We tried RoRo's last night (Nov 2023) when they visited Brethren Brewing Company in Manteca. They have a great selection with something that most people will like! I tried the one-way meal and ordered catfish and red snapper. My meal was great and they gave a great amount of food and it came with tartar sauce and hot sauce. The fries were also great. My wife ordered the tilapia fish sandwich. She said her sandwich tasted great was a bit difficult to eat as the edges of the fish were a bit dry and that made it a bit difficult for her to eat. Tip: Bring Cash for tipping. They do not add tips to your card purchase. Which is a bummer because our waitress was really nice. But we didn't have any cash. The meat portions are really big. My first visit here and I was totally impressed with the quality of the food. I had the bbq pork ribs, Mac and cheese, and collard greens. The ribs were tender with a tasty sauce and the meat fell off the bone! I really dug how the Mac cheese tasted. Cheesy, full of flavor and seasoned just right. The collard greens were tender, fresh and had the home cooked taste I was hoping for. The cold Stella Artois brew topped off a great lunch. This place could use a little brightening up though. The walls are painted a dark brown that was a bit depressing for me. And I noticed several people outside had to press their faces up against the window to see if it was open. I plan on going back to try the other menu items there were lots of fish and shrimp dishes I'm wanting to try. Our waitress was friendly and efficient and also took the time to explain and describe the menu options. Big Ro, the chef, was polite and friendly too. By far the worst restaurant in STOCKTON, CALI to use Door Dash. They are brain dead, dumb ass zombies serving up food. They don't thouroughly READ the order placed, just throw the fuckin food together. I'd rather travel to the Bay and get good QUALITY BBQ, NOT BAKED OR BOILED, but REAL AUTHENTIC BBQ. At least they know how to read and CARE about the quality of food they serve to the public. I will also be leaving a NEGATIVE review with Door Dash as well. Second time I came to RORo's and food was as good as the first time. I had the catfish with potato salad and nothing was left on my plate but a napkin. The owner is a great cook as he was down a cook but he stepped up and cooked our food and brought out a delicious peach cobbler with ice cream. Was a perfect meal to end a perfect day read more

MB First time eating here, they have a good location, friendly people, and the place is larger than I expected. I ordered a chicken n prawn combo w/onion rings which were delicious. The portions however were very disappointing; 3 chicken wingettes and 3 prawns $13 plus tax. read more

Location is In the sketchy part of downtown Stockton. As we walked in there was a Blues band warming up. A long bar in which they only sell cans of beer and cheap wine. There was a guy sleeping in one of the booths as we passed him to go to our seats. I was really trying to give this black business a chance do I sat down and looked over the very limited menu. We ordered the Snapper and fries, a hot link sandwich and the two way combo of Snapper and Prawns. I wanted to order a soda but all they had was generic can soda for 2 dollars! The foood came, it was Smart and Final fish that I could've made at home. Bag fries and the portions were small for a 16 dollar combo. Killer home made food. I fell into the rich and amazing mac and cheese and was lifted up by the fantastic ribs. Cooked perfectly with just the right amount of smoke and enough texture to pull the meet from the bone but not at all tough. The shrimp and chicken are breaded with a cornmeal and spice bath that will give you the crunch and spice you wont soon forget. All of the sauces and sides will not disappoint. But by far the service of the owners Roland and Rosa "Ro Ros" will have you wanting to come back for more. Its Friday night and we are waiting to hear the live music fire up. I was told about this place by a great friend of mine. Decided to check it out for lunch and I'm glad I did. I ordered the one way, catfish, mild bbq links and potato salad. The moment I bit into the catfish I was in heaven. Seasoned and fried just right! I had lunch here the other day. I ordered ribs and hot links. The ribs were good, however tha hot links were not hot links they were breakfast sausage and tasted very much like em. I was very disappointed. Collard greens did not taste fresh. They were more than likely frozen than reheated. Needed seasoning as well. Will give this place another try. Food was decent, VERY SMALL portions, I ordered the 2 way combo, they were out of tri tip so I told them to double up the ribs and only got 4 medium sized ribs, they were seasoned well but the meat was kind of dry, for my side I ordered the mac and cheese and since the portions are so small I had to order 2 extra sides at $2.50 each and there's probably 4-5 bites in each one. Customer service is pretty good but that doesn't make up for the fact that i paid almost $25 and I'm still hungry. read more

Parked in front of RoRo's on our way to a place across the street. Weren't too impressed with said establishment and heard a band playing so we went in to roro's. It was 20 min before they closed and they didn't mention they were closing nor did they rush us out the door. We got a 4 piece snapper to go for $10 that included French fries and it was delicious!! We're going back on Friday for live music and more fish. Only downside is they don't have a liquor license yet but they've only been open a short time. read more

Love this Stockton Venue. Friday night live music was awesome. Local musicians were free to come up and add to the flavor. The service is great and the food is amazing and reasonably priced. Looking forward to next Friday night. They do serve beer and wine as well. This is my kind of place. Had an appointment at the salon next door and was hungry so stopped in for the first time. Ordered the turkey burger and it was the best, juiciest turkey burger I have ever had! Best of all....you get a side with it too. I had mac n cheese. Everyone was very friendly, from staff to customers. Can't wait to go back and try some more dishes. read more

This place is great, don't judge a book by its cover. It looks very rough but the guy running the place was super friendly and provided excellent service. Me and 4 coworkers all got different things from the ribs to tri tip to a hamburger and were all very happy with the cost, quantity, and taste. I was told this place was really good so I never expected to be disappointed I had catfish and greens and a side of their onion rings. The onion rings were pre cooked freezer bought and by the time I got home they tasted stale. Food: first of all, very small portions in regards to sides. Served in small plastic "to go" containers and food served in "boats". So if you get a 3 way meat deal, you have to pick through your food, including the plastic containers with the sides contained in them to make sure you got what you ordered. A food item was forgotten on mine so I had to let them know. Hands and fingers were a mess. They did have napkins though! Greens were over cooked, cold, not so good a flavor and had the consistency of spinach. Fish was over cooked and dry. You could see some burnt patches on the fish, not golden brown like I was expecting. A little bland. Maybe old oil was used. Not good. Gave them two stars for effort. Not good enough for me to return to eat here. I've had better. If this restaurant will listen to customers and their concerns, they will be around for a while, if not, they will be closing soon. Side note: they should also screen their bands to make sure they are pleasing to the ear to hear. People will walk out if someone is off key or the music is horrible. read more
