This Round Table Pizza location is one of the many places to eat inside the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort in Honolulu. My family loves Round Table Pizza and so we decided to check it out one of the nights we were on vacation for dinner. I was completely shocked to see that this location is a sit down and order at your table kind of deal - I have never been to one like this with a server and everything! We ordered a large half King Arthur Supreme, half Chicken Garlic Gourmet and 6 Garlic Twists to share plus the kids ordered 2 different personal 1 toppings as well. I also ordered a BBQ Kalua Pig Sandwich because the menu stated that they offered exclusive sandwiches with fresh baked bread at this location. How could I pass that up? I did not try the pizza, but my husband said the dough might have been a tad undercooked - he liked the Garlic Twists though. As for the sandwich, it was good, not great - but good. It was massive too and I was only able to finish half of it. The sandwich came with a side of Mac Salad which I thought was pretty bland too. The service was great, the pizza was but the salad was very small and a little expensive for just lettuce, couple thinly sliced carrots, tomato and cucumbers. So we had a late running night and we figured let's just grab pizza at the Hotel. Big mistake on our part. The pizza lacked flavor and was a poor presentation of a pizza for emost customers. I would have expected more flavor they were also really greasy. The last thing I wanted to say something about this was the most expensive pizza I had ever had 2 smalls pizzas $53.00. It's located at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, downstairs of Italian restaurant. I did the takeout of personal size double pepperoni pizza. The pizza was ready within 10 minutes. I hurried home excited because as a lactose intolerant person, I rarely eat pizzas and when I do, it has to be with supplements. However, the pizza was extremely salty and greasy. I was so disappointed. I noticed that the pepperoni was the one that was salty and I requested for a double. Regardless, it was unusually salty. Lastly, they charge you extra for using a credit card. We ate here on 9/14, only had about a 10 minute wait....and it was worth it. We ordered the large Pineapple pizza and it was delicious! Four of us split it and it was just enough for all of us. We visited this pizza place during our stay at Waikiki, we stayed at the Ilikai Hotel but went for a walk inside the Hilton Village and found this place and wanted to give this place a try. We realized that we made a good decision on this one. We didn't make any reservations and waited for 10 minutes before we got a seating. The waiter was very courteous and answered all our questions on vegetarian options. We ordered some garlic bread, cheese pizza, vegetarian pizza, vegetarian pizza, and Veggie panini for 4 for us as we had a long day and needed some filling food. All the items tasted very good and we are glad we tried this place. The drinks were refilled, and the waiter did a great job. This place is maintained well but not an intimate place or anything. Overall great experience with my family here at this RTP at the Hilton Resort. Here are the reasons why: 1. Reservation for table of 10 was easily done. Very good communication and follow-up and reminders about reservations 2. Our waiter Christian went above and beyond. He set up tables for our large group and was the only one taking care of our table and also helping other families. He deserves 10 stars! 3. Ordering was easy and our food came right away 4. Large portion sizes. We ordered 3 large pizzas (King Arthur which contained a lot of meats and was a little bit spicy yum, Hawaiian pizza, and supreme veggie). All 3 flavors were delicious and loaded with topping. Also ordered their Caesar salad and Cobb salad. Both were fresh and tasty. 5. Drinks were always refilled without even asking and we felt very taken care of. 6. Good ambiance and clean interior I would highly recommend coming here with large parties and you can see the staff here can handle it plus also handle to go orders smoothly. After a long flight, a quick turnaround to get up in the morning, and zero energy to taxi it anywhere, I decided to make the short walk from my hotel to this pizzeria. Turns out. Last year where I was here, I had lunch here. It was an instant reminder that my food wasn't going to be the greatest. It's not the yummiest of places. It's not the biggest. But it gets the job done just enough. I went with a personal pizza which cost 15 bucks, a Caesar salad for 10ish, and 3 garlic twists for 8 dollars. Plus tax and tip, it came out to be around 42 dollars just for one person. I think the variety was the best way to go since no one item is tasty enough. With the mixing and matching, I was able to be content enough. The pizza wasn't as cheesy or gooey as I like it to be. The garlic cheese twists were cheesy but not very flavorful outside of that. And the salad was pretty much what you'd expect. A salad. Ironically enough. The salad was my favorite part. The dressing was actually quite beautiful. Super creamy. I went and picked it up and came back to my hotel to eat. But the place is pretty standard. Two TVs on the wall. A dozen or so wooden tables and chairs. Pretty cramped space. The staff was the bright spot however. You could tell they were tired at the end of their shift but they kept pushing through with a smile. So, I'm originally from California and close to it anymore, I miss Roundtable Pizza SO MUCH! We were staying in Kauai for the week and we decided that we would fly to Oahu so we could have Malsadas at Leonard bakery and Roundtable Pizzas, and then fly back the same day....it was really worth it! This is only the second time that we've been to this roundtable location, however we were waited on but the same man that waited on us two years ago We were given exceptional service and the pizza was out of this world! The restaurant itself is very modest and needs updating however the pizza itself is so good that it wouldn't matter the appearance of the inside of the restaurant. I've noticed that chain restaurants typically get a lot of poor reviews, (i'm guessing this is mostly due to poor Customer Service) but if you're interested in having a terrific pizza then you should give this a try! read more

The customer service we received upon entering this resturant was so bad that we straight up walked out before being seated. We entered through the beach side door when someone walked out and held the door open for us (apparently this is the back door). When we walked up to the front desk (which is right when you walk in the front door) there was a tall male worker who rudely told us that we would have to leave out through the door we came, walk around the building (it was raining) and enter through the front door. We then asked for clarification because we were literally standing where you would enter from the front door, and he VERY RUDLY said "you can't just seat yourselves". We never tried to seat ourselves, we didn't even ask for a table, all we did was walk in the door and stand by the front desk to be greeted and seated. That already set a horrible tone for the resturant for us. We eventually asked if we could sit down to dine in. The worker told us that there is a 17% automatic gratuity that would be charged to our group of 10 people- totally understandable, but the way he said it was in a demeaning tone, as if he didn't think we were planning on tipping. I work in the bar/resturant industry and I ALWAYS tip at least 25% so I was immediately again- offended. We walked out, costing the resturant our service in a basically empty resturant already. The vibe the worker gave was just inappropriate and rude. If I was his manager there is no way I would tolerate staff treating customers like that. Other members of my party were very upset as well and we said we will no longer go there when we visit Hilton Hawaiian village, which is pretty often. read more

While staying a week in the Hilton village roundtable sounded like a great option after a long day. Some comfort food always a consistent product. Flat out, avoid this place. We walked in at 7:15. Place was packed out on a Tuesday. OK no problem. Happen to catch a family that was getting up from the table felt like we just scored big! I asked the person clean up the table if we could go ahead and take this table over when he is done. Please know we were there only ones looking for a table at this point. He told me that I needed to go to the front door and wait to be seated at a table. I explained to him that I have never had to be seated at a round table and that I could do that, but there was no one else waiting for a table so could we please take the table? He again repeated himself at that point. I walked up to the counter where my wife was talking to The attendant at the register and explained to him the situation. He said he was sorry, but they are attempting to close up the back part of the restaurant. The whole situation at this point was confusing. The entire restaurant was packed out. There are 3 1/2 hours from closing. What did them closing the back of the restaurant have to do with us? The table we wanted was right next to the front register. That is when we decided that this did not feel like a good option tonight and we did not trust the food we were gonna get based on the looks we are getting from the employees. If you want pizza, I'm guessing you should probably just find a local place that doesn't want to close part of the restaurant 3 1/2 hours early. Such a shame because we love roundtable. read more

Wow one of the best pizzas I've had. We got the Maui Zaui pizza. (Large $33) This isn't your regular Round Table. I don't know how they cook this pizza, but I've been to Round Tables before, and they never taste this good. This particular pizza is sweet, little spicy, and savory. It's got it all. Highly recommend. Ingredients taste really FRESH. Sauce was sweet & spicy. Nice fresh green/red onions , pineapple, bacon crumbles, fresh diced tomatoes, ham, lots of cheese. Service was FAST.
