We were lucky raffle winners and received a gift certificate to the Walnut Grove Pizza Factory. We stopped in for lunch today and had a delicious meal and most enjoyable time. We were warmly greeted and placed our lunch order before sitting down. We chose a table by the window and watched the delta world go by. Our food arrived in a timely manner and we were able to enjoy our salad before the pizzas came out. We had never been here before and the food and service were absolutely fantastic! I got a takeout pizza from here while I was in the area. I ordered an Awesome Combo online, and showed up 15 min before my pickup time (which was quoted at 30 min). When I checked in at the register, they said my pizza was already prepped and they'd put it in the oven right away, so it would only be 5 minutes or so. I greatly appreciate getting a fresh pizza so kudos (plus I showed up way early). The pizza itself was pretty good. The crust had a nice crispy layer at the bottom. It wasn't greasy. The toppings were nice and fresh. The only thing that I didn't particularly care for was the sauce. I'm used to my pizza sauce being a little more seasoned and having that zest to it, but this sauce kinda tasted like a plain marinara. Not offensive, but lacking in the flavor department. I had surgery, so my ability to cook has been impacted greatly! I was craving pizza, so I Yelped the closest pizza place, and Pizza Factory. I loved their pizza, it was delicious!!! I called in a order to go, I ordered Twisted Breadstix and Awesome Combo Pizza. On the way home, I could not resist but eat the BreadStix's. They were delicious! They were buttery with parmesan cheese!!!!! They satisfied my hunger, and I could not stop eating them!!! I listened to music and nibbled on breadsticks!!!! When I arrived home and opened the box, what a beautiful pizza!!! We dug into the pizza, it was delicious!!! Lots of meat, cheese, and veggies!! The pizza was delicious!!! I've drive by this spot a few times and was curious, so I stopped by for dinner yesterday. Their pricing, especially for their family meal deals on their chalk board, is really fair! Better than al la cart pricing for sure. I paid $46 for an XL supreme pizza (I forgot what they called it, wasn't supreme though), 2 appetizers (could choose between 6 piece wings, bread sticks, or a family salad), and 3 drinks - which I was able to exchange for a family, 2L sized bottle. Again, I thought $46 for all of that food was a really good price on paper. The pizza was fine. I could tell the ingredients were fresh and great quality. I wasn't very impressed by the sauce or the dough though! Just personal preference. They gave us 2 free sides of ranch, which I was excited to try, but disappointed when I did. It was very watered down. We were also not very impressed by their wings. I opted to get 6 piece bone in buffalo and 6 piece boneless bbq. The boneless wings were laughably small, teenie tiny chicken pieces. I totally recommend going with their bone in option instead, especially if it's the same price. Their wings lacked flavor and sauce, totally needed more sauce than what was coated on them. I felt like the boned in wings were also over cooked, so they were very dry. None the less, I was happy to support local and likely would stop here again if I were in the area. I wouldn't go out of my way for this spot though. Service was ok, guy taking my order seemed new at his job but everyone was hustling and responsive. Busy spot but moved in a good speed. Amazing pizza! Great service! Ive been wanting to try this sport for quite a few years. I pass through Walnut Grove to head towards the Bay area time after time. And finally had the chance to come. Got here 15 minutes before they opened. Gurdjit allowed us to come in slightly early, it was raining perfect weather for some pizza. We were traveling through Walnut Grove at lunch time. Needed a place and saw a pizza place. Well,OK. Inside they had a bunch of TVs tuned loudly to sports talk (not a game - no one was watching). Kind of a turnoff. But there was no other place. The menu looked good so we ordered and opted to eat outside even though it was a little cold to escape the noise. But oh were we surprised! This is one of the best pizzas outside of San Francisco that we've had in a long time. Perfect hand tossed chewy crusts. We had the pesto special, which was delightful.l, It was so good it reset the bar for pizzas here in Berkeley. Really worth it, even if it was a little cold outside. Really, really good pizza. Service was good and we didn't wait too long. My only complaint would be to turn off the sound on the TVs (or turn them off, what a concept) if there isn't something important on. I was hosting a little get together at my place and I asked my friend to bring some pizza and this is what he got. It was from his hometown of Walnut Grove. The pizzas were amazing and delicious. Walnut Grove is a small town, I was surprised how busy this pizza parlor was midweek. They had quite a few special pizzas and ones you can build yourself. The menu has the calories listed for everything on the menu, although I never had heard of this pizza company I figured it was a chain. I ask the young woman behind the counter she told me that they were a franchise. Pizza Factory specializes in opening in smaller towns. Walnut Grove has a population of just over 1300 people, and I think a good percentage of the population stopped in to pick up a pizza. I ordered a mini meat pizza and K had a veggie calzone. He said it was good. I enjoyed my pizza; the crust was light, the toppings were generous and the sauce tasty. I would stop in again when I am in the area: the food was good, the service friendly, and I enjoyed sitting on the patio and watching the cars cross over the bridge from one side of the river to the other. read more

Due to Covid they are providing takeout only, however there is a small park area with a few benches nearby if you don't feel like waiting until you get home. We ordered a small Humprey Special, which is their version of a supreme pizza, sans ham and green peppers. We also ordered the cheese bread. The pizza was excellent. The toppings, sauce, and cheese tasted great, but the most amazing part of the pie was the dough. It was incredibly airy, light, and almost buttery. The dough could easily be eaten by itself. The cheese bread was incredibly cheesy, but was a tad overcooked, so the dough was more crisp than the pizza was. Either way, it was delicious as well, and they give you plenty of dipping ranch to go with it. This is your run of the mill pizza place. Aside from the dough being phenomenal, everything else is what you would expect from a pizza parlor, and that's not bad. Sometimes simplicity is better. read more

There aren't a lot of options for eating on the Delta in these small towns. Pizza and wings sounded good so we decided to give this place a try. We got a combo pizza and it was a typical pizza parlor pizza, nothing spectacular, nothing terrible. The toppings seamed fresh, though it didn't meld together as pizza would. The wings were a little under fried, meaning the skin could have used a little more time to crisp. Sauces were just fine. Service was ok, they didn't go out of their way to tend to us and there was just one staff, so it was hard for them to cover as it got busier. We had to bring our own dishes in from outside. Also, the flies are relentless outside. Not sure there is much that can be done about it since we're out on the Delta, but it was very distracting to try and eat when being attacked by so many flies while dining outside. We ended up putting our discarded chicken bones on a plate at another table just to give the flies something else to work on and leave us alone to eat. Hope they do something about that so people can have a more enjoyable experience dining outside when the weather is nice. read more

Service is super good and friendly. Food is perfect. We got the $24.95 large pizza with breadsticks and three soda deal. I added a beer and extra cheese and it was just around $32. Great deal! We ordered a pepperoni & olive pizza and it was amazing. The pizza crust is soft yet crispy and there was a perfect amount of toppings.
