Once upon a time I worked with someone whose family used to own a Domino's location and even she admitted that Round Table is better and uses fresh ingredients. Papa John's skimps on the toppings, Straw Hat made me vomit, and Peter Piper merits a dishonorable mention for being the only pizza I've eaten (not by choice) that made me want to go to the gym and burn it off immediately afterward. In other words, Round Table is the only pizza chain that I enjoy. We got takeout today. One medium spinach and mushroom, and one large combo. Consistently tasty product with a snappy sauce and zesty toppings. I would've even preferred my combo with less meat! I'm sure I'll be the only person to write such a thing. I also like that the pizza isn't as greasy here. Great selection of sides as well. I like this place and wish I could eat here more often. As I am morphing into a fatty, I'm trying to cut back the amount of pizza that I eat, but I still come here every now and then. Those of you who complain about the price, go to the cheaper chains, but don't whine if it isn't fresh or the ingredients are cheaper. Round Table is superior. read more

I'm not even surprised this round table is rated 2 stars. They're over priced, the employees are rude and they always mess up. I'd much rather drive the distance and go to the Hercules one. Idk why, since I'm sure it's the same owner, but the pizza there is so much better, the customer service is better and they never goof up. If they do goof up they make sure to apologize and do the best they can to fix the situation. But, when I want delivery, I'm stuck with this Pinole round table. I went to order a few weeks ago and some lady answered the phone and all in one breath said "round table Pinole hold please thank you" and bam put me on hold. I figured they were busy.. but it wasn't even a weekend, it wasn't even Friday! Anyways, I later found out it was the manager, she said her name was Lily? Oh, she was terribly rude.. her customer service was horrible, she was sarcastic and I could literally hear her eyes rolling from the tone of her voice. Needless to say, I ended up not even finishing my order because her attitude was so draining and the last thing I wanted to do was spend another penny at this round table. this managers customer service was so bad, it had me wanting to boycott any round table that's owned by the same owner as this one. Come on guys! Better train your managers, they may be smiling in your face and kissing your butt but trust me, they're treating your customers like trash. Not the cleanest dining area I've come across in comparison to other Round Table Pizza (RTP) locations, but one of the most friendliness. The busser on duty has gone above and beyond. She willingly volunteered in providing us utensils, condiments, etc. If this the norm and expected of bussers, I definitely never experienced this at other RTPs. Great service just makes the food taste better. This RTP in particular shares the parking lot with In-N-Out Burgers. Ample parking available, but the drive thru line for In-N-Out stretched long which can be a bit discouraging. It's also a convenient location as it is easily accessible to the freeway. read more

Ordered on DoorDash delivery was fast! I was surprised that everything was packaged really well. I ordered chicken wings as Wingstop was closed during the Superbowl. When they arrived I bit into one of the Lemon Pepper wings and it tasted funky, it tasted like fish. I haven't had anything else to eat for the day except celery and peanut butter. I Also hadn't drank anything, but water. I was like, what the heck was that?!? Do they even sell fish? That was sooo odd. Only explanation I have is, did they have the chicken in the fridge with fish? Did someone put their own lunch with fish in the same fridge? Did someone cook fish in the same oil? Food is good but I will never eat in the restaurant again- it smells so bad in there!!!!! it smells like dirty old carpet and it's overwhelming!!! The counter service is okay but the two little ladies that deliver the food- one is an older Asian lady and the other is a Latina lady, are amazing in customer service. Great service as soon as I walked into store, nice female employee welcomed me, and politely asked if she could take my order. I have had great experiences here over the year's, but only frequent about four times a year cause I don't live close by. Took pizza to go, sat down to eat about thirty minutes later. Food was still hot, fresh & tasty. All ingredients mixed well together, I was impressed. The King Arthur large was more than adequate for two. Keep up the great work to the staff, had time to walk the dog in parking lot, thinking all those In & Out customers have no idea the easy process, and super clean restrooms that exist here. Out of the countless times I've come to this Round Table location this is the one time I'll remember most. After a long hot day my family and I decided to come have some pizza and we walked in to find the place packed. So on top of it being packed no tables were free but upstairs. After going upstairs we found that it was uncomfortable and hot! No AC! So on a hot day in a hot restaurant is not an ideal way to enjoy my meal. I have been ordering at this location for many years, and I always order the same basic pizza with three toppings. Sometimes.... they include all three toppings. Yesterday I tried placing an order online, which wasn't working. I called to place the order, and the employee couldn't even enter my phone number. Spoke with a different person and they took my order, and when I tried to pay for the delivery pizza with my credit card, they hung up on me. There's quite a few Round Table locations near me but this is my favorite for dining in. The location is one of the biggest and busiest, conveniently located across from Target and next door to In-N-Out. Parking can be somewhat of an issue as the In-N-Out drive through is next door. The Round Table menu is the same across all locations except for seasonal pizzas, my favorite being the Artisan pie. On this recent visit, I was especially excited in trying the Farmer's Market pizza. The pie is in season and offered at $15 for a Large or in flat bread variation for $6. The diner also has a salad bar for those interested; however, I decided to pick up. The pizza was ready in fifteen minutes and looked great when I got it home. My only concern was a black glaze on top of the pizza that resembled BBQ sauce. I took a taste and was relieved it wasn't BBQ sauce, but a tangy balsamic glaze. As I took in a few slices, I loved the fresh ingredient taste. The pie consisted of heirloom tomatoes, primo pepperoni, a three-cheese blend, a delicious marinara sauce, and fresh basil. The combination of fresh ingredients gave it a real gourmet taste. The ripe tomatoes, crusty pepperoni, cheese blend, tasty marinara, and thick crust gave for one delicious pie. My only advice is to opt out of the balsamic glaze. Lastly, for those dining in with kids, this location has a kids play area and now offers free WIFI. The staff tends to always be friendly and engaging with their regulars. All in all, a great atmosphere and laid back diner to enjoy a pie and a pitcher of brew. read more

Called on a Sunday before 4 and I was on hold for 8 minutes before someone took my order.. and was given a pick up time for 25 minutes after my call. When I picked it up there was probably 6 or 7 people working, a few in back and front so not sure why of the long hold time. Pizza was slightly disappointing. I really wanted to try RoundTable since it had been a while. However, it was very disappointing I was in the store and waited 30-40 minutes for my pizza it was as if they had forgotten me. When I got home the pizza was cold, there was very little sauce and cheese. When contacting the manager she suggested I needed to order extra sauce and cheese. Kid play area is a major plus! although I think they need to have more lights in that play area towards night time can get pretty dark. the pizza is consistently good here not the best pizza there is but will do. Grrrrr, I am so frustrated with my delivery experience here. We ordered a medium Maui Zaui to be delivered on a Monday night at 6:30pm. An hour later, we had a CHEESE pizza delivered. I spent $28 including tip on a plain old cheese. When I called to let them know of the error, I was promptly transferred to the manager (they seem to have this routine down) and offered to have the correct pizza delivered in another hour. I declined and asked that I be fully refunded. The manager agreed and I reconfirmed he would refund my credit card. Well, one month later, no action has been taken and now I am going through my credit card company to get refunded since the item I purchased was not correctly delivered. Seriously more work than it's worth to get this refunded, but it's the principle of not giving these guys my money. (yes, I'm vindictive like that). I recommend taking into consideration the other reviews here about poor customer service. I won't be ordering from this location again. I've always been happy with other Round Tables. If I could have given the Pinole Round Table zero stars, I would have. We have given this round table so many chances, and are disappointed time after time. We have opted to going to Hercules Round Table which is great! The last time we ordered a pizza from the Pinole round table the cheese was literally burnt, like brown and crispy on top, so we ordered another pizza from the Hercules RT because we really wanted pizza and it was beautiful. I've added a pic of the Hercules pizza with a slice of the Pinole pizza held next to it. A few months went by before giving them another chance. We gave them another chance tonight.... they have a new stuffed crust pizza which we ordered. And when it arrived it was clearly not stuffed at all. By this time, it's past 8 pm so of course we were all starving so we started to eat it. My husband called to see if we could get a partial refund since we paid for stuffed crust and did not get that- they first proceeded to argue with him, then the manager came on the phone and told him they could remake the pizza which would be here in about an hour. But we would have to give them back the uneaten pizza. Since we already started eating the pizza, like I said, we were starving, she pretty much said we are out of luck and said we ordered a stuffed crust pizza with no stuffed crust. Oh Roundtable how I love thee, I personally love roundtable pizza it is my favorite. Their King Arthur Supreme Is the King of flavors!!! And in regards to the pizza this location lives up to the roundtable standards, they make the pizza just like you order it and delicious Everytime. Now other items on the menu do not. Specifically the wings, at least the Boneless Buffalo wings. We ordered some on our latest visit and we're not pleased it cost $10 for 16 but they tasted as if they had just been pooped into a microwave oven. So form the taste I'm assuming they come pre-breaded ready to heat up. And while this might be convenient for Roundtable my palate would like to object. So I am knocking off two stars for that. Within the past month I've ordered almost $200 worth of pizzas and all of them were undercooked. It never used to be that way years ago the quality control has gotten no control. In regards to ordering online, it's very easy and clear to use. The website lets you know right away if delivery is available and gives an approximate time of when the order will be ready. Service: I have never had any problems with the staff. They've always been helpful and efficient. Food: Really good. My family gets the Italian gourmet pizza, twists, and wings. The pizza is very good. Tastes better than Pizza Hut or extreme pizza. Twists are usually very good but I'm knocking half a star because sometimes they are soft and cheesy, on others, they are overcooked. The wings are as good as you're going to get when you order wings at a pizza place. Do not do business with Round Table in Pinole. Ordered a delivery on 9/22/17. Took forever to do the phone order because the person taking my order was borderline illiterate. I had a feeling my order would get screwed up and sure enough it did. Quoted a price of $26 and change and ultimately got charged $30.31. Took an hour and 15 mins to get the pizza on an off time. Handed the delivery person my coupon $18.99 for triple play pepperoni) and pointed out the price was wrong. The driver agreed and said he'd go back and fix it but he didn't. I checked my bank statement the next day and I was charged $30.31. I call to resolve the issue and they weren't willing to correct their error. In addition, although I like their sauce, the pizza itself looked thrown together. Pockets of the pizza had no cheese. Seemed to be no pride in making a good pizza.
