Obviously by their ratings, I'm not the only one with crappy service and obviously the management does not care. We ordered 1 "large" pizza to be delivered to our house .9 miles away. We wanted delivery since we were enjoying the football game. I ordered on line and after an hour and half I called. The guy said they've been really busy and the driver should be there any minute. 15 minutes later, the driver shows up and said "sorry I'm late, none of the others wanted to make deliveries, so they called me in and I'm a little rusty." An hour and 45 minutes later, the pizza that was not hot, and the game was over and it cost $53.00 for 1 "large" "meat " pizza. We've been long time customers of this Round Table location until recently. They have increased their prices to make up for the state mandated wage increase, that doesn't take effect until April 1, 2024. Why so early? For comparison, the Guerneville Road location is $4.00 less and the San Clemente location is $10 less for the same large pizza. Then on top of that they add what they describe as "CA employer mandate". There is no CA employer mandate. It's a erroneous term to tack on a fee to make more money. Neither of the other two locations charges this elusive CA employer mandate fee. They have laid off their drivers and now use Door Dash. DoorDash a delivery service that does not have the proper pizza delivery products. We are about halfway between the Guerneville Road and Windsor locations. Nice people, but the quality of pizza is going downhill. First, Round Table stopped making pan crust for personal and small size pizzas sometime ago. Noted. And now, it's thin crust being made as a skinny for the same price. They're cheating their customers who are going to go elsewhere for pizza. What a shame this restaurant company is cutting back on what you pay--which is overpriced pizza as it is. Long gone are the days when I can order a personal or small pan pizza with a good variety of toppings and sauce options, including having parmesan cheese and red chili flakes at each (clean?) table. Friday was my daughter's fifth birthday and when her party location fell through at the last minute we tried this place and asked if they had an available party room. They were genuinely happy to accommodate us! The asst. manager Kristina is the best. She helped get everything together for us and was cheerful and kind- as was her entire crew! Should really be 3 1/2 stars. We did a baby shower there. When I called and set the reservation I told the guy who answered the phone 30/40 people. He said they had the perfect private room for us. I called the day before the event and spoke with an extremely friendly and sweet woman named Tara ( who is the main reason for them getting a higher star rating) She informed me we actually had the reservation for the smaller room (another group had the big room- but they would do what they could when we got there. Well when we got there the room was only set up for 26 people. Needless to say to say some of our guest were standing and eating in the hallway. The food was ok but pretty expensive and we had to keep asking for more plates and cups because they seemed to not have a lot on hand available. However Tara was great- she was doing whatever she could make us comfortable as she could. Once the larger room cleared out, she opened the windows and let us spill over into the other area. When I come to round table, I know what I'm getting, and I know what to expect. The service and pizza is always the same, and I appreciate that. If you haven't been to round table, the pizza is great but takes a little longer to cook. They have a large salad bar with almost any toping you can think of. Lots of options for sides, and fountain drinks. This location usually has a few beers on tap. They have a large dining area with lots of tables and booths, a party room, and a mini arcade. It's staffed by high school kids so the occasional mistake happens, but is never serious. Pizza delivery is standard an hour wait, but never disappoints. read more

This location recently decided to opt out of the rewards program and now charges a service fee (that differs in price depending on how you order). Let me start with some of the positives. The people working were very nice. They really seemed to care and do their best. Which is something I truly appreciate as a consumer. When we got our food home the pizza was good, the wings were good, the salad was fresh and the kids liked their cheese and the other pepperoni pizzas. I'm a Navy veteran so I always just ask (no big deal if places don't) if they offer VA discount. They didn't but the night manager or supervisor gladly stepped in and said, "no, but we'll give you the senior discount". Which was very kind and awesome. A few negative points now. When we ordered the person helping us didn't know how to ring up the kids meal. Said nobody ever orders it. No big deal. We sat and waited for our food. 15-20-25 minutes go by. At the beginning of our order we stayed it was to go. But it was listed as dine in. So our pizza was actually being walked around the dining room since they thought we were eating it there. We said it was to go. They boxed it up. Again no big deal. When our food started coming out they just started handing up boxes and with our food in it. It was raining out so we asked for plastic bags. Our wings were open and wouldn't stay closed. So finally they gave us a piece of tape to close it. The employees were all friendly. I honestly think all this place needs is a little extra training. Making sure things are ready to go out appropriately, making sure things closed properly and if not to just do it correctly. Making sure their cashiers know how to ring things up. It seems this place has a good team. A few minor tweaks here and there. We'll definitely come back and I would recommend this place. read more

There was a young lady there who seemed to be by herself and was making it look easy all while being very nice and helpful. They were fairly busy with pick up orders. Restaurant was clean,quiet (Monday afternoon) Anyways I had a personal pepperoni sausage,mushroom,and bell pepper pizza which came out hot and topped very well and was tasty. Went here for a Holiday party with about 20+ people and it was great! We had a room reserved during their buffet hours which cost $10 pp. We did not have to pay ahead or pay to reserve the room. Everything was set when we got there. The facility was clean, staff was attentive and nice and the food was great! The salad bar was well stocked, looked and tasted fresh. Avoid this place at all costs!! Not only is it out-dated, but they cheat. Here's our experience today. Went in for a buffet lunch and paid. The pizza buffet was old and the pizza was not updated during our 45 minutes there. Imagine if you re-heated pizza from the night before and served it as left-overs. We paid additional for drinks, but were told that the 16 ounce fountain drink we received was it. No refills. Fountains are the least expensive beverages out there. It costs very little to offer refills. The staff is friendly, and they are not to blame, they only follow orders from the "New Owner." Obviously, a terrible experience. So this review takes service and the taste of pizza into account. Is this the best pizza in the world? No. Is it very good? Yeah, I thought so. But note that it isn't the cheapest pizza. An employee named Maria was more than helpful to our party. She helped move tables, put up decorations, and give her opinion on how to situate the room so there was space to mingle. When everyone arrived, we all ordered our pizzas with the salad bar to start. The salad bar has a good selection of fresh toppings. I appreciate the fact that they had olive oil and balsamic vinegar as I stay away from processed salad dressings. I was able to make a huge salad with everything the offered. Thumbs up! I passed on the garlic twists though. Our group ordered a large veggie, pepperoni, and combination pizza. I only ate the veggie pizza. But it was gooood! They didn't skimp on the toppings. We had our soccer party Wed evening here. We ordered our pizza before the place was full of people. We waited a little more than an hour for our large thick crust gourmet Veggi pizza. Unfortunately everyone else got their pizza and left by the time we got ours. The pizza was good but service was terrible and disorganized.
