First time here for me and my wife while we were out in Lodi for the afternoon. The place has a great setup inside, a lot of big tables, plenty of seating, and lively music that fits what they serve. I went with the steak fajitas and they came out hot with a good mix of peppers and onions. Plenty of flavor and a fair portion. My wife ordered the shrimp and fish tacos and those ended up being our favorite. They were crispy, well-seasoned, and put together nicely. We also tried a strawberry margarita, which was good but could've been sweeter. Service was fast, friendly, and our food came out quicker than expected. 100% will be back for more shrimp tacos!
We to visit this location, probably every of the month to get our seafood cravings over with. And that would usually consist of the ceviche cups or sometimes the oyster platter. As soon as the location opens usually around 11 AM it becomes very busy but not sure if they take reservations as we just usually walk in and kind of wait a couple of minutes and then we are seated or sometimes they ask us to see her self. I really enjoy the service that we get here every time we do visit because everybody that helps us out is very pleasant and nice and cordial. They do play the music very loud as if replicating you are in a live concert lol but sometimes it helps bring out the vibes depending on if somebody is celebrating an occasion. The atmosphere is kind of set up like a sailor ship or something rather but of course pertains to the sea. They do offer other things on their menu and they also serve alcohol beverages if that is of your interest. Their parking lot is shared with other businesses around the area so sometimes it's difficult to find a parking space. You may have to circle around a couple of times, but when you are at your table, you automatically Brought a appetizer size ceviche with crackers and tostadas.. for those that do enjoy picking out music their selves they do have a modernized jukebox that's located towards their back wall before reaching the restrooms. Overall, one of our go to spots when we wanna get out and have kind of like a late lunch or early dinner
Came here for the first time with my family on a Sunday afternoon. I've only tried piña rellena at one other place & never found anyone else that made this. They made the BEST piña rellena. I didn't order with octopus, only shrimp. So flavorful! Must come and try this place for sure.
Delicious mariscos here in Lodi, me & my mom go once a month at least. They have a great lunch menu 11-2. Service is always great & the food is always so delish! Complimentary ceviche is always a plus
What a hidden gem! If you love seafood, come here. The longostino plate is my favorite. The sauce that coats the prawns has such great flavor, spicy and tangy at the same time. Love dipping the cucumbers in the same sauce. The shrimp empanadas are a must order as well.
First time here and won't be my last! The food is so delicious and I can't wait to come back and try more off the menu. Came on a Sunday afternoon and it was very lively and full of music and families. Every booth was filled which told me all I needed to know... this place is legit. Service was welcoming and staff made sure we had everything we needed. As for food they started us off with a fish ceviche and tostadas instead of the usual chips and salsa which was impressive. We ordered two fish tacos and shrimp empanadas and washed it all down with a classic margarita. The fish tacos were beer battered to perfection and had plenty of flavor, I forgot to even squeeze lime on it lol. The shrimp empanadas had an almost sweet tasting masa, crispy on the outside but still fluffy inside. Everything had great flavor. 10/10 recommend and will come again!
OK this has the second time I have been here. The first thing that I want to say that I like about this place is instead of giving you salsa and chips they give you ceviche, which is really good. They have all kinds of seafood that you can think of and that you love and they also have other stuff like fajitas, this is what we tried this time and they were really good and we will be back again to try of the big seafood plates. Service was great and the ambience was pretty chill. So if you are in this area of a Lodi come try it out. I don't think you will be disappointed, unless you don't like seafood, but I will put up a few pictures and be back to see if they can earn that fifth star. Thanks.
Amazing Mexican Mariscos. Great price, excellent service. A must try if I'm the mood for seafood
My wife and I decided to venture around the town to see if we are missing out on any spots and boy did we miss this hidden gem!! The outside doesn't tell the story on what's really going on inside. You can tell this establishment is supported by the locals. The neighborhood is predominantly Hispanic, which is great because the food will be much more authentic. You can certainly feel the culture once you enter, the servers allow you to sit anywhere you'd like and the wait time wasn't too bad. All in all good service. Now the food: I could taste very flavored as each dish was perfectly seared and flavorful on the inside. I truly enjoyed each dish, the best thing I liked about the food is it was very fresh. I highly recommended coming here.
Everything was really tasty and delicious. Service was fast and friendly, but our server wasn't as attentive. I had to look for my server multiple times, but everything was still good. Overall the place was very clean and the ambiance was really nice.
Las Islitas has delicious Mariscos, huge miches, and fish ceviche with tostadas instead of salsa and chips- I love this restaurant. I found out about it around 2017 and have eaten here so many times since. The momias (shrimp and cheese wrapped in bacon and fried), all of the ceviches, camarones ala diabla, everything is delicious. And the micheladas are huge with shrimp and sliced cucumbers on the rim. Service has always been very warm and friendly. Today we walked over from Safelite because we had to fix a crack in our windshield. Ordered two regular miches and devoured the fish ceviche. Everything was great like it always is! read more

This is such a good place for mariscos/ seafood, specially during the summer when the temperature can get real high in the 209 area. Food: they have a vast variety of seafood plates and options. The mariscos/seafood tastes fresh and they are open to work with you for special request on your plate of choice. Location: there is plenty of parking space. The place is kind of small in my opinion, it get crowded over the weekend. My recommendation is for you to get there early. Ambiance: the music was loud, therefor be aware of possible complications to have a nice conversation without feeling that you gotta turn up your voice volume. The place could benefit from a little extra cleanliness, I understand it's a seafood place although it does give a sense of needing extra cleanliness. Team/staff: they are were attentive and ready to assist when needed. We had a little complication since two of our family members did not get their place fast, three of us had our plate ready and the other 2 waited a good 10 extra minutes. Maybe more organization over how to distribute table tables as a group. Nice experience and they also have alcoholic drinks which seem tasty and fresh. Their aguas frescas were delicious and super refreshing. Highly recommend visiting them ASAP! :) read more
Recently visited with 4 other family members. It was PACKED! When we arrived I asked if there was anything available and they offered a booth. The lady that assisted me seemed hesitant to offer me the booth but we didn't want to wait too long and we were able to squeeze ourselves in the booth. I had the ceviche (cazuela). It tasted good but not as good as the ceviche they give you when you arrive so you can snack while you wait for your food. My family members had clams, momias, aguachile, and fajitas. They said their food was fine. Surprisingly, out of all the meals we ordered the ceviches took the longest to get to us. We were seated when the soccer game started and my mom and I got our ceviches close to the halftime, that would be about 40 minutes waiting. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because of the time it took to get the food. Plus, when my dad tried to ask one of the waitresses for assistance she pretty much ignored him. I dont come here very often because it is far for me. Despite the time it took to get our food I would still visit if im in the area again. Just need to make sure it is not on a holiday. read more

The food is top notch! Pleasantly surprised with the generous portions. Flavor was great complimented the food without taking away the seafood taste. I recommend the Levanta Muertos plate and it's big enough for 2. Ceviche appetizer instead of the standard bowl of tortilla chips is a nice touch. We stopped in during lunch while working and they were busy. The staff were polite and friendly. Our food came quickly despite the crowd. Live Mariachi music taking requests from table to table. Noisy but fun, good family place as well. read more

A local favorite for fresh seafood with a Hispanic and Southern twist, a bit of drive from Sacramento but worth it to try if you don't mind the drive. Call ahead and make a reservation to ensure you're not waiting for a table, especially during weekends/holidays. Hosts are attentive and prompt, upon taking your order they'll provide each table with complimentary basket of tostada chips, crackers, a small portion of seafood ceviche with salsa. Definitely not as luxurious as table side guacamole but it's appreciated. Drink options are great and have a good portion size. Once the order is placed, the wait time can average 15 minutes. Freshness of the seafood is a consistent quality that we appreciate every time we dine at this small Resturant. We've tried the beef and chicken with shrimp fajitas, both were greasy but tasty. Ample parking options are available for customers. Overall rating a 3/5 due to cleanliness and greasy food. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have been here multiple times over the last couple years and have spent hundreds of dollars here . I've been food poisoned twice. Keep in mind we drive from Sacramento and this was my go to place for seafood. The first experience after eating here I found out I was pregnant, so assumed I was sick from that. I gave this place a try again after my pregnancy and was so was deathly ill from the raw oysters for a second time and the appetizer ceviche. My entire table was food poisoned as well. We experienced diarrhea for multiple days, extreme vomiting so bad that I busted blood vessels in my face. When I reached out to the restaurant just to Inform them they had an attitude, and brushed it off like if I purposely decided to ruin their Thursday afternoon by informing them How sick I was and I was very polite . I never asked once for my money back nor was rude just wanted to give some Information to the manager since everyone was sick and I've been hearing around town how people were becoming sick from the raw oysters. At this point I wish I would have got a refund for my mother in laws dinner. Such a waste of $168.00 plus I tipped 50 bucks Wow I Could have took her else where. Thanks to management for not taking this issue serious or returning a call. I never make google reviews but I encourage everyone to start and will have my entire circle of people complain until something is done. read more

Okkkkkayy.. 3x in one month and I am not from the area. They have complimentary ceviche and tostadas! And it fresh tasting. The first time I had the fried fish Al ajo. There was a nice crunch to the skin and moist meat. The garlic sauce was delicious. The table ended up using it as a dipping sauce and we ordered some to go. Of course.. that's if you like garlic sauce. Had the empanadas to share. They had a disney flare to the batter. It tasted like corn dog batter filled with shrimp. Will for sure get that again. The 2nd trip I had the camarones a la Diabla. Spicy but so flavorful. It wasn't a burn your mouth spicy it was a spice with a kick of sweetness or tangyness (I don't even thing that's a real word) To share had the agualies. Well balance with lime and chili. Not to cooked or raw. Shrimp had a well balanced texture as well. Also had the seafood pineapple. Great for the gram but the flavor gets repetitive. Don't get me wrong it's good and different but I did have to different sauces to it. Personal preference. For the kiddos I had ordered the popcorn shrimp. There is nothing popcorn about them. It's larger shrimp in a nice thick batter. It's a good portion for being a "kids meal". My 5 year old and 9 year old both enjoyed their meals. Service was on point. The wait on the 3 trip was about 20 mins. But this was on a Friday. All in all, of course I will go back! I mean 3x in one month says enough. read more

This place is pretty good if your a sea food lover, my girl got the fish she really recommended it. I got the asada plate because I'm not a fan of sea food but it was really good I had no complaints it was well seasoned. The only thing I would of liked to see if more non sea food options for those who would prefer steak or chicken. Even if it's just tacos or what not... I would come here again.. price for 2 meals and 4 beers came out to 70$. I guess that's standard price for restaurants anyways. Also they only have paper plates which was fine with me I didn't mind but I guess some people would care. I actually thought that was a good idea to avoid more cleaning at the end of shifts and probably even more sanitary due to covid. They play good music while you're there.. read more

First time coming to this restaurant. Walked in and didn't know if we wait to be seated or just find a table. We stood and waited to be helped ... about 6 mins before they cleaned a table and greeted us. They quickly brought over menus and ceviche and tostada and crackers. The ceviche was a little fishy but still good. We ordered shrimp cocktail- super delicious and lots of shrimp! I ordered the 7 mares soup they put so much meat in it!! Very generous portions. Tasted a little bland but nothing salt and hot sauce didn't fix. read more

The pina rellena is a beautifully presented pile of seafood on a half pineapple. Its fresh, flavorful and a good amount of spicy. It's also huge. Be hungry. Especially because you will also enjoy the complimentary ceviche they start you off with. Micheladas are also very good. I'd opt for the smaller ones, which still come perfectly mixed and topped with shrimp. You can order big ones where they turn your bottle over into the drink and then pour spicy sauce all over it. Ugh. I don't want to pull the dirty recycling out of my drink in order to drink it. Its cluttered and colorful inside. Bustling with people. Kinda loud. Kinda worn. But it's good. Really good actually, and worth your visit. read more

One of my all time favorite Mexican mariscos!! The food here is always so good and fulfilling. Full of flavor and large enough for two. The drinks are delicious and refreshing. The surroundings is always a vibe! Very colorful and full of culture. They let you jam out at the jukebox so the vibe depends on who's playing the music. The service is always good. I did have an incident recently with them forgetting my tostada mixto and adding another drink into my bill but they apologized and accommodated my drink for next time so no complaints because nobody is perfect, especially when busy. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone because it's seriously the bomb! read more
