Such great customer service! Found on a fluke! Food was so fresh I don't even like octopus and it was actually sooo good! Everything was FRESH with fresh yes there's a wait! If you want your food rushed or premade and reheated then go elsewhere lol but if you want fresh and authentic this is your go to! It's hard finding good Mariscos in Stockton. After hearing good things about the food decided to give this place a try. Food: I ordered an empanada with pulpo and shrimp, and a tostada with shrimp ceviche. My mom ordered an empanada with shrimp and a small shrimp coctel. They don't skimp on any shrimp or octopus so that's good, but they can step it up with the flavor. Empanadas are crisp and flaky, served hot. When we asked if the empanadas are one single or several, and if it's large the lady just pointed to the picture. Ok that tells us everything. So if you order it is a very large empanada closer to the size of a small calzone. It's served with a salad and rice. The rice isn't worth the calories as it tastes like nothing. Service: Terrible service. The ladies at the front let us wait until they could be bothered to take our orders. No greetings, no eye contact, and she couldn't even answer simple questions about the food. I didn't even know if she was ready to take my order as she acted like she was doing something avoiding eye contact at all costs. Being the first time I've ever gone I had a few questions as I didnt want to over order. Ordering in Spanish didn't help get any more answers, so may as well not even ask. The only decent service was the cook/bus man who helped clean the tables. He brought the rest of our food to our tables and was kind. Dunno what crawled up the lady's butt, but she shouldn't be working in service if she's that unfriendly. This place is awesome. The shrimp cocktail is delicious and filling. I always get the large shrimp cocktail which is about 15 bucks. I'm a big dude and this cocktail is filling. They also give you crackers and tostadas for your Cocktail. The only issue is this place fluctuates on service speed. There are times they get the food out fast and then service can be a bit slow. Either way worth the wait. I hear the ceviche tostadas are awesome. Unfortunately I can't tell you this since I'll never order one since it's made with onions. I hate onions. Yuck! read more

So the freshness wasn't there. No crunchyness to the cucumbers the taste was bland. This joint is a pick up your order at the counter type of place so that was a plus for me. What I didn't like was that they didn't have both of my orders at the same time. They could've at least warned about it, but the girl at the counter recovered by making it herself. What took a bit was the camarón empanada comes with a side salad and rice $7 this thing was really good. Well Worth the wait, I should've ordered two of these. Came all the way over here for some shrimp. Ordered 6 shrimp tacos on corn tortillas and they came with barely any lettuce and no jalapeno. I also have lime and cucumber with some type of sauce that's kind of hot and some pico de gallo that's not hot. What's good is they came then separate boxes three apiece. The couple's were okay kind of greasy. All it is is one piece of shrimp deep fried covered with lettuce. The sauces are okay didn't use the line but I ate a cucumber. I tried the both the shrimp and fish taco ($2 each), yummy, good portion size and it comes with lots of sides (rice, salsa, cucumbers, jalapenos). I also had their shrimp and octopus empanada ($4)... the octopus in it is delish! It had a little too much bread for me though.
