I have had consistently good service every time I have come, no matter who renders the service. They do their job, do what is requested, and do it well. Offering comfortable pedicures. I get the regular pedicure for $35. I don't do gel polish or anything. They offer you water as you enter and a warm greeting. They have TV's where you can watch an hgtv show, or listen to what they have on surround sound. I just like this place. It's simple. They have good service. And they do what you want and well. Made my appointment on Friday, 2/9/2024 and trusted appt scheduler that the assigned nail will take care of me. Got to my appointment early to pick my colors for my SNS service. Let's begin here, any new nail tech who provides service to their "new 1st initial meeting customer," should inquire how long he/she has been getting SNS. This is important since if the nail tech doesn't possess the greatest skills as the person who highly recommended verbally assured me during scheduling. Someone who's been getting this service for quite some time would immediately know the level of service the nail tech's is providing. (nail shapes to final nail result). At time of any appointment, especially initial service not yet experienced at this location, customers such as myself give full confidence & reliability to owner & employee. With that trust, do communicate with your customer who is getting their 1st experience on that particular service prior to their departure & actually look at the service given (hands/feet). Assure that your customer has received quality service. Be fully transparent with your customers who has vast knowledge of the SNS process or any nail salon services. Spent 3 hrs on a regular pedicure and manicure. Cut my toe and got upset at me for saying something about it so they switched to an other technician. The new technician messed up so badly doing my acrylic that the owner had to jump in to fix. Ended up charging me full price after cutting my toe and taking 3 hrs. Bad service over all. A friend regularly goes to one particular nail tech here and highly recommended her. I saw her nails and she had them completely decked out in different colors. They even glowed in the dark. I didn't want anything that extreme but liked her work. She showed me her Instagram page and I immediately decided I had to have her do my nails. Her name is Relia (just call her Lia) and she is at this nail shop only on the weekends so I set up an appointment with her for Saturday. The drive was a bit far but I believed she lived up to her reputation. She had my nails and eyebrows done in a little over an hour. We chitchatted about the health of my nails, where I went to get my nails done prior, and other things. She did an amazing job on both, so much that I feel like I could come back to her on the regular. I was on the fence about getting a pedi done but after such an awesome experience I caved. This was done by a sweet older lady who did everything to make sure that I was comfortable and non-thirsty (she asked me twice if I was sure I didn't want something to drink. I got some water the second time she asked) I sat in the chair totally relaxed as she used hot stones, her hands to massage, warm towels, and polished my toes. I have now visited this nail salon 3 times and will continue to go back! I always request acrylic overlay and my nails to be very short. I have gotten my nail done like this for a very very long time and this is the very first time the nail tech has delivered exactly what I have asked for. when I went into the salon I picked the gel color for my manicure and the owner asked if I wanted my toes to match. i said yes and he brought the bottles to the technician. it was darker on the side where I had my pedicure. I was then taken for my manicure and when I was done I paid and about to walk out I noticed my fingers did not match my toes. one was red and the other purple. I brought this to the owners attention and he said that I could have another coat put on. i told him it wouldn't change it because they are two very different colors. His only reply was it was the coordinating color OPI sent. well even so , they are clearly different colors. He didn't care I was unsatisfied .No other compensation or even try to rectify the situation. He just wanted me to go. Very POOR customer service!! So after $57 I did not get the service I paid for. I went here after getting my first set of acrylics, which were done pretty poorly at another location, and my nail tech was able to correct them with a fill in, some nice grooming, and new polish, and now they look beautiful! The shop itself is very open and spacious, with plenty of chairs for both mani's and pedi's. Beautiful paint and florals on the walls and beautiful fixtures. They have a huge selection of polish as well. Castle Nails is a 20 minute drive from me and slightly more expensive (only by a few dollars) than other places I priced, but it was well worth the drive and paying a little extra for great results. The 2nd time was durning Christmas so I figured that was the reason I sat for 30 minutes with foil & acetone on my nails until the cuticles burned. I must be stupid because when I went back today I thought it would be different. NO SUCH LUCK! The owner told us no and he didn't care if we spent $40k a month there and hung up on us. It is a bummer as we have developed good chemistry with the workers. Lovely nail salon. This is probably the largest nail shop I've ever been to and they have all of the latest OPI colors and I noticed they offer a few other nail polish brands such as Orly. Seemed like it was very busy when I went and I assumed there was a wait but I was taken back within 5 minutes. Staff is very friendly and the salon is CLEAN (plastic coverings inside pedicure tub). The techs take their time with you and my tech (Mailee) did a perfect job! Some might think this place is a little pricier than other nail salons but you get what you pay for. Great salon, I came with my mom since it was a national holiday and school was closed. My nail tech who did my manicure and pedicure was kind and generous, sadly I didn't catch her name. The pedicure was awesome, the bottoms of my feet used to be very dry but after my pedi, they couldn't be smoother and my manicure was just as pleasant. They offer soda as a refreshment.
