Small location but BIG TASTE! We are so happy we came across this place. Inside is small 4-5 tables but we were greeted and helped immediately. The menu has plenty to offer. We have family from this region in Mexico and this food was SPOT ON and even better! Absolutely flavorful and the right amount of spice! We will definitely make the trip out to Galt just to eat here!!

Stopped by after hearing great things from family members. We were very happy with the food we ordered (molecajete and campechana). The food was excellent and the service was great. Prices were very reasonable and we will be returning customers.

This review is way past due because for the last couple of years, we've been going to this place to have our different fresh Mexican seafood dishes with of course, our sexy michelada fix. Til now, we still get excited when we get here cause this place is amazing! Regular staff Daniel, with his handsome smile, always greets us with enthusiasm and treats us like a family. Everything about this place is no-nonsense, just great, enjoyable fresh food, and great vibe. We'll keep coming back here for sure. Try it!! read more

I have been coming to this Mexican seafood spot for some time now and feel bad I have yet to review it. Well here it is after many years of being around be prepared to be blown away by the quality of the food. The ceviche is fresh and flavorful, and the shrimp tacos are perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere is always lively and the service friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the mood for some delicious Mexican seafood dishes. Side note on weekend they do menudo for those who like it. I've tried it and from town this is probably my favorite spot for this as well. Forgot to mention the prices are very reasonable compared to the locale down the street. Understand though the overhead amongst other things can be contributing factors for the difference. However this is still my go to for some caldo de Camaron, ceviche tostadas shrimp tacos or a mojarra frita. read more

In the last 2 weeks, after finding this place, I've gone 4 times. I've tried the mixed cocktail, fish tacos, shrimp tacos, carne and shrimp burrito and michelada. Every single thing I ordered was beyond fresh and delicious. The homemade tortillas are so freakin yum. Nothing is overpriced which makes it so worth going back over and over. The people there are all so friendly and professional. The inside can seat about a dozen people and there's also outdoor seating. This is definitely my fave spot to go. read more

I've been meaning to write a review about this little hole in the wall since my last road trip and am finally getting around to it ... If I could order something right now and have it delivered by drone I'd do it. We tried the ceviche, the oysters stuffed with ceviche, homemade tortillas (drooling now) and some shrimp enchiladas with their house green sauce. Holy freaking guacamole (also delicious), I wish I lived near this joint as the not only is the food bomb but the staff are all super down to earth and friendly. I stopped here and got ceviche and 2 shrimp tacos. I have not had ceviche that good in so long. I couldn't wait as soon as I got to my car I was eating it and as I looked up I saw a few people watching. It was that good! The service was fast and friendly. It was a humble setting and festive with hot sauces from around Mexico and fisherman themed. This will be my go to now for Mariscos. I will be headed this way regularly and will look forward to stopping to eat. read more

I have to work in Galt about 3x per month. I found this little hole in the wall and figured I give it a try. Im Mexican so I know good Mexican food. And hey, I have to give credit where it is due. I ordered a fish taco and tostada de ceviche de pescado. The taco was so soft and tender. I would have preferred a more spicy salsa, but it was delicious. The ceviche was ready to eat. We just moved here from southern Ca and have been looking for a great Mexican spot here in Galt. We have been here a few times and I have to say service has not been great...but tonight we had our best experience with Luis. He was great, friendly and Had great service. I highly recommend Taco Tuesday and the Mariachi Tacos.... and chicken fajitas unbelievably good. We will definitely be back and hope to have Luis again. read more

Okay so for starts this place is filthy! Boy does this place suck! We ordered a few times hoping it was just a fluke one occasion she forgot something we called to pick it up the woman got pissed saying we were liars. Regardless we continued to try it a few more times my coworker went to add hot sauce to her burrito she yelled ICK there was a HAIR IN HER BURRITO!!! A long black hair!!!! Now today we tried it on more time and got the shrimp ceviche and found another hair on her lime!! She called and the girl accused me of planting the hair!! Gave her money back and told us to never fucking come back!! I will never return and hope some won't go again read more

this place was AWFUL. We can start by saying the lady at the counter was a complete bitch. With an empty restaurant during what should be a busy lunch time, you would think she would be friendly and willing to answer all the customers questions with respect and kindness.....nope. i was received with a snappy short woman, who wasnt any help at all. the food wasn't that great. the refried beans were as runny as gravy, bland white rice, and shrimp enchiladas tasted like paper. if you want good Mexican food (who also has seafood) go across the street to el rodeo. you'll save money and be greeted with smiles, and feel welcome. read more

When I approached the seafood counter, it took a bit of time to be assisted. I originally desired to get two dozen of the BBQ Oysters, priced at $12 for each 12-count bag. Unfortunately, the associate indicated that they were sold out. I got the 12-count of the Kumamoto Oysters instead. When trying them at home, the oysters were beyond fresh and of amazing quality. The downfall was that they were super tiny. Even though the oyster shell with the meat was small, I'd still get them again. The entire store was clean and presentable. I appreciated the oyster deals, because purchasing oysters at restaurants is significantly higher. This Save Mart gets the job done and I'd return to this location whenever I am in the Galt area.

I would recommend to buy the lamb when it's in season, that's when the FFA kids sell them. So fresh! You can sometimes also find items like lobster, which is harder to find. Their sandwiches from the deli are also good. Some of the people have worked there since I was a child. It's really nice to have that hometown feel. They have a large wine and fancy alcohol selection. A solid beer and craft beer selection too. And the star of this show? THE SUSHI! It's usually the same two people working and they will even do requests. They know me and smile at me every time. I do the sushi often for a quick to go lunch, to drink I'll often grab a coconut water from the health fridge selection and when I'm feeling wild I grab a bottle of sake! They have a nice bakery, with beautiful cakes and pastries. A beautiful selection of meats and cheeses. Also if I don't feel like cooking they have plenty of warm up at home meals for a fair price- like enchiladas, pizzas, pastas, ect. They really have it all! Lines are never too long. Plenty of parking. The UPS is inside making Raleys a one stop shop for lots of errands! On Friday night, August 7th, my daughter had several friends over for a birthday sleepover. At 9 o'clock at night, they decided they had to have tacos. So, I quickly ordered a huge amount of different items from this restaurant through DoorDash. The food was delivered at 9:45. As soon as I opened the front door, I knew something was wrong because there was one little bag on the doorstep. Before I even opened it, I attempted to wave down the Dasher who was backing out of our driveway. He did not stop. So, I called him on the phone to tell him the order he delivered was a kids quesadilla and two tacos for someone named "Amanda." Not us. He actually laughed on the phone and very sarcastically said, "gee, that's weird. I wonder how that happened." he told me I would have to call DoorDash and he hung up! DoorDash has an option to chat. And so I got on chat and asked them to quickly re-order as the restaurant closes at 10 o'clock, and re-deliver. They said that was not an option and they offered me half of my money back. Half! I later got every penny of it back, there was no way I was tipping that driver, but I digress... I quickly called the restaurant and told them of the issue. By now it was just about 10 o'clock. The woman on the phone looked up my order and I drove to the restaurant, getting there maybe around 10:05. The dining area was spotless, the kitchen was completely clean, and there was one person, mopping the floors. These four employees, however, opened the kitchen and re-made my order for me, even though they did not have to. Now, there were certain things they could not make like the nachos or the Beria tacos because they had already closed down the fryer, but I completely understood that and they substituted with more regular tacos. These four employees went above and beyond what most other places would have done because this was not their issue, it was a mistake by DoorDash. I was out of there by about 10:15. We will definitely return to this location. It's obvious they care about their customers and their food is also very good.

I didn't want to head to Elk Grove so this place caught my eye while sifting through dining options. There are not many options in Galt anyway, but T2yan piqued my interest as I haven't had Chinese-American food in a hot minute. With the mixed reviews, I set my expectations and bar low. It was a rainy day so I was able to find a parking spot right in front of the restaurant. It is located in the same strip mall as Raley's and conveniently located by the 99 and Twin Cities Rd. Upon entering T2yan, I noticed that it was very clean, cozy, yet spacious, with plenty of seating. Aside from a few other people dining in, I was the only other customer. I was seated quickly and handed the lunch special menu. I found it amusing that they even served cocktails. As you can see in my attached photo, the layout of the menu was quite modernized compared to other Chinese-American menus I'm used to, but I liked how each of the lunch special items had photos next to them. I also noticed that the lunch specials came with either fried rice or chow mein, so when I ordered my Mongolian beef lunch special, I asked if I could do half and half. It was a $3 upgrade to do so, which I was fine with paying. I also didn't have a choice of soup for my lunch special, so when it arrived, I was intrigued. It was very homey and not a soup I've ever had in any lunch special. It was a tomato-based soup with some crumbles of pork (?) in it, but it was comforting and I finished my bowl. However, I wish I could have had hot and sour soup instead. Shortly after, my lunch special arrived, and it was a heaping plate of deliciousness. The noodles were excellent, and the Mongolian beef was sooo flavorful. I did not like the fried rice as much, and I had to add soy sauce to it as it wasn't very seasoned (which I don't normally do). The rice was also older (which is fine for fried rice), but it was a little harder than usual. The egg roll was fine, but nothing to write home about. Now knowing about the condition of the fried rice, I will probably not upgrade to half and half again. I did not finish my food and what I took home was a perfect amount for leftovers the next day. The service was standard, and my total before tip was approximately $18, which was a little pricey for Chinese-American food, especially a lunch special, but given the limited options that Galt has, I am not mad about it. While I do not see myself returning to Galt in the foreseeable future, as there's not much to do there, if I am ever in the area again, I would be down to try some other lunch specials (and their hot and sour soup).

Hands down one of my favorite places to eat so far. Food was fresh and delicious! Tacos are great and made with homemade tortillas. It's a small venue but clean and kept up well. The server was very helpful and accommodating. She allowed us to sample anything we hadn't tried before. We were a little hesitant to try the ceviche because we had never had it before. I used to love stopping in at Galt Frosty when I was a kid , but it looks like the sleepy little town of galt Has a delightful new change . It's a little small but don't let it fool you the service is great , the portions are generous , and the food is awesome . Prices are very afforable compared to other sea food restaurants. I really enjoyed eating a dish called "Culichis" which is cooked shrimp tossed in a green sauce with melted cheese and fresh HOME MADE tortillas.
