I don't believe the reviews I read were accurate. My experience is the restaurant is clean. I drove from Lodi to Galt for the excellent salad bar and excellent price for an individual salad to go with the pizza I picked up. I really enjoyed the food and will drive to Galt rather than go to the salad bar in my town (not Round Table, Lodi.) So today I went here for lunch. I ordered a personal cheese pizza with olives along with six garlic Parmesan twists and a fountain drink all because I have not been to a Round Table in quite a few years mostly after all, the company started selling off individual locations and unfortunately, many new owners don't know anything about the pizza industry. They make a lot of unnecessary changes and they run the restaurants into the ground, but this had nothing to do with that. As I was sitting there after I had finished my lunch, I would say it was around 2 o'clock in the afternoon I had just come back to my table from getting a refill when I sat down, and I realize that there was a cockroach sitting on my table directly in front of me clearly not worried about me and unfortunately, I wasn't able to kill it I tried to take out my phone and get a picture, but I wasn't able to as it ran away which was unfortunate. For my lunch, I paid about $26 so I went up and asked for the manager. I believe it was the assistant manager. I spoke to she was very nice very apologetic and I just explained to them that they should do everything they can to keep the restaurant as clean as possible as it was very dirty when I went in there I believe mostly because the lunch rush just ended along with the buffet. They're probably shortstaffed so a lot of cleaning wasn't getting done, but either way she explained to me that unfortunately it probably came in from outside, which is as the area around the businesses very un unclean the front of the store where I parked smelled heavily of urine probably from homeless people which is another unfortunate situation We spoke for a short time she did offer me a refund. I told her it wasn't what I was asking for, but I did take it anyway just because it's kind of gross. I do believe that this company needs to take care of this. I do believe that if the health department went in there, I'm sure that they would find much more than what I just saw and hopefully either the owner or the corporation would do everything they could to remedy this problem as I don't think any, customer should have to experience bugs on their table while they're eating. As far as the customer service goes, I would say they have pretty good customer service. The quality of the food was just basic Round Table which growing up was always my favorite. After many years of a lot of terrible experiences. They have fallen by the wayside again Inside this restaurant was extremely dirty and then of course cockroaches at your table is nothing that you ever want to experience. The bathroom smelled horribly like urine covered in graffiti and it looks like no one ever cleans it so I do believe a lot of this falls on the restaurant manager probably just not following protocols making sure the employees are cleaning. I believe everybody should take pride in the business that they work at, but unfortunately, this is another location that is just falling short in many areas hopefully they can get it under control, but I definitely would never return to this location and to be completely honest I don't think anyone else should ever order from this location ever again. read more

I would give this place a no star review. Me and my family went in and spent around $120 on 01/02/2025 . Slow service add the fact that we were the only ones there. We waiting longer for a beer of pitcher that never came, the lady upfront was dazing off not doing nothing behind the cash register and when I told her that we hadn't received the pitcher she said she was too busy that she forgot . Recently I went to round table to get a personal pizza and had John B as my server. It was spectacular service, he made sure my order was exactly as I wanted it, asked how crunchy I liked my crust and if he could do anything to make it more to my liking, and was really attentive to my needs. Ok, first let me say, I get it, it's Round Table. I've been eating at this location for quite sometime now. It was never 5 Stars but hey it used to be pretty good. The lunch buffet (before Covid) was good and it was reasonably priced. Like all eating establishments Covid did a lot of damage. I continued to visit during the pandemic and it was still good, even the staff was always friendly and helpful. I dropped by today for the lunch special, which consists of a personal size pizza with 4 toppings and a drink, all for under $10! Try that anywhere else. The service was friendly and fast. The pizza was very well made and tasted great. What more could you ask for? Well, the place could use a a good cleaning and an update. It's showing it's age and needs a good scrubbing. Been coming to the Galt Roundtable for over 25 years- they are that good. We've tried the other places, and yes they were ok, but they didn't have the whole package of fantastic pizza, friendly service and great seating for dining in when we wanted to dine out. The service- Although we entered the forced and guilted pre-tip where you give a tip when you pay (you don't want to not tip when people are handling your food behind walls) the young woman came out and dropped the pizza on our table so unlovingly it shook the table, dropped off a handful of Parmesan and red pepper packets on the table and was gone. Usually we are asked if we need ranch or anything. We usually leave another 5 dollar bill on the table. Maybe it isn't her fault and she's overwhelmed or unhappy working there because of management but who knows. As far as Round Table themselves the pizza didn't have that great taste that they've always had, that's pretty much always been on par with Mountain Mikes. How can a medium pizza with extra cheese not be good? With the pre tip and taxes we were already close to 40 dollars in, without drinks. To add to what Round Table is doing there is no more real plates, Parmesan or red pepper shakers on the tables. It was like we ordered to go and definitely didn't feel like we went out for lunch. We were starving so we choked it down. It was about as good as Little Caesars but a bit depressing because Round Table is no longer "One of the last Honest Pizzas". Went in today with my family today for the first time and the cashier in the front had the worst attitude ever. She was rude from the start, answering questions as if she was forced to, and even forgot to bring out our paid pitcher of beer. We asked for a refund and she claimed she was "busy" but yet 5 minutes before was just walking around the restaurant AFTER we had asked her for our pitcher for the second time. We had an issue in the past with our pizza missing the chicken, and they were nice enough to send us a coupon for another pizza, for next time. It's about taste right? I often find myself coming back here for the lunch, but avoid coming at lunch time on days of the flea market (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) it can get packed. This location has a really great rewards program though something called "Five Stars" you can also download an app to track your rewards progress, at-least once a month I receive a free lunch and/or dinner buffet. My favorite pizza has to be the King Arthur's Supreme but it is EXPENSIVE which is why I like to have my fill when its all you can eat during lunch (or dinner when they have it typically on Tuesday evenings) I have never had bad service here , it just can get busy sometimes, I would really love if the owner did a nice modern refresh/re-design on the interior as it has not changed in the 20+ years I have lived here. The absolute worst pizza joint I've ever been too! We waited for over an hour for 2 pizzas and a breadstick. The place was fairly empty and a complete disaster inside. The salad bar had lettuce frozen to the bottom of the container and when it was brought to their attention they just poured more lettuce on top of it! The manager told me one time that every pizza place orders their ingredients from Saladinos including round table. However round tables crusts and sauces are exclusive to them and patented. I am currently sitting at this round table, after waiting an hour for my pizza, and then receiving the wrong pizza. You know, round table pizza is good, though a little pricey. But this location is just awful. They said 15 minutes, and at an hour I went up to the cash register to check on my pizza, to find it sitting under the heat lamp. I asked if I could grab it, and the cashier reluctantly agreed to let me have the pizza that I paid $30 for. Then, wrong toppings. She said "sorry about that" and turned away. Few min. later, notice that a family that came in and ordered after us, have already received their pizzas. Go back up, they said it will be another 7 min. or so. 15 min. later, still no pizza.
