If you're looking for a place to have your next event, they have a decent-sized banquet space that I hosted for a reception after a memorial service some time back Love the owner and staff. Everyone is so nice and accommodating. As far as the food. I have my go-to options when me and hubby dine in or pick up to go. Can't believe my number one most fave dish wasn't captured in any of my previous photos. The carne con chile is oh so yummy. It's a little spicy, but so flavorful. I love it with a side of sour cream, all rice no beans (just a preference because I love their rice) and their humongous freshly made tortilla.. Hubby always loves to order the cheese enchilada and beef taco. I've tried their pozole verde with chicken too and it's is so so good And the chips and salsa (we love both the regular and flour chips. They're addicting, we try not to fill up Before our meal arrives. Finally, I use their location for catering many business lunches. They have the best chicken fajitas, I always get "where did you get this from, it's so good" when I bring it with a tray of the chile Colorado/ Chile Verde with their fresh tortillas. I really wanted a dozen pork tamales in a hurry and remembered I had them here years ago. I decided to call to place an order to go for them late afternoon. The place is big inside but not many people were dining. I was greeted by a really nice hostess at the front. She noticed that they had my bag ready with the sides (rice and beans) but not the tamales. She quickly ran to the kitchen and then told me it would take a few more minutes. Because of this short wait, she insisted I get piping hot beans and rice instead of the ones in the bag that were lukewarm. I appreciated that. Once I got home, I plated everything and it was really good. There was just enough pork inside each tamale and the rice and refried beans were flavorful. The one star is for the service when I arrived to pick up the food. The staff were very nice and friendly. I hadn't been here in years but ordered to support a school fundraiser. I remembered how good it used to be so we were excited. I called and asked about the family meal and ordered two. They did not mention at all the price had gone up significantly so I was shocked when I got there and my total was $136. The dining room was vacant. The food was really not great. The beans were clearly not made from scratch. They tasted like they were from a can. The rice was not great either and yellow instead of your typical red Mexican rice. The pork tasted off in the burritos. Everyone who ate ended up extremely bloated and feeling sick. My child ended up throwing up the next morning at school. My grandparents didn't know our experience yet and bought dinner the next night to support the fundraiser and called me to tell me how awful the food was. This place has given back to the community so much but something has changed and I don't think I can eat here anymore. read more

My goodness, I experienced the best of the best meals today. I ordered the chili verde burrito supreme lunch special. It was just perfect. It's been along time since I've been able to say that about a meal I ordered. The meat had a great flavor and was tender, like it had been slow cooked all day in a crockpot type of tender. The green sauce was flavorful and to my surprise it wasn't too spicy. I have such a sensitive mouth I always order a side of sour cream to have ready to eat by the spoonful if I accidentally eat something spicy. Today I actually was able to enjoy sour cream on my food the way it's meant to be. The way they prepare their rice and beans has always been a favorite for me. The Chile Relleno at this restaurant is to die for, you won't leave one little piece on your plate. The fresh peppers and onions mix so well with their home made sauce. The worst "Mexican" food I've ever tried. Asked about the gravy option for the enchilada and they said it's like red sauce. I got it and it was just normal gravy with a little bit of hot sauce and cumin. Rice somehow had overcooked bits and not cooked at all bits in it. It was flavorless along with the beans. So my family we typically order the family meal, but recently on Facebook everyone has been posting about these Birria Tacos so we just had to try them out and see what all this hype is. So very good. Definitely will order again. Now regarding their family meal. What a great deal and so much food! We order to go, there are 3 of us and a family meal will feed us for at least 2 meals ... if not 3. Today I ordered the usual Beef and Carnitas Enchilada Dinner. I always eat here, but today the food was Bad. The salsa was old and just had the taste of spoiled tomatoes. The Beef Enchilada was fair, but the Carnitas were old and tasted like they were in the fridge for a week and thought they were still good, but they were spoiled. Left a bad taste in My mouth. Salsa might be the blandest thing I've ever eaten. Chili relleno was stone cold. Replacement was warm but not hot. Mediocre all in all. Restaurant has no ambiance. Waitress was nice but unable to answer questions about the kind of whiskey they had. She mentioned it's all been changed but didn't tell us what the change was or offer to get the answers. My experience at this business/restaurant was horrible, the customer service is awful the food is not great at all. Racial slurs being used towards my family was the worst I have ever experienced coming from a business. There supposed to be family owned and operated but have displayed behavior of racism during our visit here. The daughter Angel calls customers NIGGERS and the mother does nothing about it when advised of the issues. She actually said I don't care when explained to her how offensive the word is. Got there about 4:30 pm. We went during COVID and decided to eat here since it was close to where we needed to be. Service was good & that's about it. The ground beef in my enchilada was very bland with no seasoning at all. Very chunky too. Salsa was blah. Too liquidy. My husband wasn't a fan of the tortillas. I like my salsa really hot, so I did ask if they had something hotter. The hot salsa tasted like a cross between bbq sauce & salsa. Overall, we won't go back. Had dinner here for Cinco de Mayo with a small group of friends. I don't usually eat meat, seafood or dairy and can always find a taco salad, vegetarian burrito or something at a Mexican restaurant to order with modifications. Not in this case, there were no vegetarian options other than chile relleno or cheese enchiladas and since I don't eat dairy those were ruled out. Chips and salsa were served, and the salsa was bland and not very good. I ended up ordering the Coctel De Camaron (shrimp cocktail) since I couldn't find a healthy alternative. The shrimp were good but the cocktail sauce (tomato juice, tomatoes, onion and avocado) was really bland and I had to add some hot sauce to give it some flavor. My friends ordered tacos and a chile relleno. They were surprised there wasn't any cheese on the tacos and said there wasn't much flavor to them. When they asked the waitress about not having cheese on the tacos she just said "yes, there isn't any cheese". Seemed like an odd response, no offer to bring some or an explanation of why they don't put cheese on their tacos. One friend requested corn tortillas and the others wanted flour when they were asked what kind they would like. We only were served flour ones. Everyone felt that food was not good and our server didn't do a very good job of making sure we were satisfied with our meals. There were only four of us so it wasn't like we had a large group and the restaurant only had a few filled tables. The emptiness on Cinco de Mayo should have given us a clue!
