Great pizza, Family owned business and old school vibes. That's how I would summarize this place. I've been coming here for years and this is the first time I've dined in. This place has a very nostalgic feel, which I find comforting. The pizza is always delicious. The family that runs this place is always very kind. Keep in mind they don't have many employees, so on a busy Friday night it can be a bit of a wait. My family and I enjoyed a nice Friday night meal here and other families seemed to be having a good time as well. I will continue to support this place. read more

Been to this place 2x now. First was to go and this most recent was eating in. When I tell you the crust on this pizza was thee most perfect blend of crisp and flavor I'm not lying. We got half meat lover half pepperoni and an order of breadsticks. The lady at the counter was friendly and attentive but the food speaks for itself. I think we found our new pizza place. We ordered a combo pizza that was honestly so good. The ingredient were fresh, the crust was crispy but not overly done and it wasn't greasy. Even the next day in the air fryer for a few minutes it tasted fresh. Service was good. However we decided to try a local place since everything is getting expensive and we decided to support the community. The crust is literally so fluffy and every piece was a cheese pull. I see there is a lot of 5 stars but I can't say I had a 5 star experience from there. I don't know if the ratings are real but here's my opinion. Pizza was good but not that good. The place looked a little run down no good video arcade games for the kids and it seemed like they didn't have a lot to drink in certain things beer or sodas. It was my father in laws bday and we took him there and my in laws just wanted to order certain things and they were being told they didn't have this or that. So they got the basic and we couldn't move tables together to sit together. I don't know why but that was weird. The place wasn't busy we was the only family there but ummmm okay. Pizza was good but greasy. Out of 10 points it was a 6 good crust and combination was good. Pepperoni wasn't all that. And I didn't taste the wings but they looked decent. So even there was some things I didn't like about the place and its rules supposely I can't rip it bad. Just wish they be more chill on things especially if your facility ain't busy lol. Have a soda fountain outside at least for people to serve themselves. My rant is done lol. read more

I decided to swing by Franco's for lunch today because it's been a very long time since I've been here. Every time I was craving pizza from here the timing wasn't right for me so since I saw it was open today while driving by I thought no time is better then the present to eat here so I did. I ordered a small combination pizza, but I asked for no pepperoni and add olives, which she did for me without any hesitation and I don't think she charged me for the olives which I appreciate. I also purchased a can of coke and 2 small sides of ranch dressing, which is made in house I believe. I asked if they made ranch and she said yes. I haven't tried it yet though. Hold on a second and I'll try it..... ok the ranch dressing is definitely made in house. That's great because there's nothing like homemade ranch dressing. When I say homemade I'm talking Hidden Valley mix. That's the best to me. Anyways the pizza looks amazing. It's as heavy as it can be which is a good thing too. Hmm. Ok I'm going to eat some and finish my review.... Wow this pizza is amazing. It's better than I remembered actually. The crust is soft and fluffy yet crisp when I first bite into it. The toppings are fresh and are of abundance. These days most pizza places don't put a good amount of toppings on the pizzas they make so this is great. The service was very good and everything was very clean. The restroom was extremely clean and I love that. I will be back again. It's too bad there isn't a salad bar anymore but I definitely understand. I'm pretty sure items would go bad before they're able to be used and it would cause a loss of money for the owners. Maybe if more people come here for pizza business can pick up for them and stuff like a fresh salad bar can return. The food is definitely worth it so if you haven't visited Franco's Pizza in a while then you really should. You won't be disappointed. I really am sorry about this review, but in my honest opinion, this is how I felt. I love pizza I eat pizza all the time I might have a pizza two times a week. I'm a pizza connoisseur and I was staying in Lodi over Christmas break and decided to try a pizza place I've never tried before very sweet inside. Very nice friendly staff, but the pizza was just horrible. I got a combination and the sausage tasted so awful. There was a lot of toppings, but the bread was really doughy really soggy. The crust was good. There was a lot of vegetables, but man that sausage tasted very foul like spoiled sausage almost and then we also got a pineapple and ham pizza, and there was hard pieces of pineapple almost like rock texture. The pizza was not anything special. I always ask myself when I come back again and this I would not I would not be back for this Pizza at all. There was one and done for me. read more

Went here tonight after seeing local reviews. We ordered a Supreme pizza hold the sausage and add pepperchinni. They did an amazing job but we wanted the pepperchinnis to be cooked on pizza which they didn't understand. Had a pitcher of beer and all was very tasty. Service excellent and cleanliness fantastic. However does not compare to our favorite pizza in area. Very nice people but location not great. Always looking for new places to support yelp. read more

Ill start off by saying we came across this place by accident... literally! Met the owners when we were all involved in a multi vehicle fender bender. Now I have to say this place did not disappoint. We had a pepperoni, a combo and a small Mexican combo the crust was flaky, cooked perfect. I could not get enough. Positive complaint - the toppings were falling off! My husband loved the Mexican combo which haf jalapeños, chorizo, tomato, bell peppers, onion. He said perfect amount of spice. The combo was ideal for me as it did not have any olives (I hate olives) The restaurant, while a little dated has PLENTY of space for a nice gathering with big families. My Southern Belle wife kidnapped me and took me for a secret getaway in Lodi, CA. It was definitely worth being the victim of this class A felony for our wedding Anniversary. Day two I was craving some pizza. I whipped out the Yelp and found Franco's pizza in Lodi. We ordered two personal pizza's over the phone and a garlic bread. One Salimi, mushroom, olive, and light red sauce. And for me a MEAT LOVER. At this point in my existence I just say give me the Meat Lover. I don't even ask what's on it because you gotta be a little risky. I loaded the boo up and drove to Franco's. We arrived and I was greeted by a sweet grandmother behind the counter. The sweet grandma brought the two pies out onto the counter, opened each box to confirm our pies were 100%. I can't remember a restaurant doing that with any to-go order of mine. Awesome service and attention to detail Grandma Franco. Getting a peek at those pies on the counter gave me the speed racer visions, so we hauled major A** through Lodi. Boo and I straight destroyed the Honda car clubs on the boulevard. Once back at The Farmhouse we laid the spread out. WOW do you see these pics Joe Exotic Nation. I was straight love at first bite. Great crust, great tasting ingredients, cheesy, and just straight pleaszy yum tasting pizza. The only thing I didn't care for was the garlic bread. I love me some garlic knots. Unfortunately these garlic sticks weren't on my top 10 list. When in Lodi for that Wine weekend be sure to check out Franco's Pizza. Reviews are slightly different during covid-19 days, not really a full spectrum of atmosphere or service, but just based on the food I give it 3.5 stars. I think my pizza was just slightly overcooked. We ordered two small pizzas 10 inches each which could still feed two people, if you don't like to overeat like me and hubby do. Also threw in some breadsticks just to be sure we had enough. They got my order correct with light red sauce. The main ingredients; the cheese the salami the olives the mushrooms - all very yummy. What I didn't love was the crust, and since I'm a carbie this feels like it brought the taste down from what it could be for me. Mine was slightly more done than hubby's and he loved his pizza. The breadsticks were unfortunately nothing special but that's probably because they are made with same crust as the pizza. They were topped with cheese though which always makes things better. They included Parmesan cheese on the side without asking so that was cool. I didn't personally go inside so as to follow some sort of social distancing even though we are in a weird phase of not really knowing what the rules are. If I was in the area again, I wouldn't rule it out. The toppings were some of the freshest I feel like I've had, but I also need to enjoy the crust because that's what makes it pizza! read more

came here on a tuesday afternoon because we were bound and determined to find good pizza in lodi and we had never been here before. first of all, the old school vibe is awesome. love the arcade games with mexican music over the speaker and bonanza droning on the tv. ordered a black olive, onion, and bell pepper pizza, which arrived shortly. the crust is perfect and the ingredients are plentiful and very fresh. very cheesy. the placed is wonderfully outdated and impressively clean. service was friendly and helpful. i think this is our "go to" place from now on. highly recommend. read more
