I actually drove from Roseville to try this place out b/c I LOVE Italian & this place had such glowing reviews (the made-from-scratch pasta being a big draw also). Arrived on a Wednesday evening at just before 6pm & only waited about 10 mins for a spot to open up inside (they do have outdoor seating as well). Waitress quickly stopped by, dropped off some focaccia bread & asked what I'd like to drink. After that...I waited. Make sure you have plenty of time to kill by the way, b/c the service here is on the slower side. My wine finally arrived about 15 mins later & I was asked what I'd like to eat. Inquired about the pear + cheese ravioli & was told that it was on the "sweeter" side, but also that it was popular & I would actually be getting the last order of it for the night. Decided to go for it. Funny enough, the food came out way faster than my glass of wine did. Here is where the real problem began though. The ravioli was undercooked & difficult to chew. Not al dente. The filling itself was definitely on the sweeter side, but outside of that, it was bland. The brown butter sage sauce didn't add much to it at all & I ended up having to rely heavily on the salt/pepper that were already placed on the table. Overall, this wasn't something worth driving 45 mins for, but now I know for sure. At least the bread was good...lol.

I ordered the same pizza I always do, and they not only messed up multiple times, but each time I had to wait forever. I ended up canceling and asking for a refund. Other customers were doing the same and having the same issue I did. As soon as I got to my car, I bit into a slice and knew something was wrong. I then came back in and gave them the pizza. The manager could not understand that I asked for light sauce, and they used too much. I also asked for garlic parmesan sauce, and they gave me Alfredo. The manager swore up and down that he used garlic, but would not comment on using too much sauce. Keep in mind that while we are talking, he has 2 other employees behind him, talking to him in a language I can't understand. Extremely unprofessional. If this location is under new management because the previous management was going "downhill," then they must be trying to set a new standard for "downhill." Except for chain and fast food places off of Highway 99 there aren't a lot of worthwhile options for lunch. It's worth the short several blocks drive down A Street to get there. The place is large, full of character and clean. The restroom was updated and spotless. There's a nice outdoor patio with plenty of seating in a courtyard atmosphere. We chose a booth, indoors, and menus were brought right away, along with water. There are plenty of selections for lunch, including the usual burgers and sandwiches with some specialty items, for example Cajun Pasta. We shared a Bavarian pretzel for an appetizer with mustard dip. It was good but a bit on the greasy side. The mustard went well with it. For my lunch I ordered the Blackened Chicken Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries ($2 extra). The portions are huge! Definitely a good value for the quality of the sandwich, which had big chunks of chicken, bacon, avacado, lettuce, tomato, cheese and a tangy aioli sauce. Quite delicious. Everything was fresh and tasty. I was very pleased, and full. Washing it down with an iced tea was perfect. Service was very personable and professional. This started off with a very bad expeience. I ordered 3 pizzas for my office party and expected then to have plates, ranch, crushed pepper, etc. My order came with only 4 plates for 3 pizzas? What is that all about. Luckily my.office is close by so I stopped by in the morning at around 11 am and the little asian gentlemen inside was very nice. He insisted on giving me coupon for the next order and repeatedly apologized for the mistake of not having all the condiments. Think of it as an Indian-inspired fast-casual restaurant with a creative twist. I didn't have time to stay for a full meal, but after tasting their samosas, I already know I'll be back. What I Ordered: Samosas (2 pieces) These were surprisingly flavorful. The crispy pastry was lightly dusted with aromatic Indian spices, giving every bite an extra layer of flavor. Inside was a hearty filling of chunky potatoes seasoned with warm curry spices that tasted fresh, comforting, and perfectly balanced. They were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and disappeared way too fast. I arrived approximately 30 minutes later, but there was no one at the counter, so I had to ring the bell and wait. When someone eventually came out, I had to wait an additional 15 minutes. I was initially handed someone else's pizza by mistake before receiving the correct cheese pizza. What concerned me most were the hygiene practices I observed during my visit. The employee appeared to come out of the restroom wearing headphones, and I could not tell whether proper handwashing procedures had been followed as she flushed and ran out immediately. I also observed a man walking around the back area without shoes. Because I was concerned about the food-handling environment, I ultimately decided not to let my daughter eat the pizza.
