The service here is usually good, food is great, I really liked coming here. I gave one star becuase I came here this weekend and the management/employers are awful. I was sitting right up front and some girl started screaming and cussing at another employee right into the dining room! it was unbelievable I couldn't believe what I was seeing/hearing. If my kid was with me I would be calling the store owner right now! This obviously shows poor management to let an employee act that way. I really hope she isn't a manager there talking to her staff like that, I would quit immediately. I am very dissatisfied with how I was treated at this restaurant by the manager Kelly. I eat at Round Table often its one of my favorite pizza places and this location is the closest to my house. Today 11/30 I bought 3 pizzas, twists and wings for curbside pick up @4:17PM. I arrived at 4:18PM and my order wasn't ready, which was no big deal. I waited until 4:33PM when Kelly brought out our order. She gave us 4 boxes but I couldn't find the wings I ordered. I called to let them know I was missing the wings. That's when she told me that the wings were put in the same box as the twists. I then told her that in the future if they cannot do that because I don't eat meat (the wings are for my sister) and I don't want the wings touching the twists. Instead of apologizing and telling me that they would refrain from doing that again Kelly proceeded to make it seem like it was my fault for not specifying that I don't eat meat and that I didn't want 2 separate orders to be packed in the same box?? We went back and forth over the phone for a bit then she hung up on me mid sentence. I don't think I was asking for too much. I didn't ask for the food to be remade or for a refund. All I wanted was an apology and for them to realize not to package two separate orders in the same box, most people don't like their food touching anyway. I've been eating at Round Table in many different locations for years and this has never happened to me and I've never been treated like this. I will not be returning to this location again. They just lost a very regular customer who would eat here 2 or more times month and spend over $80 every time. read more

We will never give this location another chance! Ordered a large combo on 2/8/15, and if we used a magnifying glass, we might have been able to see a couple vegetables. Crust was like cardboard but the best part was while sitting in the dining room waiting for the order, we were treated to a litany of F bombs from a worker talking to the shift supervisor about a beer party he attended and how drunk he got! Had great pizza at the round table in Lodi so decided to give Galt a try again. This order just refreshed my memory as to why you should never waste your hard earned money here. Pizza has minimal toppings for one. I requested a delivered Well done pizza which I made sure on my order it said Well done and of course it arrived...NOT well done. When I called they were short with me and tried to tell me I didnt put it on the order. I offered to just accept the pizza they delivered if they wanted to give me a discount or coupon for our next visit...but they refused. I was craving for pizza today and I must tell you the round table in Galt is the best pizza joint in town. the lady at the Reg was very helpful and she asked what kind of pizza I wanted for Buffet within 5 minutes I was eating fresh hot pizza the twist we're soft and fresh and when I had a question the manager Stacey was super professional in answering my questions this is a place that I would come every Tuesday when I come into town . I can't believe the cleanness of this restaurant too. I'm so happy to have gotten a chance to come eat at this restaurant. Stacey was amazing in answering all my questions about pizzas and literally they made my pizza as I was ordering. I am amazed on their customer service. Also, I wanted to add in I saw someone cleaning and bussing and making pizzas and working really hard and I wanted to let the manager know that employee was working really hard and I was surprised that it was the manager. I believe his name was Stacey. I will def let all my friends and family know to come eat at this restaurant. You have gained a forever customer thanks to your employees and managers. About 6 months ago I ordered a pizza for delivery from this Round Table and had no real issues..In my opinion the pizza itself was just ok, not great, so I haven't had it for a while. Today I have no car so I figured I'd have them deliver a pizza. I was told they don't deliver to my " location". What? I told the girl on the phone that I've had delivery at this house by them before and she confirmed with her manager they don't deliver here. No joke..I am literally a 3 min drive away!!! I hung up the phone, and called Mountain Mikes who is way further away from us off of Twin Cities Rd and guess what? Pizza is on the way! Just has me shaking my head..a place 3 min away won't deliver but a place 12 min away will?? I find it absurd these people are advertising a delivery option but would not deliver 2 miles away! Ordered an extra large half combo half pepperoni - to go. Pizza was hot and delicious. No complaints, only comments about how yummy the pizza was. Best in Galt. Taking away one star because the time previously, my hubby had to wait forever for our pick up order - he said people in line were not getting taken care of in a timely manner, but once he got our pizza home, all was good. Went April 8th 2014. Pizza is always good. But the place is so run down it almost keeps you from eating it their. Seats you almost fall through. Carpet with so much ground in food and dirt you could easily use it for foot sliding. The salad bar was filthy dirty from old dried up produce and dressing all over the other lettuce, tomatoes etc etc. The counter service is real bad. Eight people waiting to place orders and one person working the counter all the while as she was yelling at the people making the pizza. I hate to agree with everyone else on here, but there are some things you should stay away from. Now granted if you actually get a pizza on time then it can be good but more than once my family and I have gone in to this particular Round Table and sat waiting for fresh food during their so-called buffet. I don't really expect much of a restaurant in Galt, most places here are rather run down as it is, but I do expect for tables to be bussed more than once every hour or so. It feels dirty, the bathrooms are usually dingy and gross, and what's more, you have to stalk everything in order to actually get food, or wait a year and a half when you ask for a certain pizza. More than once we have left dissatisfied, but seeing as it is the most decently priced pizza buffet nearby, then that is all you really can get. I would recommend trying to find somewhere else if you can, but if you do happen to go I recommend coming far earlier than you wanted just so you can leave by the time you want to and have food that is half way decent. read more
