This place is decent. I've been here a couple of times before and didn't really care for it, but this time I switched up the sauce and went with the garlic butter with lemon pepper. I can finally say it was 4 out of 5. Next time, I'll probably order the "Burn My Tongue" level because I love my food really spicy...like really spicy. I definitely enjoy bold heat. I really wanted to like this spot, but we probably won't be coming back anytime soon. We love the Milpitas location and assumed all locations offered the same drinks. We were disappointed to find out this one doesn't offer micheladas or Coke Zero (only Diet), both of which the Milpitas location offers. Service was also frustrating. We came in for a Friday lunch and they weren't busy, yet it took a while for anyone to acknowledge us and seat us. Even getting our order in was difficult because our server rarely came by. There were only a few other tables and three servers total, so it didn't make sense. We had to wave multiple times just to get someone's attention. The biggest issue was when we ordered 3 lunch shrimp boils and added 1/2 lb of extra sausage. Each lunch is supposed to come with 1 corn, 2pcs sausage, 2 pcs potatoes, and 1 boiled egg. Naturally, we assumed ordering 3 lunches would mean three orders of all of that, and one of the bags would have the extra sausage. Instead, they put all the shrimp into one bag. Ok fine but then we noticed we only had 1 corn when we should've had 3 in there. Once we noticed we were short on corn, we realized we were short on everything else too, with 2 pcs potatoes, and 1 egg in the entire bag. When we brought it up, our server said we should have specified that we wanted three separate bags. That didn't make sense to us. We've ordered the same way at the Milpitas location and received 3 separate bags with all the included items in each. Even if they combined everything into one bag, it doesn't explain why we were missing sides or why we would want less sides. She did say she'd bring out the missing items, but again, it was difficult to get her attention. The servers were mostly standing behind the counter instead of checking on tables. We also noticed their lunch pricing varies depending on shrimp head-on or head-off, which is different from the other location (they charge the same for either) and the Stockton location is slightly more expensive for lunch too..maybe b/c they add an egg? The egg was also over boiled and almost grey inside (you know what I'm talking about!) The yolk just crumbled. The sauce though was consistent and that's what we love about Cajun Crackin. Same great flavor. Overall, we wanted to give this location a chance, but between the slow service, the pushback on what should have been a straightforward order, and the limited drink options, it just didn't leave a good impression. read more

Genuinely the best seafood boil I've ever had. I'm from SoCal go to school in Stockton and I've genuinely never found a seafood boil better in SoCal. I'm currently on summer break so I'm missing the seafood boil in Stockton. The crawfish mussels and clams are actually the biggest I've ever seen like idk what theyre feeding these creatures but THEYRE HUGE. Sauces are always different at seafood boil spots and this one is the perfect mix of buttery, spicy, sweet without being too salty or oily. The servers are always nice but I will say the wait for food is usually kind of long but it's so worth the wait. The restaurant is also really big and I've never had to wait for a table! read more

The food was awesome and definitely the highlight of our visit. Everything came out tasting great, and we'd absolutely order it again. Unfortunately, the service left a bit to be desired. The restaurant had very few customers in it at the time, yet there appeared to be well over ten employees on shift. A large group of staff members seemed to be standing around talking amongst themselves, and it felt like customer service wasn't really a priority during our visit. For a restaurant that wasn't busy and had plenty of staff available, we expected more attentiveness, better communication, and a more welcoming experience overall. The place if one of the best for Cajun but the selection of items you get vs order places is a little bit more limited. My biggest issue is the automatic 18% gratuity for parties over 6+ which they really should think about families that are 6+ especially if there's 2 adults and 4/5 kids. Parties of adults understandable but actually families being charged 18% more is kinda ridiculous when the service doesn't change and you're not a priority. Yet still expect a tip on top. I finally tried it with my granddaughter yesterday. Her favorite restaurant is Captain Crab, so I thought we would try this to compare. The young lady who sat us at our table was very friendly and complimented us on what we were wearing. She said our server will be by shortly. It was a little busy, so our server took almost 10 minutes to take our order. She was not as nice as the lady that seated us, but she took our order. It was happy hour at 3pm so I ordered the gumbo and calamari for $5.50 each. I liked them both. I also ordered the seafood combo #2 boil with Dungeness crab, deveined shrimp & clams. It only came with 1 crab cluster instead of 2, like Captain Crab. The boil included a piece of corn, hard boiled eggs, potatoes and 4 pieces of sausage. I got Cajun and garlic butter sauce with medium heat. My granddaughter loves hers spicy so I ordered a spicy one for her on the side which came in a small ketchup container. It didn't have butter so she had to mix it with some butter from the boil onto her plate. I thought the sauce was very good! It had lots, and I mean lots of garlic in it, which I loved. It wasn't overly salted like sometimes Captain Crabs could be. The seafood was about the same as CC's. Overall, I liked the taste of the food, but they should include 2 clusters of Dungeness instead of 1. It was my family's first time trying this Cajun seafood restaurant! We love a good seafood boil, so we had high hopes. We were very impressed with the service and the food itself. The staff are so attentive and the restaurant is nicely decorated. The shrimp and muscles were cooked just right, the mild sauce had the perfect kick without over doing it and loved the garlic chunks in the sauce. We came on a Saturday night for dinner. They are in a shopping center so there is plenty of parking but it is very dark. No lights There were only a couple of tables so we got right in. Pretty basic menu you pick which combo of seafood you want and then you pick your sauce and spice level. We picked the special sauce which is the combo of all 4 and mild heat. Sadly the mild was spicy. There is a lot of garlic in their sauce. A robot brought our drinks which was fun and our server was very nice. This is a nice place to get your crab fix. You going to get messy if you don't wear your bib and gloves haha. First, this place is a vibe with a lot of great upgrades iykyk but the employees are beyond the nicest and most attentive wait staff anywhere in Stockton. We have tried half the menu at this point lol and every item was not just good they were all great!! From bag boils to lobster rolls to chicken wings and shrimp po'boy with the cajun fries and crawfish fried rice or garlic noodles even the dang gumbo was hitting hard at this place. The seafood was fresh tasting and the seasoning were adjustable to spice levels and flavor options and if you like garlic you're gonna love this place! The portions were big and we couldn't finish both times but the leftovers were even better the next day. We literally didn't have to ask for anything both times our servers were exceptional and made sure we have everything from bibs to gloves and wipes to big plates of lemons and sauces and seasonings and the Robot even brought it to us!
