A small little rundown store with limited choices and they didn't even have chicharon. The food wasn't hot nor was it great.

Food was really flavorful! I had the pork adobo it was a really good the pancit needed a little bit of more flavor. Only downfall was they ran out of Chicharon out on by 12noon !!! They only had four different food options at lunchtime! Their picture showed chicken they had no chicken plates for lunch. The service was so low kind of felt ignored. How can you call yourself Gings chicharon and run out of Chicharron. They were out of the menu items too I wish I could give a higher rating but it is what it is . We were visiting and saw a new spot to try. Breakfast is served from 10-12 and lunch after 12. We tried the bangus, lechon, and the chicharon. If you are interested in trying the lechon you should come during the weekend to ensure it's available. Very reasonable prices and good selection of dishes for the combos. Ordered lumpia and chicharonnes, both are fantastic. The chicharonnes are a delight to your mouth, I don't know how to explain the fact that fried pork skins can be creamy but these ones were. This is really good authentic Filipino food. Dinuguon is my favorite dish. This dish brought me back to my childhood and reminded me of my grand father. My husband tried the sigsig, lumpia Shanghai and Chicharon. He loved everything . This is a must try restaurant. The staff and owner are very friendly. The atmosphere is very welcoming. I really wanted to support this place because its local. But, it has its hiccups. First time I went was fine - plenty of food, reasonable price. Second time, I went on a Saturday - no food offered as they were doing a catering event. Went back the next Saturday - another catering event but offered a limited option of food. Today is Wednesday - again a limited offering of food. Summation: dont go on a weekend as Saturday is event day, and closed on Sundays. Dont look at the brunch menu as its never served. Be ready to choose from the limited options of 1 or 2 items. read more

I really like this deli/restaurant and have tried many of their dishes with favorable results. Unfortunately, I had the dinuguan (my usual order) and was really disappointed. I would say the ratio of fat to meat was not acceptable, 80% was fat and that's being conservative. I hope that they monitor reviews and make adjustments. I really hate to lower my rating but please just do better. I want to continue supporting this small business but I can't downplay my disappointment with my food. read more

I go here for my chicharon cravings! No other chicharon can compare to theirs! As for the food, there is a wide variety of options to choose from! My favorites would be kare-kare, sisig, and kaldereta. They have breakfast menu as well. Longganisa, fried egg, garlic fried rice, etc! Staff are friendly & welcoming. Owner is very nice! Deli style food. Today (Saturday), they had a whole lechon. Other ulam to choose from were pork adobo, beef kaldereta, pork dinuguan, chicken afritada, pinakbet, and picadillo. They provide a choice of steamed rice or pancit or both. There were also some BBQ sticks you could choose from (pigs ears, chicken feet, and pork bung). I was able to taste every ulam dish except picadillo. All tasted authentic Filipino--flavorful, meat was cooked tender. Lechon was tender, juicy, and packed with full flavor. We didn't have any BBQ sticks. We also were provided a sample of their in house fried Chicharon and it was perfect -- soft to bite through and still has that crunch I crave for. The service is typical of Filipino hospitality--warm greeting, smiles, and friendly. There's a few tables to eat in comfortably, however, it's a small space. At the time we came, early lunch, it wasn't busy. They offer party platters for the dishes mentioned above and many more. The food was so good that we will be ordering from them for our next party.
