WORST NAIL PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. Just to start with I am not a high maintenance nor do I get my nails done often ( maybe once every 3 months) I also believe in everyone has a bad day, I will revisit places and give " redemption" to make a better second impression. I go get my nails done, gel. First of all they chip within 8 days and they were not straight ( I had tips glued on sideways) and the gel was very thick. I go back and complain to get it fixed up ( they were very nice and ready to fix the chip, at this point I'm not even worried about the not straight parts. They ask me to sit down and my nail tech is working on me and another customer. I then watch two women walk in for a pedicure, my nail tech STARTS WORKING ON THOSE TWO WOMEN AND LEAVES ME THWRE SOAKING MY Nails. IT TOOK OVER AN HOUR TO FIX ONE NAIL AND THEY KNEW THEY MESSED UP TO BEGIN WITH WHICH IS WHY IM BACK. During this time, one woman was waiting to get her toes and nails done and openly stands up in the salon loudly stating she's paying up to $80 to get her nails done and she doesn't want to be left sitting there. I will NEVER go back to this place. They are always 1. Disorganized 2. Bad customer service 3. Simply a bad job on your nails read more

Sony was fantastic. I think she might be the owner. I loved my nails when I left. I like my fingers cut short and filed square. You'd be surprised how many nail techs just decide that they know better than I do and round my edges or can't seem to file nails in a straight line. I didn't have that problem here. My pedicure was thorough and relaxing, my toes were clean, with every spec of cuticle particles removed. When I finally looked down at my feet they were perfectly painted (without the tiny imperfections caused by an unsteady hand). If you haven't yet, give them a try. read more

I went to a different nail salon for years but moved out to the beach and wanted somewhere closer to home. This nail salon is not as fancy as my previous one but let me tell you, they do an excellent job! I have been twice now and will no longer go anywhere else. Everyone is detail oriented and my gel manicure has lasted well over 3 weeks each time and the pedicure over a month without chipping or the color becoming too dull. As I said, if you want a bougie salon experience this is not the spot, but if you want a clean nail salon with kind customer service and excellent prices, give them a try! read more

This is by far the best nail salon I have ever been to. The massages for the pedicures are incredible and the staff is very sweet. I highly recommend the Deluxe Pedicure. It is $42, but you get an amazing hot stone massage, parafin wax, back rub when drying - all the works! They take their time with you (pedicure is about an hour) and don't jip you on the massages like most places. I highly recommend Aliza or Amy, but I have never been disappointed with the other staff members. The salon is very clean and they use plastic liners in the feet soakers. They are also very good at cutting ingrown toenails - I was considering getting the surgery but now I do not have to because they know how to fix it. They also do not annoy you and try to upsell you like other salons and offer beverages - such a relaxing environment! Walking into Roxy Nails was the best thing I ever did, and i definitely recommend you give them a try! read more

I just moved back to Jax beach (my hometown) from California. I am relearning the area and businesses. After reading the reviews, I decided to come here to get my nails done. They have a menu as all places do for your pedicures, I chose the one second from the highest, I have never had a nail salon remove so much dead skin from my feet! I was amazed. They spent a ton of time on me and I brought my son along who likes to join me. He normally will just sit and talk to people or watch his iPad, but they let him soak his feet in the water, filed his nails, gave him a drink and some crackers. I wanted to try a trend and have each of my nails gel painted a different color. They were very supportive of me getting exactly what I wanted, they ran to grab a piece of paper for me to write down what colors I wanted. My nails turned out amazing and they said they guarantee my gel for 2 weeks!!! If you get a chip or anything just come in and they will fix it for free!? What?? I've never had a nail salon say this. They have my vote for sure! After posting about this place on my social media, a friend of mine says she drives to this place which is out of her way, just because of how good they are. read more

I've been going here for a few years now so I hate writing this review but I couldn't not. My nails look worse coming out than they did coming in. I shouldn't have to tell the lady to remove nail polish from the sides of my fingers, or that she might want to clip the sides. So sad, they're usually ok but this is two times in a row that it's been horrible. read more

Poor customer service and prices are always changing!! I tried to be loyal to this salon, but there were just too many problems! It seems that every time I get a pink and white fill, Sony always changes the price. It started with $25, then $35, then back to $25. She owns the salon...I wonder if she doesn't think I remember. I had a pedicure a few weeks ago from KIKI. I'm sure he is a nice person, but his pedicures are not what I'm used to. I was getting my nails done first, then off to a much needed pedicure. I literally told SONY that I would like someone other then KIKI. I know she heard me. Who do you think sat down to do my pedicure? Yep! Kiki! I asked for a polish change instead. Next to World Market, Roxy Nails was a painless walk in mani-pedi for $35. I hate getting my nails done but I really loved Amy on my pedi and Sony on my mani. Both did a great job of being gentle, getting the polish right up to the cuticle, and being so courteous. Amy is such a ray of sunshine, she knew everyone by name and made an effort to make everyone feel special. Sony was the maestro making sure all the tables were moving effectively. About 3 weeks ago I was in town helping my daughter move to apartments right around the corner from this place. We called late in the day around 4:30 and Thomas was able to get us in right away and was so friendly and did an awesome job. Pedicures for both me and my daughter and a manicure for my daughter. I am currently working in an office very close to Roxy Nails and decided to check it out. I was worried that it would be an absolute zoo a few days before a holiday but decided to stop in a little after lunch time. It was busy but I was taken to a table to get a manicure right away. A basic manicure is $15 (before tip) which is what I find to be average in Jacksonville. The man who did my nails did a really nice job and he did it very quickly. I was in and out in about 30 minutes (including waiting under the dryer) but my nails don't look rushed at all. No complaints at all. read more

I just moved here from Dallas and was somewhat anxious about having to find a new nail salon. I love gel manicures and hate for a Dremel to be used on my nails. Roxy' s takes the time to take off gel polish the correct way without using a Dremel. My daughters loved their treatments as well. One daughter is very picky about her dip manicure and is always happy. Everyone is friendly and they even stored my favorite wine when I brought it in for an appointment to have for future appointments! My nails last 3 weeks. 5 stars for ALIZA!! Super sweet, does a great, meticulous job without rushing, and gives the BEST massage for both the pedicure and manicure! (The massage is my favorite part so my big pet peeve is spending $40 for a pedicure and then basically having lotion gently rubbed in for me.) I've scheduled with her specifically a handful of times now and she has been very consistent. The polish always looks great and lasts as long as I could hope for!
