Found a good breakfast spot for the kids and I. They have a kids menu. Come here instead of Dennys.

What a lovely restaurant in an historic building at the edge of the small commercial downtown of…read moreGalt. Except for chain and fast food places off of Highway 99 there aren't a lot of worthwhile options for lunch. It's worth the short several blocks drive down A Street to get there. The place is large, full of character and clean. The restroom was updated and spotless. There's a nice outdoor patio with plenty of seating in a courtyard atmosphere. We chose a booth, indoors, and menus were brought right away, along with water. There are plenty of selections for lunch, including the usual burgers and sandwiches with some specialty items, for example Cajun Pasta. We shared a Bavarian pretzel for an appetizer with mustard dip. It was good but a bit on the greasy side. The mustard went well with it. For my lunch I ordered the Blackened Chicken Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries ($2 extra). The portions are huge! Definitely a good value for the quality of the sandwich, which had big chunks of chicken, bacon, avacado, lettuce, tomato, cheese and a tangy aioli sauce. Quite delicious. Everything was fresh and tasty. I was very pleased, and full. Washing it down with an iced tea was perfect. Service was very personable and professional. We were well taken care of with iced tea refills and offers of extra ketchup, etc. When in the area or on a road trip throuth these parts I'd definitely be back.

Was promptly seated and then ignored for 39 minutes, and the establishment was not busy. Waiter came to take our order, delivered beverages, then proceeded to interact with the ladies across the way the remainder of our visit. No service utensils, no refills. After an additional 40 minutes, I went to the bar myself to get refills. Food finally came and it was delicious. However, it was apparent our table was not "assigned" to anyone. Every employee walked right by us, not even making eye contact. Beautiful, historical building. I only hope the service improves.

Like drinks as soon as the order is placed, let alone before the appetizers. Granted it was a Monday night and maybe they weren't expecting a crowd of 15 to show up. Took 20 minutes to get some waters. I ordered a Dr Pepper 3 different times(first time the waiter wrote it down), by the fourth time they asked again, I didn't want it anymore. It's cool though. Kind of lost my appetite after the wait, but I'll deal. Some decent courtesy would be nice, but it seemed more reserved for others than my table. We just get ignored and checked when confirming asked questions. No one asked if the table was ok, but that's me having higher expectations. All good tho, just happy to see my family atp.. Ok, the food was good. I had a maple bourbon burger with fries. Overall, the service could've been better, but the food made up for it....

When I entered the restaurant the staff were very polite and helpful. I showed them my wife order and they brought it out. The bacon, sausage were cooked to perfection and very delicious. The eggs with the cheese cooked to perfection and tasty. The pancakes were the start of the meal. The pancakes were surprisingly tasty and fluffy. The ambiance inside the restaurant was customer friendly.
