Yes, it is a 5 star review for a food truck! We bought a lot of food and all of it was incredible! We started with Gol Gappe which was not only appealing to the eye, the depths of flavors were memorable! We will be ordering this often! The butter chicken was very flavorful and mild in spice level. The tiki masala was spicy for the mild level, not spicy for Indian food. The flavors were on point for both of these dishes and I will definitely get them again. The last thing ordered was fish pakora and this was impressive! The sauces served with it were contrasting of each other and made it seem like we had two orders of fish in a good way! The fish is battered but in a thin layer that was well spiced. I did not expect to get this level of food from a truck in front of Home Depot!!! Well done Curry on Wheels!!! This is now in the rotation! I'll take pictures next time as this time we just dove in! read more

Dang it! I ate here a few times, the last time will ne the last time. Wife found a hair in her Samosa. I goredered chicken Tikka Masala, and got stomach flu like symptoms ( I say that to not get too graphic) for a whole day. I saw the cook dig his ear when he was making my order. I should have just asked for a refund right there. But I dont really care for confrontation. They do need to work on their sanitary awareness though. Respectfully read more

I always used to see this truck going home from my old job and have wanted to try it. They are one of the food trucks at the plaza so I was excited to try it. The guy was cool and recommended I get the butter chickens. Honestly was kind of a disappointment didn't have much flavor and the chicken was not so tender. I would be down to give another shot in the future but a pretty big disappointment for me. read more

Great food and friendly people. We won't go to any other Indian place because we love the flavors and options. Highly recommend!

Terrible service. They only care about making money. Bland food. You will find better Indian food available in Stockton, don't waste your time here. read more

I've been coming here for a while now and I'm honestly sad to see the drop in quality, from food to service. Today's single order of butter chicken with 2 orders of roti and a mango lassi took nearly 50 minutes, during which a Doordash driver arrived and was given their order before giving us ours. When we received the mango lassi, it was very thin and had red/yellow dye spots showing through the bottom of the to-go cup, and the flavor was incredibly bland. The rest of our food was decent, but at that point I had absolutely no time left on my break to even enjoy my meal before I had to leave again. (Simply put, if I was looking for a sit-down restaurant wait time, I would've just gone to a sit-down restaurant). If you are looking for a quick, filling meal with decent service and prices, try looking elsewhere. read more

Okay, folks, this is a food truck making indian food. This is not glamorous. This is takeout from a food truck. That being said, the food is fantastic. It's al la cart. Give me complimentary jasmine rice. I ordered the current goat. And the fish pakora. Which meant for about twenty-seven dollars. We have a picture menu on side of the truck. So you can just see what you want to order. The proportions are good. Half levels of spice, mild, medium and spicy. I got the food in about five minutes. Everything was piping hot. The people were polite and friendly and have problem ordering. They knew exactly what to do and were quick about it, and they were very effectively. Hey didn't treat me. Food takes Visa Mastercard in American Express. So that's a good thing. Again, I mentioned to you. That this is a food truck. So the bottom line is if you're looking for a good, take home food, maybe perhaps you don't want to do anything. Maybe perhaps you don't want to wait. Maybe perhaps you're just hungry. This is the place #foodtruck #indianfood #delicious #takeaway #convenient #affordable. Sorry for not posting any pictures. I'm gonna be to this coming. Try this truck. So you're probably wondering where the location is. They're on the opposite end of home depot just at the edge of their parking lot. You'll see food two food trucks there. So go try their food. I'm serious go try their food. #foodtruck #foodie #nomnom read more

Best Indian food in Stockton. Been coming here for years and it never disappoints. Also can't beat the price!

Sukh is great, and food is also. Food is consistent and delicious. I highly recommend to grab to go anytime you are in the area.

Best food in town. Beyond delicious. Amazing!!!!! I can't get enough of it. It may take a while but it's worth the wait. If ur in a rush don't bother. It takes time to make good quality food. Anyone who rates less than five stars is having a bad day. Absolutely no way you can rate this place less than five stars it's too good read more

Curry on Wheels - The best - Indian Near Me - Stockton, California

This is the best Indian food 209 (personal opinion), I got it by accident and it was the best mistake I could have ever made. The service that was given is unforgettable, and the food I can't forget. The Veggie wrap with samosas is my go-to order and I recommend everything on their menu. read more

I love love love this food truck! Yes there is always a wait and usually due to it being a family run business of husband and wife so sometimes if it's just one person there is a 20 minute wait but the quality and amazing flavors of the food makes up for it. I love the chaat gol gappe which are filled with potatoes chickpeas and topped with a spicy water, yogurt and seasoning.. sounds weird but tastes amazing. You have to eat it there otherwise it'll get soggy. The veggie wrap and butter chicken are also delicious. Worth the stop read more

Great food and great service! Try spicy chaat and mango lassi. Clean environment for anyone wants fast service and friendly faces.

It was alright, i ordered the butter chicken with garlic roti (bread). I'll be completely honest the butter chicken was lacking flavor despite having so many spices. Bread didn't have much of a garlic flavor either. For the price I'd rather go to an Indian restaurant. read more

I rarely eat Indian food in Stockton because the quality just does not cut it, but I frequent this tasty and affordable food truck! The somewhat slow services is forgiven by customers for the trucks friendly staff and fresh ingredients. There are a lot of vegetarian options which is appealing and there are a few non traditional items with an Indian twist. Recommendations Veggie Wrap - This is so flippin' good you'll never believe it's vegetarian. It honesty tastes like a Big Mac wrap. So delicious! Curry Pakora - Mmm! This is creamy, savory, and comforting. You can't go wrong with this order. This truck is usually parked by Kaiser and the 99 Cent store. Enjoy! read more

You are great. One request please come down to Manteca for 2-3 days a week. So that new communities in Manteca, Lathrop and River Island can come down to get the food. I suggest you consider new community park - Willie Weatherford Park (2405 Dilip Drive). read more

Other reviewers said that this was the best Indian food in Stockton. I frequent Majahara and Swagat, but I must agree that the food quality here noticeably better. The butter chicken is nutty, and as others recommended, the veggie wrap is delicious. I'm definitely coming here again to try their street food stuff as well, stay tuned! read more

Curry on Wheels - Menu - Indian Near Me - Stockton, California

Its very delicious food we ordered papdi chat and samosa chat. The quality and quantity is really good. Prices are much cheaper.

This food truck is REALLY GOOD. They used to be on Hammer and El Dorado. My wife and I where bummed when it moved because it took us so long to find it. Great prices and good spice. Happy we found it on the side street by the Starbucks on Hammer. YUM! read more

they want people to wear mask and be safe due to covid 19, but none of the workers had mask or gloves on. the food is great not gonna lie but they didn't follow covid 19 regulations read more

I'm not a foodie, but this mom and dad duo made me question my love for food. From great prices to spices that make you wanting more, their food takes you to another planet then brings you back. Before I had Curry on Wheels, I thought I knew what good Indian food was but boy was I wrong. I couldn't recommend this place enough. read more

the papri in the chaat tasted like it was expired and had a terrible aftertaste the last time i went.

I never liked Indian food until I tried this place. They gave me a new found love for Indian food.

I ordered butter chicken, chicken briyani and fish pakora. Everything was BOMB and fresh! They gave me a small free sample and it was also good. Definitely recommend. Good customer service. read more

Staff doesn't wear masks or gloves. Also didn't see the lady wash her hands or sanitize after I paid

Delicious delicious delicious!!! Not only has consistent quality in execution and flavor been hit and miss but cleanliness has literally been an issue with Indian restaurants in Stockton. I'll spare you the stomach turning health concern discoveries made locally but I'm here to say that Curry on Wheels is a God-send for those who love Indian food. I sampled the menu, and I am telling you, LIQUID CRACK on wheels is a better name. The butter chicken is absolutely addictive, the biriani rice is packed with flavor and the wraps are perfect for a filling, satisfying vegetarian alternative. The truck is clean, the food is made fresh and made with pride for traditional Indian cuisine. read more

Just stumbled upon this truck. Ordered #13, #16 omg this truck is fire . Great price man Nothing bad to say about this place.

Best butter chicken in town. Best quality indian food with reasonable prices and big quantity. Free rice on any curry dish. I wish they doordash or deliver. read more

Although very limited selection, the items seem fresh and taste fresh- which is of course a plus! The only reason it's a three star is because I spotted the worker scratching his head several times without gloves and using the same hands (without gloves and definitely without washing his hands) to handle the food. Look, once is whatever, gross. But several times isn't looking good okay? I would come back here though but I'd be selective in what I order. Perhaps something that doesn't require too much of his hands into the actual food? More sanitary practices would be appreciated. I'd raise the rating then. read more

I loved #12 Butter Chicken over err white rice. I is enough for two. I also ordered 3 Samosas! At $1 a piece I saved the 2 extra for later. The only thing too spicey was the Samosa sauces. I will try again later with a sweet sauce. Can't wait to try #13!!! read more
