It's been a long time since I have been to Tony's. Shame on me! The beer selection is amazing. They have Maui Waui on tap! Oh and the pizza was awesome, with the toppings very fresh and tasty! Salad bar out of this world with fresh toppings as well. Next time, I will try one of their sandwiches they reminded me of old school grinders that you get in the big cities. Nostalgia effect/ambiance is definitely there and that really down to Earth service from the staff who enjoy taking care of their customers. I ordered a combination pizza with pineapple and ranch from Tony's Pizza in Lodi at 3:22 p.m. I picked it up about 15 minutes later, and the restaurant was completely empty. When I got home (less than a mile away), the pizza was cold, the cheese wasn't even warm, and it was unedible. I called the restaurant right away, and they offered to remake it. However, when I brought the pizza back -- which was still completely full except for two small bites -- they refused to remake it, told me they don't give refunds, and said I was "in the wrong." One employee even told me to call the police. I've never experienced customer service like this. A business that's been around for decades should stand behind their food and treat customers respectfully. Sadly, this experience was extremely disappointing -- both the quality of the pizza and how the situation was handled. I guess they needed that $35 more than I did. read more

We ordered fries, cheese sticks and a small double pepperoni. Fries and cheese sticks were served hot. Both very yummy. The pizza dough always has a distinct taste/flavor only to Tony's. I remember Tommy's when it used to be in Stockton many many years ago. The pizza dough still taste the same. The sauce has a nice tang to it. Today the crust was a bit over cooked but still good. Service was quick and you pay at the counter before you sit down. The place is just like it was in Stockton, exactly the same. Very dark inside with wood tables. All it's missing is the soft serve! Tony's has been a staple in town for years, serving great food consistently to the community, I always admire business that support little league teams, sponsoring jerseys, donating food, and being the after game victory place for teams. I typically frequent Tony's more at lunch time these days, where you can get some amazing sandwiches if you're not trying to tackle a pizza on your own at lunch. They usually have a sandwich special, last time it was a chicken Parmesan sandwich that was amazing, but the sub sandwiches here are stacked, with meat. I don't know why this place is rated so low because it's absolutely 5 stars!! I drive 30 min just to get pizza from here. I created my own veggie pizza with white sauce and it's incredible. The pizza crust is nice and crispy, with the right amount of toppings, and very tasty white sauce and cheese. The zucchini sticks and fries are a good appetizer. The salad bar has many toppings as options. The restaurant is big enough to have a party and there's many TV's if you go to watch games. Depending on how busy they are depends how quick the service is, but it's definitely worth the wait. The appetizers usually come out quick so it's not that bad. If you're in Lodi and want pizza, this is the place to go. Also, one of the managers Vincent is very friendly and makes it great going there! read more

Visiting a friend in a different town for lunch. He was craving pizza and suggested we try this place. The customer service was friendly, you place your order then go up to pick it up when called; there's no server. The pizza was hot, had good flavor and was a huge pie! If I had to compare the quality it's standard pizza but it did the job. The interior reminds me of one I used to go in my hometown that supported little league kids sports. There were arcade machines in the corner for the kids and a few people were celebrating their kids birthday party while there. Definitely has that family vibe to it. For a Wednesday night, seems like a lot of people like this place. I had a slice, very breast but sadly no flavor. However, it probably didn't help because the pizza was cold. I've eaten many pizzas and it still has a good taste cold, this one was not so tasty. read more

I really wanted to like Tony's Pizzeria more, but unfortunately, I can't give it more than 3 out of 5 stars due to how the place is run. While some of the staff are friendly, others carry a condescending attitude that makes the experience less enjoyable. One of my biggest issues is how they seem to nickel and dime customers at every turn. They charge 99 cents for every card transaction, even for something as small as a condiment. On top of that, I didn't notice any specials or meal deals, which makes dining here feel even less welcoming. Another odd policy--you have to bring your own pizza to the counter to get it boxed. For a place that doesn't exactly serve high-end pizza, that just seems unnecessary. That said, the ambience is decent, and they do have a couple of TVs playing sports, which is a nice touch. But given all the downsides, I can understand why this spot has a lower rating. It's a shame because the pizza itself is decent to good, I also enjoy the wings and appetizers, but the overall experience just doesn't make it worth seeking out more than just occasionally. read more

I've been eating at Tony's since the 90's! Fun place to take the kids and they can play arcade games. I love the dark atmosphere and the wood tables and benches. So many memories from my childhood. All I can say is from the 1st time a year ago to today the quality has went as down as the prices have went up. Made the wrong pizza, 50 bucks for a fairly small 1 topping pizza with delivery 1.2 miles. Never again, we fed it to our chickens as it was one of the worst pizzas I've had in years, and I love pizza. Now move on to Francos pizza twice the size, better service, better prices, and pizza is a solid 9 out of 10 where I'd give Tony's a 3 out of 10 at best. My review fpr Francos will tell you the same. It has been a while since I was here so I decided it get a couple pies for dinner to go on Saturday Night. You'll have to wait as they like to say, quality takes time. The Sausage pizza was very good. Made with ground sausage as opposed to sausage balls. I enjoyed the combo pizza; however next time, I'll get it without tomatoes and pepperchinnis. Food is just too greasy now and after eating, mouth always has that feel of grease iyk. The prices are also ridiculous, they charge you for every box when you oder Pick-up.
