Roasted island creek oysters
Yickhong L.

Very good service. Went on a weekday for a celebration. Server (Astry) was very knowledgeable and answered our questions and explained some dishes. She was very attentive and filled our water frequently. We ordered the mussels, monkfish and haddock dishes with the banoffee pie for dessert. We also received complimentary roasted oysters which we weren't expecting. I preferred the mussels appetizer over the oysters though. Would recommend coming here to friends.

Crispy Fish Tacos

Four of us for dinner on a Monday night. Great parking, which is a huge bonus. Big lot out back. We sat in a booth. All the booths are designed to seat six so it was roomy but surprisingly difficult to hear each other. The restaurant interior has a lot of concrete and hard surfaces so the noise level was higher than expected for so few patrons. Food was delicious. We all had the Spicy tuna tartare to start. It was huge and really fresh. It was also pretty spicy so beware if you don't like spice. I had the fish tacos (2 to a serving) and loved them. Sizable serving and I liked the toppings of guac and house made salsa. Others had the scallops over pasta and also loved it. Dessert was shared by the four of us: banana cream pie. Big and delicious. They had some nice IPAs on tap and a good by the glass wine selection. Service was also good- well paced.

So fresh, so delicious!! We got the: -Crispy tempura maitake mushrooms: tasty but a little heavily breaded -Lager steamed mussels: the star dish of the night!! The mussels were so so fresh and the broth was so delicious. Loved dipping the sourdough into it -Fried Calamari: crispy and super fresh calamari. I would definitely order this again -Housemade Bucatini: I wasn't a fan of this dish it was very sour. We didn't eat much of this at all. -Pan seared fluke: this was the best plate we had. The fluke was very tasty and the vegetables were fresh. I loved the mushrooms. -Grilled salmon: fish was fresh but I didn't love the bed of mixed grains. -Tuna Poke Bowl: delicious! -Corn bread: yummy, maple butter was a nice touch -Waffle fries -Banoffee Pie: so delicious, I would order a whole pie again. Overall, the plates are hit or miss. Seafood on top is always good but the flavors or sides are okay. Service was great and the restaurant was nice.

Great fish and chips. One large piece. Fries were decent. Came for the clam chowder. Very authentic. Brussels sprouts were great and burgers on point. Staff were top notch. Excellent venue.

The food was pretty good but way overpriced. I had the tuna poke bowl and it was good. The menu did have a lot of variety and the drink selection was great! I went with a friend for dinner tonight and our waitress was nice. I highly recommend the bread rolls!

Our waiter was so kind and attentive! Food was amazing (highly recommend the seafood tower!) and dessert was spectacular as well. Ambiance was very cool. 5 stars!

I have been to row 34 many times before, but never this location. This location also brings a great menu with great ambience and a lovely staff. We started off with the tuna tartare. The portion was huge and as always - delicious! For dinner we tried the scallops with spaghetti and it was incredible. I really was not expecting it to be as good as it was. I will have to go back for more! For dessert we had the banana pie. Again - oh my goodness it was amazing. Highly recommend. Always a great night at row 34.

This was our first time at Row 34 to celebrate our elopement, and we were so lucky to have Astry serving our table for the night! Astry knew every item on the menu and how they were made, which helped us understand and make better decisions as first timers - & everything we ordered was delicious! We really enjoyed the lager steamed Maine mussels, and we even got the juice to go so we could dip our breads in it back at home both the fishes were amazing as well and were paired nicely with legumes fit for spring, and I loved that they swap out the menu for each season. We completed our dinner with banoffee pie (thanks to Yelpies recommendation!) and it did not disappoint. We were kindly offered complimentary drinks to go with it for our little celebration. We had no trouble making reservation day of on a weeknight and it was a very nice atmosphere, where we could enjoy our meal and hear each other talk throughout the night. Thank you Row 34 for the great night!

We came here for Dine Out Boston and it was so much food! We got mussels as an additional appetizer and it was absolutely delicious. The flavor of the sauce was perfect and there were so many mussels! The herb crusted haddock was perfectly cooked, loved the bed of lentils. Definitely would get it again. My fiance got the salmon and the flavor was good, but I preferred the haddock. The desserts were amazing, I was especially loving the butterscotch pudding.

Seafood Stew
Amy M.

7 PM reservations on a Thursday night. The place is kind of noisy and tables are close together. My friend and I ordered seafood stew and a scallops pasta dish. While there were plenty of muscle SHELLS in my stew, there were no muscles inside or otherwise incorporated in my meal. It was otherwise just OK. Certainly nothing I'd order again. Friend's pasta clearly said bay scallops so she was prepared for small, but they were darn near undetectable. Cappuccinos came out cold like tap water. Sent back, they were clearly microwaved. A different server came by to offer a redo, claiming to be an expert, and by golly she delivered a fresh, hot, delicious cappuccino to my friend, and took both caps off the bill. Frankly that's why I rated three stars vs two. I'm sure if either of us had complained about the food, they would have addressed it, but it was all about being disappointed in what we got, not that what we got was bad.

Mussels
Austin Z.

Great date night dinner at Row 34. The $1 HH oysters were a phenomenal deal for Boston area, and super fresh and quality. We also went with the Mussels which were delicious. What really made the dinner though was the service from Kendra! She was super friendly and attentive, and made sure to take care of us through the entire meal. Can't recommend Row 34 more if you're looking for some fresh seafood!

Filet'ing it at the table.

Went here with a colleague and absolutely loved it. Had to try the Row 34 oysters. They were from Duckbury (?)--a very exclusive area and they were delicious along with the yummy sauces. We were hesitant to try the whole fish since they said it isn't filet'ed before it got to the table but my colleague did a fabulous job with it. Great flavor! Brussel sprouts were also very amazing and crispy. I had no idea they typically are fried in a fryer? I didn't ask here but either was, total Yums all around. Vey hip lighting and set-up. We sat on the high tops closer to the bar area and the high energy was uplifting. Server was fabulous. Would definitely go again...

Ask the Community - Row 34

Do they have a kids menu?

I think so, not positive. They do have some kid friendly choices though.

Do they have a private dining room?

Hi, there's no private dining room but I believe the restaurant can carve out a space. The floor layout of tables lends itself to move tables around so they can create it. It is very open floor plan. There's two sections, one by the door and one by…

Do they have outdoor dining?

Yes. Row34 Burlington has outdoor seating, but the outdoor seating area is not very big. Go early or reserve!

We ordered ice water with lemon. About five minutes later, the water arrived--but without the lemons. We decided to let it go, and shortly afterward she returned to take our order. We ordered two salads: THAI PEANUT SALAD (added chicken) Napa cabbage, red cabbage, scallions, red pepper, peanut dressing, and crispy rice noodles. CLASSIC CAESAR SALAD (added shrimp) Romaine hearts, garlic croutons, shaved Romano, and creamy Caesar dressing. Then we waited. About 10-15 minutes later, our waitress stopped by to ask if we needed anything. We were fine. Another 15 minutes passed, and she checked on us again. About 10 minutes later, she stopped by once more and said she was going to check with the kitchen. The restaurant was only about half full, with plenty of open tables. We had ordered two salads--it doesn't get much simpler than that. Finally, about 45 minutes after we arrived, our lunches made their way to the table. My Classic Caesar Salad was overdressed, and the shrimp, while acceptable, was a bit dry. I didn't try the Thai Peanut Salad. Ironically, this was one of the few times I would have preferred eating at the Legal Sea Foods in Logan Airport, where they somehow manage to get good food to your table much more promptly. I doubt I'll return to this location. One tip: parking in the lot directly in front of Legal Sea Foods is very tight. I parked in the former Lord & Taylor lot around the corner, which was only a few minutes' walk away.

We started with hot and dirty martinis which came with blue cheese stuffed olives. The olives were clearly hand stuffed and very fresh, which honestly made a great addition to the martinis. We also ordered oysters and the tuna tartare appetizer to start. Both were great. The oysters were fresh and came with tobiko, which I've never had served with oysters before. Interestingly enough the tobiko was green instead of the usual orange and had a wasabi flavor to it, which was a really nice addition to the oysters along with the other traditional accompaniments. The ahi tuna was also great, no complaints there. For dinner we ordered two filets, one with truffle butter and the other with a red wine demi-glace. Both were cooked perfectly to the medium rare temperature we ordered and were incredibly tender and flavorful. We also ordered the lobster mac and cheese and the Brussels sprouts with bacon and maple. The lobster mac and cheese was a very generous portion, especially for a side, and tasted great. The Brussels sprouts were also delicious. Honestly everything we ordered was excellent. Our server was super friendly, attentive and helpful throughout dinner. Even the bread and butter they brought out when we first sat down was amazing. Overall I really don't have a single complaint about our experience. Someone else brought the same steak back a few minutes later and parts were overcooked and parts were still medium rare.
