Tostada preparada

This is the first Seafood Truck that I have ever tried, and it is amazing!!! The ceviche, and the prepared oysters are superb, fresh and fresh!!! Across from the Seafood Truck is the liquor store so you can always walk over and pick up your boozy booze and really get down in the parking lot. The owner has a paging system so you can walk away and stay in your air-conditioned car and he pages you to come pick up your order. He has also installed tables and umbrellas for sitting and shade. Outside dining. The owner is the real deal! Amazing attention to detail and CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE IS EXCELLENT!! I love it and you should try it.

I ordered the super tostada that was supposed to have crab, shrimp, octopus. If you order to go make sure you check your food.

I wish I would've tried this truck sooner because omg it's sooo bomb! The owner is such a sweet dude, too! I couldn't make up my mind as to what I wanted so he suggested the aguachile with some octopus in it. I also wanted it to be spicy and boiii, I can't wait to come eat up anything and everything else he's got! He said the oysters and mandilona are really popular. Definitely check this truck out! Fresh and delicious!

Honestly don't know why I haven't tried this place before. Ordered two tostadas, loaded oysters, and agua Chile. It was so good, fresh, and citrusy. The owner was VERY NICE!!! He was so sweet, he gave us extra/free tostadas for being first time customers!!! Highly recommend this place, good pricing, humble owner, great person and food.

It's just a food trailer in a questionable neighborhood but the food is great and the prices are reasonable.

One of the best aguachiles I've ever had, good customer service call ahead and it'll be ready by the time you're there.

Sausage was tasty. Boiled eggs were good too. The head on shrimp were excellent. Everything completely covered in sauce. I didn't need the extra on the side. Shrimp were Easy to peel and tasted sweet and texture wasnt extremely chewy, cooked great. They snow crab legs were slightly sweet more so in the claws and knuckles. Lightly salty too in the legs. Not bad at all. They give you all.the needed utensils to get the job done. This was alot of food for one person I wont do that again. Service was great not many people on a Thursday at noon. Young lady came over to check on me and other folks often. Ambiance was you hands deep in the boil with a bit of sauces splashing as you break the crab legs open. Music was playing i think it was pop music. Total with tip was $118.67 . One more thing. The sauce was a bit salty is all.

So I give um 2 stars.

The chicken Parmigiana (house specialty) was presented on a large plate and the food only took up half of it. Was this a plating error? It truly looked like food was missing on the plate. The Rib Eye, a special of the night came in 2 large pieces and on small piece. It made no sense. It took a while to get our waitresses attention, but when we did she took it to her manager. I sent it back after asking is this how it is typically served she said sometimes it comes like that and other times it comes as one big piece. When ordering a $60 steak I expect to get a whole steak. If I was told it was done for sharing purposes maybe I would have understood it being in 2 pieces but not a third small piece. To top it off, this is for the manager on site tonight, your patrons can see your reaction. You looked pissed that I had the audacity to send it back. Then while you stood speaking with the chef in the open kitchen it again looked like a problem that I would want a whole steak. Lastly when speaking with the waitress and she leaves seemingly upset at your reaction it does not make for a good dining atmosphere. The restaurant was packed. It is homecoming weekend. Like led like some locals were there too. At the table next to us a staff member sat down with some patrons eating before going back to work tables delivering beverages. Probably on a break. I was please to see family and friends supporting the restaurant. The Chicken parmigiana with the pesto was delicious besides the poor plating. The Rib Eye once served properly was lacking n some seasoning or as my son said it tasted bland. Maybe the butter needed to be melted all over it to give it additional seasoning, but I would prefer to not eat the cold butter that didn't want to melt into the steak. Mashed potatoes were mashed potatoes. String beans were blanched and crunchy. Lots of them filling up the plate. The BEST thing we ate was the Pear Crisp! It was warm and sweet with the perfect crunch on top. The restaurant is large but reservations fill up! There was a back room that could be closed up by some drapes and a large bar area. Also in the front is a market to purchase pre cooked and portion items home. Along with sauces, ice cream, items for a charcuterie board and wine to drink in house or take it to go. To go prices are slightly lower. I would consider going back and give it an another try. The wood fired pizzas, burgers and salads looked very good. Large portions as well for those. Watching the managers reaction to my disappointment in my order truly detracted from the dining experience. He never came over to speak to us. I might be in from out of town but I do get to choose where my family dines when we are here large or small parties.

They've been around for over 30 years so that's a statement on its own. Place is big (lots of seating), bright with natural light. Service casual with a nice wine/cocktail menu, cloth napkins and bread service. The early evening visit I went was super quiet and it seemed like the servers knew all the regulars in there. I like that vibe. Glass of Pinot Gris ($10/4.5*) Anytime I travel around and dine I try find if a local wine is available. I saw they had this unique white wine from a Lodi winery so I immediately went with that. Cool, crisp, slight stone fruit aroma with a minerally finish. Love those traits in a white wine with seafood. Cajun Shrimp ($20/3.5*) Upon arrival for the price I initially thought it was an iffy portion for the price. 6 smallish shrimps (1 n a half bites per shrimp). Very simply prepared, grilled lightly with just a smidge of cajun seasoning then served with 2 sauces (a cocktail and tartar). But as I ate these, I did start to like them more and more. The seasoning was not bold but did work well with the grill flavor. And a dab of creamy tartar sauce complimented the spiced-grill flavor nicely, and it paired super nice with the pinot gris. These ended up being better than I had initially perceived. Clam Chowder (4.5*) I chose a cup of chowder as it comes with an entree. A salad can also be had if you wanted. But I found their chowder to be quite ideal. Perfect creamy texture without being too thick and stodgy, and great presence of potatoes and tender clams. The flavor could be more briny/clam-y but that's just my preference. Great with a dab of Tabasco and a dip from their hearty table bread. Snapper Filet ($24/4*) Thin filet seasoned very mildly if any at all. Chose for it to be grilled versus fried or sauted. But you have choices here which I applaud. But it was so mild that I took a half pat of butter and melted it on top of the filet, sprinkled with salt and a squeeze of lemon. Totally amped up the dish. Next time I think I'll try a more involved dish like a seafood pasta. Served with nicely steamed veggies and red potatoes which I find comforting with simple seafood. Too full for dessert and their offerings did look promising. I visit my retired aunt and uncle in this town a couple times per year. I think I'm gonna include this place as part of our options for dining outs. See ya again Bud's, well played.

Lunch time so she chooses Bud's a long standing restaurant located in the Lincoln Center. Walking in and looking around, you get that old school vibe where a more mature crowd would dine for lunch and talk business. We were greeted and sat immediately, followed by waitress coming by to take our drink order. We placed our order: Fish & Chips (no coleslaw) for me and my wife chose the catfish platter. Restaurant provided bread (supposedly sourdough but couldn't tell by smell or taste) and butter prior to our meal. Food arrives and my fish looked (like fish sticks) & smelled like something out of a frozen box, luckily after a bite the fish was fresh but unseasoned. And because it was unseasoned, the only thing I could taste was the lemon I squeezed on top. My fries were salted which helped . My wife had a nice piece of fried catfish that was unseasoned too with steamed veggies and a side of rice that was very dry. Our waitress kept tabs on us during stay which was probably the highlight of our visit. Not sure if this was an off day for their kitchen but when a staple like Fish & Chips at a seafood restaurant is excused poorly IMO then it's time to go back to the drawing board and hold the kitchen to a higher standard.

I've tried most of them and they just can't match the creamy garlic butter sauce on the crab that The Crab Zone has perfected. I always order the Dungeness crab (garlic butter of course) and my daughter ordered the traditional and zesty, Spicy Cajun sauce. I have to say, the crabs were pretty good in size, very meaty and very tasty. We ordered the fried calamari for an appetizer which tasted freshly made. We both ordered the peach lemonade that had fresh pieces of chopped peaches in the drink. Very tasty. The crab comes with choices of corn, potatoes and sausage that you expect in a crab boil. The hot link sausage is my favorite. I also ordered a side order of the garlic noodles. I love garlic noodles but these are a little thin and dry and don't preserve as well when cooled down. I would love to try the shrimp, mussels and clams but the crab was more than enough. The service is spectacular. The owner is so nice. Her kindness makes her my secret crush....but let's just keep that between us. The ambience is trendy, sporty, divey -just perfect for the locals and regulars. They were playing a nice soundtrack and had the World Cup playing on the tv. While everything about The Crab Zone is spectacular - the Dungeness crab is a bit pricey. $250 was the price tag (not including tip) and about $40 more than last year. But no complaints because The Crab Zone is delicious.
