Walking in, the line was short but the staff took a really long time servicing people. Since it's a 2hr drive from SF to Sac, you know I'm about to bulk buy. The case had a good selection but quite a few were sold out already. Everything looks really delicious but I had to control myself. Almond Croissant $7.50 - I don't remember what this tasted like so it must've been standard. Matcha Croissant $9 - Don't let the price deter you because for $9, you get a big filling croissant and it was honestly so delicious. The dipped part was like a white chocolate matcha and the inside matcha filling was so good. I don't know how but I fridged it and ate it the next day, IT WAS STILL CRISPY! This was the highlight and highly recommend getting it. Blueberry Choux $11 - This was also really good too. The blueberry filling was creamy and delicious. It tasted really fresh. Macarons $2.95 each - Standard stuff. I got a Thai coconut cream and this is a flavor I haven't seen before and recommend trying it! In summary, highly recommend trying this place. It is on the pricier side but if you're like me and don't go to Sac often, I would give this place a try and buy extra!!

I completely understand why costs are rising--ingredients, labor, and overhead aren't getting any cheaper for local businesses, so an increase makes sense. However, with the current pricing, stopping by for a routine treat or grabbing a few items for the family is becoming noticeably less affordable for us. The quality and taste are still consistent, but it's shifted from a casual, regular stop to more of a rare, occasional splurge. I still love what they offer, but I really hope prices stabilize so it stays accessible for regular visits.

As the afternoon went on, it became unbearably hot inside the café. We asked the staff if they could lower the temperature, but were told that administration had taken the remote control and that employees did not have access to adjust the air conditioning. It was a very unusual explanation, and honestly, I wasn't sure whether it was true or if they simply wanted us to leave. Unfortunately, the uncomfortable temperature made it difficult to enjoy our time there, especially during a meeting. Based on this experience, I don't plan on returning anytime soon.

There's indoor plus a covered outdoor area that I loved. Menu-wise, if you eat everything you're thriving. Vegetarians have options. Vegans... you can make it work, but you'll be doing a little remixing. Plenty of non-dairy milks though, so drinks are easy. And speaking of -- the yumberry spritzer?? yeah I'm thinking about it again. I'm not even a carbonation person and somehow this was insanely good. Got the berry, already planning my return for the blue one. Staff looked like actual pastry chefs (uniforms on point), super friendly, good energy all around. Also randomly spotted a Korean item on the menu which threw me for a second but I'm into it. There's grab-and-go too if you're in a rush. Not my first pick if you're strictly vegan and want a full spread, but still really cute and worth popping in... if only for that drink.

What I usually get looks like someone simply poured coffee, water, and milk into a cup and served it. The presentation and quality just don't match what they show online. The customer service was also disappointing. The cashier was very short and unfriendly with me, and then went back to playing on their phone. The way I was spoken to made me feel like I was asking for free food instead of being a paying customer. It's really a shame because the café itself is beautiful and the pastries are delicious. I genuinely want to like this place, but when the drinks don't match what's advertised and the service makes you feel unwelcome, it really takes away from the whole experience. I really hope management works on both consistency and customer service, because this café has so much potential.

Amanda was a pleasure to work with. She did our cake and dessert table for our November 2015…read morewedding. She is simply amazing! From the moment I contacted her I knew I was in good hands. She was extremely put together and professional. I loved everything about her and her company! From the cute business cards, to the cake tasting/presentation, her communication and of course the end result. Amanda made the process very easy for us from choosing cake flavors, the dessert table and design, and even our delicious sugar cookie favors. She met with us a couple times to discuss designs and our vision. She was extremely gracious despite the many changes- I was extremely indecisive. I couldn't decide on our cake size or how many desserts to have at our dessert table (my eyes are bigger than my stomach and I wanted way too much). Amanda helped me select the type of dessert she felt would make sense and also be visually pleasing. A month before the wedding, I finally settled on wedding cake design...or designs. Amanda provided her input, incorporated the different designs I wanted and even tweaked the design and it turned out better than what I (and my husband) wanted. She was a sweetheart from start to finish. Aside from her amazing personality her cakes and desserts are amazing! All of our guests were raving about the desserts and especially the cake. We ended up getting a 4 tier cake with each layer being a different flavor (salted caramel, birthday cake, chocolate, and vanilla with blackberry). I'm sad I did not get to try every layer, but for the two I did. I loved! We even had guests at the wedding that do not like cake enjoy a piece and wanted more! We still get inquiries from family and friends about who made our cake and dessert table. I could not have been more satisfied with Amanda's work and I look forward to using her again for special occasions and parties! Thank you so much Amanda for your service and begin so patient with all of my indecisiveness!

I cannot say enough good things about Christina and Sweet Arts. She created this absolutely…read morebeautiful cake for my wife's baby shower, and I genuinely could not have been happier with how it turned out. I gave Christina our vision--a soft wildflower and rainbow theme for welcoming our baby girl--and she brought it to life beautifully. The pastel rainbow, flowers, butterflies, soft pink and green details, and the "Welcome Baby Girl" lettering all came together perfectly. It was elegant, sweet, and whimsical without being overdone. It honestly became one of the centerpieces of the entire shower, and we received so many compliments on it. Beyond her talent, Christina was just an incredibly wonderful person to work with. I came to her on a relatively quick turnaround and with a budget I needed to stay within. She listened to me, worked with me, and was extremely accommodating throughout the entire process. There was never any pressure or difficulty--just kindness, cooperation, and a genuine desire to make sure we were happy. What impressed me most was how humble she was. Christina is clearly very talented, but she carries herself with such kindness and sincerity. You can tell she cares about her customers and understands that these cakes are attached to important moments in people's lives. This one certainly was. We are preparing to welcome our baby girl, and this shower meant a great deal to our family. Christina created something that fit that moment perfectly and will now be part of our memories and pictures from that day forever. I sincerely hope Sweet Arts continues to grow and thrive because Christina deserves it. When you find a small business owner who combines genuine talent with this level of kindness, patience, flexibility, and care, you want to see them succeed. If you're in Tracy or the surrounding area and need a cake for a special occasion, give Christina at Sweet Arts an opportunity. I would recommend her without hesitation. Thank you, Christina, for helping make such an important day for our family even more beautiful.

Updating the pictures for full transparency…read more I wanted to update my original post with additional pictures so customers can clearly see what they could potentially receive when purchasing this cake. When we first sliced the cake, the center was visibly dark, as shown in the photos. My wife paid $120 for this very small cake, and for most people, $120 is not an insignificant amount of money. My intention is not to bash the baker or the business. I am simply sharing my experience and the actual condition of the cake we received so that other customers can make an informed decision. What has been most disappointing is how the situation has been handled. In my interactions with the owner, I have not felt that responsibility was taken for my concerns, nor was I offered a resolution to make the situation right. Instead, the responses have felt defensive. As a customer, I believe concerns like this deserve to be acknowledged. Sometimes a sincere apology and a willingness to address the customer's experience can go a long way. Again, I am sharing the updated photos for transparency. People can look at the pictures, read about my experience, and make their own decision.

Here is what I found after having the one from B Patisserie: Pro: compote-ish filling, albeit very little of it, with no actual fruit so I couldn't tell if it was apple or pear. If they had included actual fruit that would've been a game changer for me. Or even more of it--with cinnamon. - there is indoor seating, which is nice if you're looking for that. Cons: - price point. Arsicault's KA is $5.50, compared to the $7 apiece here. I get it, the rental space is bigger and there is seating as opposed to the grab and go nature of Arsicault. I can do without seating. For the price differential, without more filling, the difference is immaterial for me so its higher price doesn't justify itself to me. - slightly smaller in size to Arsicault's round perfection of a KA - no real center of spongy soft goodness bc they fold it in at the outside and the pastry dips in the middle so you have less pastry. While both KA are good, I would say Arsicault wins out on overall taste. There is more to enjoy bc it's bigger, so the outer layer of caramelized crispness contrasts the soft, spongy filling. B Patisserie has the crispy outside but it's folded in at the edges for presentation and dips in the middle so there is less pastry that it's mostly just crispy with a small middle of filling. Good but overall, Arsicault is much more satisfying with a good cup of coffee for me.
