Super awesome authentic German brat house in Oklahoma City that specializes in the best brats... a wide variety of German beers and a full access bar. It's got a sports bar feel. It's got a bunch of tables where you can eat community style or on your own with your own party, the food was awesome. The help was awesome. The Steins are big and the beer is unusually cold.
Well it has been quite a while since we have been here. So as we were doing a family drive around we decided to stop and get some drinks and grub at Fassler Hall. We sat outside because our dog, our baby. They gave her a huge bowl of ice cold water which she hailed as wonderful! It hit the spot where it cooled her down. We ordered the famous pretzel and it never fails. Sooooo good with the beer cheese and house mustard. A definitely repeat every time because of its freshness and soft pinch-able bread to dip in. We also ordered a basic plain hotdog for our dog. Hotdogs are her favorite. For drinks we ordered the German Tart and Mango twist. The tart was just that nothing overpowering but you could really tingle the taste buds with the "bear trap" (German translation) honey liqueur. The mango drink was yummy tropical flavored. Sadly since we were outside the drink got watered down quickly and became a drink just to wet the mouth. We decided to order the hunter sausage and brunch serving burrito. It was huge in size and fully packed. It was tasty but the sausage was a touch too spicy and made my wife's sinuses kick off. As for the hunter sausage i was disappointed in it. First it came in a bun but that wasn't mentioned on the menu. Then the mixture of venison, buffalo and pork sounds good on paper but not in reality. The mixture ended up muting all the favors to where it was pretty bland and required dipping in the house mustard. Because of that I was still hungry and ordered the sample platter with the lamb, hatch chili and chedderwurst. My mouth became immediately happy again with each having a robust flavor. I highly recommend the sampler to determine what you like so in the future you can get a flavorful sausage that meets your tongue pallet. My favorite was the hatch chili. It had some heat but not overpowering so my mouth could taste it and more. Then I liked the lamb as, let us face it lamb is just a good lean meat. The cheddarwurst was also good but not that adventurous. Our dog loved the treatment she received and the yummy food. She is a food critic in her own right! The atmosphere was simple, pleasant and not so loud you couldn't talk.Overall a good experience with good food and dog friendly!!A great place to come for rooting on the Thunder.
The Lamb sausage was fantastic! I added grilled onions, and it was a perfect 10/10. The salad was okay; my husband got fries, and I think I should have ordered the fries -- they taste so much better. The service was good; everyone was friendly. We were able to watch the match outside without any interruptions. The only thing I would change is the music. I wish I could hear the game.
Shelly, our server, was the absolute best! So friendly, humorous, and kind!! Food was great! I got a Guinness (I know, not German) and the bratwurst with a shared duck fries appetizer!! Everyone I went with enjoyed their meal. I tried a bite of the Schnitzel and Meatloaf, both tasted wonderful!!
I really enjoyed my time at this place, and I think it could be a great spot for anyone looking to hang out with friends or family. It has a fun and inviting atmosphere, almost like a small play area amidst a bustling city. They recently celebrated an event at Oktoberfest, which added a lovely touch to the decor, and I had a nice experience sampling one of their beers. However, I do want to mention that their selection of IPAs is somewhat limited, which might be a bit disappointing for some. Unfortunately, I noticed that they don't offer many vegetarian options. If you're a vegetarian, you might find it challenging to find something to eat. One of my friends ordered fries, but they were prepared with duck oil, so that option wouldn't work for vegetarians either. If you're planning a visit, it might be wise to have a light meal beforehand, as the only vegetarian dish available seemed to be a small salad priced at around $10. Still, if you're someone who enjoys beer or a lively atmosphere, this could be a good place to unwind and enjoy some quality time with friends. also talking about service, the server is not experienced so he wasn't very good at helping us.

But this one employee made me want to give you guys a one star but I just can't do it. I literally love giving small business businesses great reviews. I love building our community. I asked a bartender in Fasslers if he had a cold glass, I could pour a beer into. When he didn't have one I made a comment about it being a little early. I was totally just teasing. He began to tell me how rude I was. And just gave me endless attitude until we left.. bro, it was just a question about a cold glass you didn't have to comment on how we were drinking a little early. I mean, we are spending money in your establishment. Thanks, Sawyer. But I will still give you guys four stars because everybody else was so polite specially the bartenders down at the dust bowl.
THE BIG: German Beer Hall located in the heart of downtown OKC. Indoor and outdoor table benches available with TVs adorning the bar and exterior. Plenty of street parking available. THE BLACK AND WHITE: I came with my high school friend that I haven't seen in two years and we tore this place up! It was choose your own table and seat, while the waiters were very quick to bring menus and water. We were starving and ordered the sausage combo which came with three sausages. They make all of their sausages in house and they were good. I had one sausage that was very dry that kind of put me off. For other apps, we got the giant pretzel with mustard and cheese dipping sauce. Then a side of fries, which turned out to be an entire tray. We also got their beers, which is great and reminded me of Germany. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall damage done was around $100 for quite the feast. I'm low key scared of what the regular fries are if the size of the side fries was an entire tray.
Fabulous food, inventive drinks and great service and atmosphere here. The big pretzel is a must to share as an appetizer and the beer cheese that comes with it is out of this world good. I've never had better sauerkraut or mustard than what I tried here and I honestly can't wait to come back. The brat sampler is a great way to get a taste of various flavors and the portions here are large and shareable. I went with a group and we all loved our drinks. I'm especially appreciative of the gin options in their cocktails since that is my favorite spirit. We were even able to bring our baby with us too since we went before 7pm. Well done, Fassler Hall!
Well designed and fun German inspired beer/food hall near downtown OKC. Also has another location in downtown Tulsa. We went for brunch on a Saturday morning before it got too busy. Plenty of tables inside and outside for large groups. We got the Duck Fat Fries, Chicken Biscuits and Gravy, and Chili Cheese Dog, all of which came in huge sharable portion sizes. Draft beer lineup is very impressive and comes in half liter pours and full liter pours in glass steins. They also have a full bar well equipped with various spirits, cocktails, wine, canned/bottled beers/seltzers/non-alcoholic beers, and mocktails. Overall, the venue was absolutely a very cool place to visit!
The employees were friendly and helpful, and the food was great. What else is needed for a restaurant review to achieve the 85 character minimum to post a review for crying out loud.

A great place for gathering with friends, Fassler Hall had great service and hearty meals. Our table shared the "Feed the Table" platter, and it can definitely feed a crowd. A great way to sample a variety of what they have to offer. read more
What a terrific find! This place is a GEM!!! Sure, you know you are going to get a massive pretzel. Obviously there is Bavarian cream in the bread pudding. But in house made sausage?!? Spectacular! Our waitress was a delight too! If you are traveling with a pet there is a patio that can accommodate that offers all sorts of yard games too. I will absolutely be back! read more

Man the vibe of Fassler Hall is so on point! Especially now that they've transformed into "Thunder Hall" for the playoffs! Loved the pretzel, mocktail, and schnitzel dinner. And my fiancé really enjoyed his sausage! Only thing to note is that the customer service was a bit lacking but it makes sense since it was a busy afternoon on a Sunday day. read more

Love it. Massive space, so it's quite good for big groups. I love German beer!!!! I love their chili cheese dog. I love their fries. I LOVE their pretzel bread pudding. They also have Pie Junkie slices which is iconic. Bartenders are generally friendly and efficient, and they usually have servers coming around regularly taking orders as well. My only complaints are that parking can be a bit tough, and the German nachos are very not good. read more

Classic German beer hall with outdoor games like giant connect-four and Jenga on the patio. There's bowling downstairs! I found ordering a bit tough to navigate as I didn't realize you seat yourself and then order at the bar. Lots of sausage on the menu of course, as well as a colossal pretzel that comes with mustard and pimento cheese sauce. This place was popular with groups - lots of after-work happy hours seemed to be organized here. read more

This is a really cool bar/restaurant/bowling alley. We held a small meeting there. It's happy hour which was really nice. Our waiter was great. We told him there would be more people were coming and we wanted some appetizers to share. He told us that the downstairs area had a better menu for large groups to share. We went down and got us the menus and he was right. We got a huge platter of several different fried foods. We had cheese sticks, chicken nuggets, tater tots, taquitos and egg rolls. All were really good. He also brought us 3 different dipping sauces. We had Ranch, cheese and I'm not sure what the other one was but it was good. It's a very fun bar. The atmosphere is 5 stars. I love the outdoor seating area and the outdoor games available. I met with my girl group and we didn't feel rushed to leave. I love that they have a brunch menu but I decided to order a sausage since that is what they are known for. I tried the jalapeno cheddar sausage with sauerkraut. It wasn't anything spectacular. We also started with the pretzels and beer cheese, just okay. The beer cheese was surprisingly not good. Very runny and chunky. I would give the food 2 1/2 to 3 out of stars. Fassler Hall has some great bratwurst if that is what you are in the mood for! It also has a cool atmosphere with the big long bar, all the rows of seating, and the outdoor feel not to mention the free games available to play near by. read more

This is one of my favorite places to spend time with people I love. They host bingo and trivia some nights and also have live music on weekends. It's huge and feels extremely spacious with a view. I feel like you can drink for much cheaper than most places in midtown and the service is always great. If you go downstairs you can go bowling at dust bowl and Fassler also does offer the dust bowl food menu too. Shout out to Shelley the best server ever Brunch food: the burrito with pulled pork and brunch burger 10/10!!! Sausages: chicken habanero (super spicy), jalapeño cheddar, hunter 10/10 so goood!! read more

German style restaurant with great beer selection. I went with a local favorite Coors on draft. I have a feeling we are all going to suffer meat sweats tonight. Atmosphere is fun but very loud and hard to enjoy conversations with my father who is 79 and my man 20year Army retiree. It's definitely on our list of places we will come to again! read more
