Piña rellena
Sienna G.

Came here for the first time with my family on a Sunday afternoon. I've only tried piña rellena at one other place & never found anyone else that made this. They made the BEST piña rellena. I didn't order with octopus, only shrimp. So flavorful! Must come and try this place for sure.

What a hidden gem! If you love seafood, come here. The longostino plate is my favorite. The sauce that coats the prawns has such great flavor, spicy and tangy at the same time. Love dipping the cucumbers in the same sauce. The shrimp empanadas are a must order as well.

First time here and won't be my last! The food is so delicious and I can't wait to come back and try more off the menu. Came on a Sunday afternoon and it was very lively and full of music and families. Every booth was filled which told me all I needed to know... this place is legit. Service was welcoming and staff made sure we had everything we needed. As for food they started us off with a fish ceviche and tostadas instead of the usual chips and salsa which was impressive. We ordered two fish tacos and shrimp empanadas and washed it all down with a classic margarita. The fish tacos were beer battered to perfection and had plenty of flavor, I forgot to even squeeze lime on it lol. The shrimp empanadas had an almost sweet tasting masa, crispy on the outside but still fluffy inside. Everything had great flavor. 10/10 recommend and will come again!

Vuelve A La Vida,

Had the Vuelve A La Vida with shrimp, octopus, imitation crab meat, imitation abalone, and a raw oyster. It was very good and tasty, would recommend and order again.

Steak and shrimp dinner with all the goodies

I love this restaurant. The food the atmosphere is so good!! The service is so friendly and helpful. U will not be disappointed!!! So much food, and never a bad meal.

OK this has the second time I have been here. The first thing that I want to say that I like about this place is instead of giving you salsa and chips they give you ceviche, which is really good. They have all kinds of seafood that you can think of and that you love and they also have other stuff like fajitas, this is what we tried this time and they were really good and we will be back again to try of the big seafood plates. Service was great and the ambience was pretty chill. So if you are in this area of a Lodi come try it out. I don't think you will be disappointed, unless you don't like seafood, but I will put up a few pictures and be back to see if they can earn that fifth star. Thanks.

Everything was really tasty and delicious. Service was fast and friendly, but our server wasn't as attentive. I had to look for my server multiple times, but everything was still good. Overall the place was very clean and the ambiance was really nice.

Levanta Muertos Plate

The food is top notch! Pleasantly surprised with the generous portions. Flavor was great complimented the food without taking away the seafood taste. I recommend the Levanta Muertos plate and it's big enough for 2. Ceviche appetizer instead of the standard bowl of tortilla chips is a nice touch. We stopped in during lunch while working and they were busy. The staff were polite and friendly. Our food came quickly despite the crowd. Live Mariachi music taking requests from table to table. Noisy but fun, good family place as well.

Fish taco

Best fish taco, it was delicious! They didn't skimp on the fish & my beer was nice and cold.

Stopped in for a Michelada because I hear there's is the best. Was not disappointed. Can't wait to come back and try their food. Everything looked awesome.

Ni ala mitad llegan los frijoles

Parece que no tenían suficiente frijoles ni arroz Para el precio que pagué por este platillo Es para que viniera bien servido . Muy decepcionada

Beef fajitas

A local favorite for fresh seafood with a Hispanic and Southern twist, a bit of drive from Sacramento but worth it to try if you don't mind the drive. Call ahead and make a reservation to ensure you're not waiting for a table, especially during weekends/holidays. Hosts are attentive and prompt, upon taking your order they'll provide each table with complimentary basket of tostada chips, crackers, a small portion of seafood ceviche with salsa. Definitely not as luxurious as table side guacamole but it's appreciated. Drink options are great and have a good portion size. Once the order is placed, the wait time can average 15 minutes. Freshness of the seafood is a consistent quality that we appreciate every time we dine at this small Resturant. We've tried the beef and chicken with shrimp fajitas, both were greasy but tasty. Ample parking options are available for customers. Overall rating a 3/5 due to cleanliness and greasy food.

We also got steamed white rice, hush puppies, and calamari on the side. The restaurant is located in a large strip mall with plenty of parking, and inside has a cute beachy/ocean vibe. The space was very clean and comfortable. The seafood boil came out piping hot and was absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. The steamed rice was fluffy and paired really well with the seafood, and we enjoyed the hush puppies too. The one thing we didn't care for was the calamari. Unfortunately, it was extremely tough and chewy, which made it hard to eat, so we wouldn't order that again. The wait staff was friendly and on top of things throughout our meal, which we appreciated. Overall, I think this place has the best seafood boil in the area, especially for the price - you get a lot more food here compared to other local seafood boil spots. We'll definitely be back!

She was very nice and helpful. We shared a piña con coco cocktail, which I really enjoyed. It had a spicy rim and was sweet, but not too sweet. We ordered the guacamole, which was made tableside. I ordered the enchiladas al comal, which looked really good. Unfortunately, I didn't love the chipotle sauce on the enchiladas and wished I had ordered a more traditional red or green sauce. But it was still good, and I can see why it's popular. I did enjoy the steak and vegetables inside the enchiladas. I was leaning toward a 4-star rating since I didn't love my enchiladas and wouldn't order them again. But Isabella's service was so excellent that it alone pushed my review to a 5.

The prickly pear margarita tasted more like a pink Jolly Rancher than anything else, which just wasn't for me. My fajitas were alright, but they came without any sour cream or guac and the pico was mainly onion. When I asked the waiter, he told me they don't come with it, even though the menu said otherwise. Without those, the fajitas ended up being really dry. I ended up just paying and getting ready to leave, but when I grabbed a menu again and asked about it, they apologized and offered me chips and salsa to go, which I appreciated. The staff was very nice throughout, but the whole experience felt a bit disorganized. Overall, it just didn't feel like a good value for the money, and I left pretty underwhelmed.

I can finally say it was 4 out of 5. Next time, I'll probably order the "Burn My Tongue" level because I love my food really spicy...like really spicy. I definitely enjoy bold heat. The service was decent as well. I just wish our server had come back to check on us a couple more times because it was a little hard to get her attention. I needed a few extra lemons, and it took a while to ask. Other than that, everything was good overall.

I really wanted to like this spot, but we probably won't be coming back anytime soon…read more We love the Milpitas location and assumed all locations offered the same drinks. We were disappointed to find out this one doesn't offer micheladas or Coke Zero (only Diet), both of which the Milpitas location offers. Service was also frustrating. We came in for a Friday lunch and they weren't busy, yet it took a while for anyone to acknowledge us and seat us. Even getting our order in was difficult because our server rarely came by. There were only a few other tables and three servers total, so it didn't make sense. We had to wave multiple times just to get someone's attention. The biggest issue was when we ordered 3 lunch shrimp boils and added 1/2 lb of extra sausage. Each lunch is supposed to come with 1 corn, 2pcs sausage, 2 pcs potatoes, and 1 boiled egg. Naturally, we assumed ordering 3 lunches would mean three orders of all of that, and one of the bags would have the extra sausage. Instead, they put all the shrimp into one bag. Ok fine but then we noticed we only had 1 corn when we should've had 3 in there. Once we noticed we were short on corn, we realized we were short on everything else too, with 2 pcs potatoes, and 1 egg in the entire bag. When we brought it up, our server said we should have specified that we wanted three separate bags. That didn't make sense to us. We've ordered the same way at the Milpitas location and received 3 separate bags with all the included items in each. Even if they combined everything into one bag, it doesn't explain why we were missing sides or why we would want less sides. She did say she'd bring out the missing items, but again, it was difficult to get her attention. The servers were mostly standing behind the counter instead of checking on tables. We also noticed their lunch pricing varies depending on shrimp head-on or head-off, which is different from the other location (they charge the same for either) and the Stockton location is slightly more expensive for lunch too..maybe b/c they add an egg? The egg was also over boiled and almost grey inside (you know what I'm talking about!) The yolk just crumbled. The sauce though was consistent and that's what we love about Cajun Crackin. Same great flavor. Overall, we wanted to give this location a chance, but between the slow service, the pushback on what should have been a straightforward order, and the limited drink options, it just didn't leave a good impression.

I ate here twice, one day for a light dinner in the bar and another in the main restaurant…read more The ambiance is very pleasant, perhaps call it farmhouse chic with a sophisticated yet cozy feeling as though you're eating at someone's house. It's contemporary and the furnishings are quite comfortable. It's the type of place you can settle in and have a casual meal without feeling rushed. Prices are high yet the quality is excellent. For the first evening at the bar we settled into a high top table. You can sit at the bar, lounge type seating or outdoors on a pleasantly shaded patio. They had an expanded bar bites menu as the main restaurant is closed on Wednesdays... most of it quite enticing. We opted for cocktails to start and I chose a specialty Date Maple Old Fashioned. It was really good with a large ice ball to chill it. For bar bites we shared the pork belly sandwiches (small, delicious but messy to eat), the sausage skewers (amazing!) and crab cups (refreshingly light and easy to eat). After cocktails we had glasses of a light white wine, made with Santorini Greek grapes. For the next meal in the dining room the place was a buzz with activity but conversation was easy without a lot of excessive noise. It's intimate and the room is quite pleasant for a gourmet meal. We started with cocktails (same Old Fashioned) and shared the grilled Brussels Sprouts which were plentiful and ever so delicious. They were slightly over grilled for my taste yet it didn't distract from me enjoying them. We got bread which was a baguette with butter and the consistency perfect for a French style loaf. For my entree I debated between the scallops and the pork chop and went with the chop. I was quite pleased as the chop came in thick slices and drizzled with a tarragon mustard reduction sauce. It was amazing, tender, juicy and at 22oz I couldn't finish it all. It came with a tasty apple sauce and grilled seared cabbage. Absolutely delicious. Ed, celebrating a birthday, had steak which came with a huge bowl of mashed potatoes which I tasted. Oh my gosh, the creamiest potatoes ever! For dessert we shared the cheese plate, a really great way to end the meal, with glasses of a twany port. All of the cheeses from a brie to a hard cheese were top quality. Service both times was very attentive, professional yet personable. We were well cared for and everything went smoothly. It's expensive yet the experience and value is worth visiting. Make a reservation.

The flat iron steak was marinated in meat tenderizer liquid which has a very distinct taste and side effects. The sauce it came with was bitter and, sadly, disgusting! We have been having indigestion from this all night. Didn't even finish it. The pork chop was very dry and extremely salty. Flavor was decent. The potato puree had a nice flavor and texture, but incredibly salty. I love salty potatoes, but this was over the top. The Verde rice that came with the steak was under cooked and crunchy. We really enjoyed when it used to be Towne House. Unfortunately, won't be going back for food there anymore.
