To start with, the customer service was top tier! The door was opened for us upon arrival and we were escorted to our seats. We arrived just in time for happy hour and were definitely happy to partake in the 2 for $5.00 beers. We followed those with fresh made hand crafted soju cocktails which were absolutely delectable. Our server gave us just the right amount of attention checking on us and asking if we had any questions about the menu. We ended up ordering the house fried rice and combo number one. The portions were generous to say the least! The rice came with shrimp and bell peppers and deliciously garlicky. The combo came with shrimp, corn, potatoes, mussels and hot link. We chose the Cajun broth medium spice. We were pleasantly surprised by the presentation and so happy that it was not served in the bag that you usually see. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection I cannot say enough good things about the food! I can't wait to come back!

$25 for their combo #1 wasn't too bad. But $16.95 for half a pound of crawfish is crazy... Would that make a pound of crawfish $30? Even tho, the service was friendly I wouldn't be returning because the quality of food wasn't there for me. The sauce was very watery.

Decent crab boil spot. The prices are decent here but could get expensive if you are looking to eat crab or something other than shrimp and crawfish. The sauce is decent. I am used to the thicker sauce at other places. This is more oily. The garlic noodles and wings were good. The seafood was really fresh. The crawfish were all fresh and not shriveled up/bad. The shrimp was not over cooked. The food all comes out in a bowl and you can share that. It was quiet inside but there are tons of tvs around to watch games. Service was good. The servers kept checking on us.

I remember it tasting better years ago. The garlic butter oysters was just ok, the other with sautéed onions had more flavor. Crawdad size was decent and the shrimp head as well. Food came out piping hot but I think it'll take me awhile until I return again.

Dungeness crab w/ garlic butter ft buffalo wings

Nowadays it's rare to receive good food and service. Come here and you'll receive both. I got the dungeness crab in garlic butter sauce. It was very good. This garlic butter sauce is creamy and very lightly sweet as opposed to a typical saltier sauce. Be aware of that. My husband mentioned wanting salt, but I couldn't hear him over me slurping and cracking down my deliciously fresh crab. The crab is clean! The crab is clean! That's if you want it to be. I swear places don't care to clean crab, but Crab Zone will. Now don't get me wrong, you will have to pay for what you're getting. My crab was $75, but it was a great treat. I'd have to cook it home to get it done right for cheaper so no regrets over here. Oh yeah, we also got buffalo wings and fries. We'll come back just for those lol.

My fave Cajun spot in Stockton, we come here at least once every 2 weeks. Food is always good and service is always quick. It's a mom/pop restaurant, the wife memorizes all the orders and always gets the order right. I love how their sauce blend for their boil isn't chunky and it's actually spicy! The Cajun fries are super crunchy and fresh. The buffalo wings are always good and the calamari was tasty as well! I ordered the lychee drink and let's just say they weren't shy with the alcohol!! Overall great spot for dinner!!

Service was good and we pre ordered for 745pm and came last minute as the place closes at 8 or 830. By the time we got there food came out quick. Hands down still the best house crab sauce I've had. Roasted garlic pieces with a creamy butter sauce. It comes with a small order of garlic noodles. Of course with a 5 you have to upgrade it to a large. This is definitely the reason I come here. If you're in the Stockton area, it's a must try! We also ordered crawfish, shrimp, and clams, spicy. I love their sauce for the boil. I actually mix it in with my garlic noodles and crab sauce. The fried platter was okay. Came out a little over cooked which is shrimp clams fries and other fried seafood. I don't order this anymore, but my sister did. The tartar sauce was good and creamy.

First thing was I walked in we did not get greeted right away but I noticed the lady that seated us and took our order was standing there talking to the other customers instead of greeting us and telling us she'll be with us in a second. It wasn't that busy, I got there around 7pm. They had cute decorations and good music playing. Food came out quick. The sauce wasn't what I expected. I think boil wise this isn't my favorite spot. In town I would recommend Blazin Cajun & then Captain Crab buuuut I would rather drive to Sac for a good boil. The sauce I picked was something like a lemon herb sauce. There weren't any type of herbs in the sauce and I couldn't even taste the lemon. It just tasted like a sweet butter sauce. I would definitely recommend their garlic fries & banh Canh. Sadly I don't think it's worth coming for their seafood boil. Overall, I'm giving 2 stars bc the food came out quick, garlic fries & soup was good. The server was nice & took our order without a notepad. Lol

10/10 would recommend Food so good you feel like hugging the staff. Service so polite you're excited to tip. All in an laid back setting. I live far but drive all the way to Stockton just for this restaurant. Tempted not to review so it stays a hidden gem.

Not sure how this place is a 3 star. The food and service was great. Fresh seafood is worth every penny. Crawfish, crab and clams were so fresh. Spoke to the owner and they said they fly in their crawfish everyday. It shows. I don't think any place in Stockton carry's fresh seafood. Definitely coming back. The outside looks deceiving. Atmosphere inside is cool. Try their fried rice - to die for. Ask for Nicole, she was super attentive and on top of it.

They've been around for over 30 years so that's a statement on its own. Place is big (lots of seating), bright with natural light. Service casual with a nice wine/cocktail menu, cloth napkins and bread service. The early evening visit I went was super quiet and it seemed like the servers knew all the regulars in there. I like that vibe. Glass of Pinot Gris ($10/4.5*) Anytime I travel around and dine I try find if a local wine is available. I saw they had this unique white wine from a Lodi winery so I immediately went with that. Cool, crisp, slight stone fruit aroma with a minerally finish. Love those traits in a white wine with seafood. Cajun Shrimp ($20/3.5*) Upon arrival for the price I initially thought it was an iffy portion for the price. 6 smallish shrimps (1 n a half bites per shrimp). Very simply prepared, grilled lightly with just a smidge of cajun seasoning then served with 2 sauces (a cocktail and tartar). But as I ate these, I did start to like them more and more. The seasoning was not bold but did work well with the grill flavor. And a dab of creamy tartar sauce complimented the spiced-grill flavor nicely, and it paired super nice with the pinot gris. These ended up being better than I had initially perceived. Clam Chowder (4.5*) I chose a cup of chowder as it comes with an entree. A salad can also be had if you wanted. But I found their chowder to be quite ideal. Perfect creamy texture without being too thick and stodgy, and great presence of potatoes and tender clams. The flavor could be more briny/clam-y but that's just my preference. Great with a dab of Tabasco and a dip from their hearty table bread. Snapper Filet ($24/4*) Thin filet seasoned very mildly if any at all. Chose for it to be grilled versus fried or sauted. But you have choices here which I applaud. But it was so mild that I took a half pat of butter and melted it on top of the filet, sprinkled with salt and a squeeze of lemon. Totally amped up the dish. Next time I think I'll try a more involved dish like a seafood pasta. Served with nicely steamed veggies and red potatoes which I find comforting with simple seafood. Too full for dessert and their offerings did look promising. I visit my retired aunt and uncle in this town a couple times per year. I think I'm gonna include this place as part of our options for dining outs. See ya again Bud's, well played.

Welcome to Garlic Brothers - my favorite garlic restaurant in Stockton. I would say my favorite…read moreItalian restaurant - but at Garlic Bro's, it really is all about the garlic. And I love it! Garlic Bro's is a not so hidden local favorite that has become much more popular through the years. It sits right on the Delta for a perfect water-front view for outside dining and those lucky enough to get the huge bay window seating on the inside. I can order a full meal just on the appetizers alone. Ive tried them all. The fried raviolis and the grilled duck wraps (in bacon) are among my favorites. Garlic Bro's has a unique selection of oven baked pizza's but when I come to Garlic Bro's, it's all about the entree's for me. My all-time favorite is the grilled garlic steak. It is the best rib eye steak in Stockton. I order mine blackened (crispy outside) with the brown mushroom gravy that comes in a side dish. For sides, I order the garlic mashed potatoes. They taste creamy good by itself but remember the mushroom brown gravy I ordered for the steak? It's really for my garlic mashed potato's. A perfect combo. Consider this a Pro Tip. My other side is the green death pasta. You have to request it (another Pro Tip). I've tried pesto pasta everywhere and it's only this delicious at Garlic Bro's. The honorable mention is the grilled pork steak. The best pork steak in Stockton. The grilled lamb chops are good - just not as great as the other two entrees....but I'm a very tough critic when it comes to lamb chops. One thing to know at Garlic Bro's is they don't water down the mixed drinks. You definitely get what you pay for. And the price tag is actually pretty reasonable. Garlic Bro's can get very busy so come early for good seats and parking - because they don't take reservations.
