Pulled up for take out.. ordered low country boil with CAPTAIN SPECIAL medium heat & extra sauce. FIIRRREEEE!!! GOOD AS FK!!! That sauce is the one.. I need the recipe, I'll make my own boils lol. I was sucking the shrimp/corn & kept dipping it in the sauce, licking the gloves, it was PERFECTION! After a while, my lips got numb.. lol. Everything was hot & fresh. I came here because i was recommended it by a friend. Wow it did not disappoint. So good I didn't even get any pictures. The service was fast and there was a lot of people. They offer cocktails which I ordered and they were good, nothing fancy but I don't think anyone expects fancy when they come to eat boiling seafood. They seafood boil seasoning was amazing. Let's talk about the price... some of the best pricing, much cheaper than other spot I've been to. read more

After coming from the Bay Area, we Officially found our go to spot for Cajun seafood. This place is always consistent with the flavor, sauce and spiciness. Restaurant is big and has lots if seating, it is clean and the floor doesn't feel sticky or oily. We usually order for pickup and it's always ready on time. Parking lot is sharing with other businesses and it has never been full or hard to find parking whenever we went. Definitely recommend this place. read more

This review is for a pick up order. It was easy to place an order online and you pay at pick up. I got there about 5 to 10 minutes before the pick up time and it was ready! The hostess was friendly and prompt. As I was looking around, it looked pretty busy for a Thursday evening, which is great for business. Food was packaged well and tasted great. Ordered the bag with crab legs, potatoes, corn, shrimp, and sausage ($42.50 total). The sauce was pretty good and buttery. read more

ABSOLUTELY FELL OFF!!!! I can't believe this place used to be so good around the time they first opened and how they just declined. Just picked up an order yesterday. Total waste of $40. They need more flavor to their sauce. I got the captain's special which is supposed to be a mix of everything. Honestly the worst seafood boil i've ever had. Don't think I'll be returning here ever. read more

Food always good we like there happy hour menu and drink prices. They only have one bartender so during that time things can get slow, it's not her fault it's the company. She is very nice. Good place to watch the game. read more

My family and I have been back here four or five times since my last review and WOW, what a come back!!! I can honestly say they have improved in all aspects of running a successful business. The service is great, the food is excellent and prices are affordable for being seafood. I look forward to another visit soon! read more

It has gone way downhill. The food was good and it looked clean and nicely decorated, but the customer service is so bad! Our waiter was nice, but he dropped off our food and we never saw him again. He didn't ask if we needed gloves, utensils, he didn't check on us, gave no refills, nothing! We had to ask another waitress to grab him for to go bags and the check. Then, we had to pay in front because again, he's no where to be found. The waitstaff/hostesses all had a stank faces and attitude. Wtf?! This place has potential if they hire better staff and more of them. This place is a hard pass. read more

This is one of my granddaughter's favorite places to eat, so we usually order the family boil with dungenous crab, clams & headless shrimp with 1/2 lb sausage and 3 eggs added. The sauce is good as long as it's not too spicy, but she likes it hot so we get extra sauce on the side. I also like the garlic noodles. read more

This place never misses. Reasonable prices for delicious food service is coo. Definitely the perfect place for a family outing or even an intimate date night. The family meal is best for two ppl at the most. Comes with 1lb of your choice of seafood (I got dungeoness crab legs) 3 potatoes & 3 corn. And you get to choose 2 sides. I got sausage & headless shrimp ($4). And the sauce is AMAZING. Get a mixture of all the sauces together **chefs kiss** read more

We are on a road trip and I found this restaurant on the map and it seemed interesting. Some of the reviews about service had me nervous but we figured it might be fun none-the-less. We were greeted kindly at our arrival and seated immediately. Our waitress, Patty, was at our table within seconds. She was extremely sweet and very attentive and returned frequently to the table to check on us and offer drink refills. Our food arrived quickly, was hot, and was perfectly fine. No, it is not fine dining, but that's not what we were looking for. Best of all was the check, which was incredibly reasonable for what we got. We will remember this as an excellent stop on our trips north. read more

The dirtiest restaurant I've ever been in! Paper all over the bathroom floor and tracked out into the hallway of the main dining area. Very slow service! Both orders of onion rings were cold and the batter was falling off, the worst onion rings I've ever had! Poboy sandwich didn't have enough shrimp on it to cover the bun and had terrible flavor. I wouldn't eat here again if it was free! read more

We came in on a Saturday night for my lil sis birthday dinner. She wanted some crab legs and shrimp so we decided on this spot. It was our first time coming. Parking was packed but we managed to find a spot, they have a large lot! We arrived and were greeted by the host. However, staff were just okay throughout our entire night. The host was in sweats and her hair in a bun and I'm not one to judge but she was just rude and kind of obnoxious. We didn't get checked on much by our waitress.. I ordered a shrimp po'boy (not worth it) it only came with 6 shrimp, like 2 wedges of lettuce and 2 pieces of tomato. The only good thing about it was the sauce! Not sure what kinda sauce it was but it was fire! My mom and brothers all got catfish, tilapia and chicken wings with sweet potato fries, cajun fries & onion rings. They didn't even have any hot sauce other than TAPATIO.... Like what? Where's the siracha and crystal? It's fish! I don't want no TAPATIO.. We also got fried cheese sticks and fried calamari and oysters.. all of it tasted so frozen and some weren't even cooked all the way in the middle. Lastly, we ordered the famous low country boil with cajun and lemon pepper medium hot. It came with an egg, potato, corn, shrimp, crab legs and sausage. The flavor was on point, but the quality of the food could've been better. I guess you just gotta think about how busy this place gets and how much seafood they must go through. I wouldn't come back and honestly don't recommend. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere and get treated better than the service they give here. read more

Wait staff seemed inattentive. Our first time here, server asked us 3 times if we were ready to order. Water was delivered, straws were tossed on the table. Tables around us seemed to be serviced well (refills) we were ignored. Finally had to flag someone to get more water. The employees kid seated nearby seemed to get more attention from the wait staff than we did along with him walking in and out of the kitchen area at will. Food was just OK, I ordered a boil, she ordered Shrimp and oyster basket, boil came out after a few minutes, shrimp and oysters took significantly longer. Do I eat or let it get cold. Overall, I was not impressed. read more

We were disappointed with our experience at Captain Crab. We drove approximately 30 minutes each way to pick up our takeout order. After getting home and opening the food, we realized the order was incorrect. When we contacted the restaurant, owner Andy told us we would need to bring the food back before a refund could be issued. He did say it did not need to be returned the same day, but this still requires another long round trip entirely because of the restaurant's mistake. What made the situation frustrating is that the food had already been opened to discover the issue, and California Health & Safety Code §114079 generally recognizes that returned food that has left a customer's possession cannot be re-served for human consumption. We offered to provide photos and proof of the incorrect order and hoped for a more customer-friendly resolution considering the distance involved. Mistakes happen in every restaurant. The real issue is how they are handled. Unfortunately, this experience left us disappointed with the level of customer service and inconvenience involved in resolving an order error that was not our fault. read more

Great food overall, a young waitress clearly didn't want to be there so I left a good cash tip, it's important that people should know that they will add their own tip through some loophole, they lie and steal however it might be worth it for these specific boils. read more

Tried it for the first time today, my family usually has firehouse crawfish in Sacramento but we didn't feel like driving. Wasn't too sure what to expect of Captain Crab because most other seafood spots I've had it town were mid, I was pleasantly surprised tho. Flavor was pretty good we got the captain special & mild spice, price was decent as well. We made it just in time for happy hour, and got the family special for $58 which was a great price & definitely enough food for our small family. Service was great as well & a decent environment in general. read more

I was out in Stockton, CA the other day visiting my girlfriend and asked her to pick a place to take her to lunch. We both love seafood and crab, so she picked this place which is right off the freeway. Plenty of parking the place inside was huge. They had great selection of seafood boils. I picked the option of crab of choice(I got dungeons, of course) with two other choice options so I got crawfish and sausage using Captains seasoning in mild for heat for $58.! I should've taken a picture, but I was so hungry and so excited to eat with my hands(gloves provided) ... It came with a good amount of potatoes and corn and everything else and it was so flavorful.! I'm definitely gonna come back when I'm in the area again. Service was fast too! I must try if you're into Seafood!!! read more

Placed a picked up order on a Friday night. Parking lot was packed...that was a good thing. Ordered the "Ultimate Captain Special". It was pretty good only than it came with one 1 lobster tail and it's advertised as 3lbs of seafood. Plan on returning to try again. Maybe lunch next time. read more

I had been driving past this location for almost year since it opened and decided to finally stop in! So glad I did. There is plenty of parking. We went in on a Saturday afternoon around 2p and we were seated right away. The restaurant is super spacious and there was plenty of room for our baby stroller next to our table. Our waitress came over right away to take our drink orders. I decided to start with a cocktail and got the Dusse sidecar. It was 10/10 amazing. We started with the shrimp appetizer which was excellent. We both decided to get seafood boils which also came out excellent. I was so surprised to see that they had blue crab as an option! I am a Marylander who grew up k blue crabs so I am always excited when I can get it on the west coast. Service was great. Restaurant was clean and safe. Will definitely be visiting again next time I'm in the mood for seafood. read more

Unfortunately, today's visit was very disappointing due to the poor service, and I don't think I'll be returning. When our food was brought out, the server didn't acknowledge us at all--no greeting, no eye contact, no offer to get anything. She simply set the food down and walked away. We had to flag her down five minutes later just to ask for salt and pepper. She never checked on us again for the rest of the meal. After our meal (which we ate and chatted over for about two hours), we had to get up and go to the front just to pay, with our crab boil bag leftovers in hand. Thankfully, the cashier was helpful, but the lack of basic service from our server was unacceptable. This was a Thursday evening, and we were a table of 3. read more

Definitely 10 stars for Patryce! We came in last night for dinner around 7 pm. Plenty of parking as they have a large lot and we were able to get in right away. Patryce was our server and she is First Class! She had a great smile and awesome personality. She was professional, friendly and she helped with our questions on the menu as this was our first time. We both ordered the Famous Low Country Boil. It has 1 pound of carb, 1/2 pound of shrimp, 1/2 pound of sausage, potato, corn and hard boiled egg. We also ordered a side of rice and bread. The food came out quickly and was so fun to open your bag and eat. They give you gloves and bibs to stay clean and lots of napkins! Food was delicious. The rice is plain white rice and the bread was buttered and hot. We also had pink lemonade which was delicious! Bonus Points for a clean restroom with nice soft toilet paper! It is the little things that matter :) Thank you Patryce, please ask for her section, you will not be disappointed. read more

Discussing, we went to eat and have had decent experiences in the passed within reason, we waited way long to be sat in a basically empty restaurant THEN when we were sat our table cloth was sticking to our table with grease from the previous patrons and the napkin holder was covered in greasy finger prints, needless to say we were ready to leave, we unfortunately will not be back as we've noticed the steady decline in cleanliness and service. I'm surprised this place is only 3 stars considering when we went there was a good amount of people. We were seated right away, and our waitress took our order not too long after. Our waitress was honest about our order, and her guesstimation on what we ordered was on point. We ordered the king special, another lb of shrimp, and sweet potato fries. We didn't wait too long for our food and I felt like the seasoning was on point. The hot probably could've been a little more hot, but everything was cooked well. Okay, it's not the most tasty crab boil but still worth stopping by. Popcorn shrimp was the best I've ever had. I asked for an extra 1/2 pound of snow crabs and it was $22... for half a pound. Wow! Service was immaculate. Server was really nice and attentive. She made suggestions and checked on me very regularly. I really appreciate it. Hush puppies were okay. Overcooked. The boil bag itself just lacked seasoning and flavor. I got the Cajun seasoning and medium heat. Blue moon was $6 which seems high. Mix the drafted beer with actual orange juice and it's amazing! Don't knock until you try it. Overall it's a place I'd visit again around this time of day. Ambience is chill. Lots of netting and boat decorations all over.
