but it was big enough to share. She ordered Pommfrietes (seasoned French fries not really authentic Pommfrietes. They were not so great. Server was over worked as they were busy. We had to get up with drink glasses and go chase down water refills. They kept the glasses and about a minute later the waiter walk by with our water glasses and gave them to two other people at a different table. I bought him on the way back by our table and said excuse me but you just gave our water to that table up front. He said oh yes, I did. I suggested he retrieve the 2 glasses of water before they drank out of them. He did do that. Brought them. Back to our table without us knowing if they drank out of our glasses. It was not fresh, it was not authentic and it resembled German foods by was a bad representation. I won't be back. Restaurant was clean no low dinner music. Ambiance was lacking. Waiter was a nice young man but either timid or thought he should not talk loud enough he wouldn't disturb other customers by talking to us. Oh and instead of putting our butter on a small plate or dish. They put it on my dinner plate in the gravy. This place was definitely not a class place. Not that it had to be. However, for their moderately priced menu. It needed to have more class than this restaurant showed.

The Chili Cheese Dog with fresh, raw onions (as foretold by the cheesy appetizer) was dense and flavorful, maybe the best no-frills chili dog in Oklahoma. My picky 13yo ate his first First Fried Apple pie with a slice of vanilla. His eyes got really big, and the plate was clean in an instant. The big treat, though, is the full-quarter slice of Poor Man"s "Pecan" Pie made with oats, not pecans. Served hot with a perfect slice of vanilla ice cream (yes, it's a tray-cut square) with a perfect crust -- This may be my favorite dessert ever, in the whole wide world. Of course the whole wide world needs more innovative classic food stops like this on Route 66. Also, ask to see their fire-surviving copy of Eternal Route 66 by Chuck Williams, an ironic souvenir from a prior iteration of The *eternal* Rock Cafe. If you're a fan of Sally the blue Porsche from the Disney Pixar movie Cars, ask to meet the owner, Dawn. She *might* tell you her story that inspired the sweetheart sports car, and John Lasseter, Pixar's chief creative officer is happy to confirm when visiting with memorabilia gifts that decorate the cafe. We were greeted by Josh, one of the owners who immediately offered to take our photos in front of the gorgeous entrance. Once we finished this photoshoot, he brought us to our table underneath the gorgeous wisteria tree in the center of the restaurant. He chatted with us a little about the restaurant and told us about the printer for the espresso martinis. He had one made for the bride with her fiancé's face on it. How cool?! We were soon kindly greeted by our server who offered suggestions on cocktails and answered questions on appetizers. We ordered the foie gras and chicken and truffle dumplings. Both were amazing but the foie gras was my favorite! I also ordered the Lotus Bloom cocktail. It's amazing! I don't like extremely sweet or strong cocktails. This was the perfect drink. For dinner I had the salmon. Now, I have had salmon at multiple restaurants. When I say this is probably the best salmon I've ever had, I truly mean it. It paired so well with the jasmine rice. I'm actually craving it now thinking about it. We opted out of dessert as we were full and the drinks were sweet enough, but I definitely would have ordered the cupcake Ferris wheel! Next time! Chef King came to our table at the end of our meal and brought the bride a chocolate mochi. Before we left, Josh came back and spoke with us for a while. We had great conversation with him about where he's from, the restaurant, and his vision. You can tell he is so passionate about what he does and loves serving his guests. Kind of wish I would've added the sauerkraut too though. Lorenzo got the sampler plate with a little of everything, and I heard zero complaints from him. He even loved the homemade curry ketchup. But I think his favorite was the giant mug of German Dunkel he got to drink. The girls loved their kid schnitzel plate too. We could t leave without dessert, so we grabbed a lemon streusel cake to go. The best part was the atmosphere and staff though. The longer we sat, the more restless the kids got.
