Normally I love Pizza Guys as it is nostalgic for me and I have memories of my dad buying it on Fridays for our family. I am such a fan that I try local Pizza Guys wherever I go and will even endure the long wait times because the wait is worth it. Unfortunately, this spot was not worth the wait (an hour and a half to be exact). There were plenty of good things to say about the staff and the hustle you can see behind the counter. However, my main complaint is that the Pizza Guys franchise normally has a unique crust to it and their crust tastes like a cheap box of pizza crust. The cheese was oddly over salty and the red sauce tasted so bad. Was it edible? Yes. But not the same. In their defense, it was a Friday night and there was clearly a rush to get the pizzas out to the angry customers waiting. I will cautiously try once more on a less busy day, but being a Sac native the food in this town overall does not meet my standards. So far it doesn't meet the standards of what I know as my endearing (and odd) nostalgic love for Pizza Guys. read more

I recently was out running errands and decided to go to pizza guys. When I came in I was greeted by staff and the staff was very friendly. I ordered the grilled chicken flatbread. Which consists of grilled chicken, spinach, red onion and Gorgonzola cheese on a flatbread. The pizza was delicious and very filling. Ambiance is customer friendly. read more

The pizza is decent for the price, but the service is so incredibly bad. I placed my order online and they emailed me that it was ready so I go the store. They say 5 minutes. Turns into 20. Turns into 40. After asking three times they find my cold pizza on top of the oven. I am sooooo disappointed in the service. read more

Definitely one of the best pizza places in Galt. We are limited on selections so it's great to have your go to. The Pizza is always hot and fresh. It's pretty simple to order and see the menu online. The salad is good, but I have yet to understand why they don't chop it up a little more. It's basically like a whole head of lettuce and can be a little challenging to eat especially for a child. If it's to help save time or improve productivity I get it I guess. (?) Overall the service and food is great! The delivery drivers are always polite and are wearing this masks! I have to say that this locations pizza was not NEARLY as good as the Rocklin location. Crust was decent, as were the toppings, but something was missing. Just not sure what. Yes it was NYE and YES there was a major storm, so maybe that had something to do with it, I can't discount that possibility. This is my first time trying out Pizza Guys; there is a location in the Portland area, but I stopped at the Galt location while staying the night on a road trip. The gentleman at my hotel recommended it over Domino's, so why not try something new? My dad and I ordered a large Serrano pepper pizza; it was a nice combination of spicy and sweet, topped with pineapple to cut the spiciness of the sauce and peppers. The pizza was definitely a bit on the greasy side; the crust was nothing to write home about (it was flat and chewy, nothing significant about it) and it was a bit under cooked. The topping quality was decent, however, and I appreciate the creativity in their specialty pizzas. Like I said, the combination of spicy and sweet was greatly appreciated. Would I go to Pizza Guys again? I wouldn't go out of my way for one, but it does beat Pizza Hut and Domino's. read more

Pizza Guys! What can I say... I like this place. This is my go to spot when I am ordering pizza just for myself (my family prefers Round Table). Pizza is good. I've had better and I've definitely had worse. For the price point you just can't go wrong though, that's the biggest positive. The salads are always fresh. Although they do forget to send dressing with it often enough. This is such a problem that I've stopped ordering with delivery. The good thing is if you order over $20 worth of food you get a free 2 liter drink or ice cream. I like that a lot. When they deliver they are usually on time and pizza is warm. Overall it's a good pizza spot and you can't beat their pricing. I'll continue to order here. read more

When Pizza guys first opened, a long while ago, we tried it, we were not impressed. I don't remember why we didn't like it?! A coupon came so I said let's try them again. I was craving a green salad. Ordered one after asking specifically if it would feed two. I was assured it would be made for two. It was NOT! There was barely enough toppings for one! My favorite pizza spot in Galt. Everytime i come here they always get my order (super complicated) on point. Everyone is extremely friendly including Ray the manager. He always remembers my name. I went to Dominos a few times and it comes out doughy and when i told the manager he told me to thats how their dough is because its frozen. We get pizza from here often, the order is right 95% of the time. The prices can't be beat, the delivery people are always courteous and the pizza is always hot when it gets here. The pizzas are always very good, they never skimp on toppings. It's one of our favorite pizza places in town especially if we are feeding a large crowd. read more

Used to be our town favorite, that's defiantly not the case any longer. We have had bad experiences more then once! I'm a firm believer that every business has bad nights ect but we as a family are just done with them. The worst case was we ordered our pizza and was told 45 minutes for pickup as they where busy. That's totally fine we ordered early. Upon arrival the wait was extensive... like another 40 minutes. When we asked what was going we then learned they where so far behind we had another 20-30 minutes wait. Nothing was ever told to us until we asked which bothered me to begin with and I had to ask for my money since I paid over the phone with my card, again they didn't offer any way to rectify it. I have also called them at 10:30 (which they close at 11) and was told couldn't order. I asked them if they are open till 11? She replied. .. yes! Well no point in being open if your not taking orders. We will defiantly be taking our business elsewhere from this point on. read more

Gave a tip that was over the 20% gratuity and upon delivery had one whole pizza smashed, box looked as though someone punched it, all the toppings were stuck to the top of the box.
