What a lovely restaurant in an historic building at the edge of the small commercial downtown of…read moreGalt. Except for chain and fast food places off of Highway 99 there aren't a lot of worthwhile options for lunch. It's worth the short several blocks drive down A Street to get there. The place is large, full of character and clean. The restroom was updated and spotless. There's a nice outdoor patio with plenty of seating in a courtyard atmosphere. We chose a booth, indoors, and menus were brought right away, along with water. There are plenty of selections for lunch, including the usual burgers and sandwiches with some specialty items, for example Cajun Pasta. We shared a Bavarian pretzel for an appetizer with mustard dip. It was good but a bit on the greasy side. The mustard went well with it. For my lunch I ordered the Blackened Chicken Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries ($2 extra). The portions are huge! Definitely a good value for the quality of the sandwich, which had big chunks of chicken, bacon, avacado, lettuce, tomato, cheese and a tangy aioli sauce. Quite delicious. Everything was fresh and tasty. I was very pleased, and full. Washing it down with an iced tea was perfect. Service was very personable and professional. We were well taken care of with iced tea refills and offers of extra ketchup, etc. When in the area or on a road trip throuth these parts I'd definitely be back.

Was promptly seated and then ignored for 39 minutes, and the establishment was not busy. Waiter came to take our order, delivered beverages, then proceeded to interact with the ladies across the way the remainder of our visit. No service utensils, no refills. After an additional 40 minutes, I went to the bar myself to get refills. Food finally came and it was delicious. However, it was apparent our table was not "assigned" to anyone. Every employee walked right by us, not even making eye contact. Beautiful, historical building. I only hope the service improves.

Score! What a find! So happy to have found this gem of a restaurant right off the good ole 99…read morehighway. No fancy frills. No false intentions. Just simply some super delicious Korean yum yums! It's a small little restaurant, humble for sure, with a nice well stocked bar. I have not yet checked out the course so no yelping about that. Most Golf course type restaurants are rarely busy, so walking in to see it slow was no surprise or concern. Asked for a suggestion, was suggested the spicy pork...done. I love spicy pork! Daijee bulgogi, if you will. Everything came out on one plate we had the meat, some rice and a super delicious FRESH green salad. Lovely lady who brought it out noticed I was Korean and smiled and asked if I wanted some Kim chi, duh right? She brought out some really good Kim chi along with Dam muji (daikon). Really loved this place. In fact, I'm taking my whole family back here day after tomorrow. My wife looooooooves Don katsu, and they have it on the menu so...you know. Happy wife, happy life! :) See you soon!!

To top it off the man at the counter was extremely, rude, judgmental and un-inviting. We stopped by to feel the vibes and have some lunch, but quite frankly i wouldn't recommend this place. Specially the customer service was awful. He was rude when asking simple questions. Place looks dirty and smells weird, I would not eat the food there.
